The whole experience is great from start to finish. They take their time with you and they dont hover over you. You move at your pace. They help you understand what your insurance covers and you know how much your spending. Worth every penny. I wont go any place else.
I mistakenly lost my glasses lens while out in Atlantic City. When I called to ask if they could help me replace my glasses, Suzanne was more than accommodating. She assured me that as long as I came into the store at least 45mins before closing, I could get sorted out. When I arrived she politely requested I wear my mask, since I forgot mine in my car, she gave me a fresh one. She already had my prescription on file and all I had to do was pick out the frames. I was so anxious about not being able to see fully, and this whole situation was remedied with extreme ease. Shout out Suzanne & Pearle Vision Glassboro for helping me out in a pinch.
This is the best vision center my family has ever been too. Suzanne is fantastic and fun to work with and Dr. Kelsey is friendly and thorough with her exam. I could not be happier with my experience.
They are very fast and professional, just moved to the area and my family already goes here, and theyve been perfect. I was also able to walk in with a problem with my frames that they patched up right there :)
Staff is always friendly, office is clean and sanitized, & they do the best job of working with your insurance to ensure your benefits are utilized in the best manner possible or with you (if you dont have insurance) to get you the best deals for an affordable price! Will def be going back for the foreseeable (pun intended!) future! :)
Brought my father for a pair of glasses and he was so pleasantly surprised to have excellent customer service. He had a great variety of choices and he was given some great suggestions concerning the fit of the glasses. He was so impressed with the service that he ended up getting 2 pairs of glasses. I recommend this store as you can see they stand behind the product they sell and take great pride in making sure their customers are happy.
Great service, all questions answered with great details. Great selection of frames styles and colors. If you need great service and a good variety of styles I recommend this location. I drove from the AC area but the drive was worth the quality we received.
Really loved the doctor I saw. He was super helpful, took time to listen to me, and even explained the science behind his choices. The tech was very nice and adjusted my glasses even though I didnt buy them there.I did take off one star because of the receptionist. She had her mask around her neck, was coughing, and was taking private phone calls while waiting on me. She was helpful, getting me the receipts I needed and telling me about a rebate. But Im just personally a stickler for wearing masks properly to protect others.
Staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive! They made me feel comfortable at every step, and worked to get me the best deals and rates for a new pair of glasses and a state of the art eye scan. I will definitely be back for all future eye care needs!
This was my first eye doctor appointment ever. In my 40s and just started noticing it can be a little harder to read things, blurry here and there. I figured I would make an appointment and see what they say. Exam was fine, the Dr was cool which is why I gave 2 stars. He dialed in my prescription which was very basic, not a desperate need for glasses, just a prescription that would make reading easier. Picked out frames and they end up totaling around $800. They werent sure of an exact price until they ran insurance through (they were having a problem locating specific insurance limits and such). There was also discounts they were supposed to apply to get an accurate total. After trying to figure it out for about 20 minutes, they said they would figure it all out and call me with a total for the glasses. That was over 2 weeks ago. Should I return there for my eye exam next year? Hmmm
Great customer service and eye exam, however, the selection of frames are limited. They need to expand the brands that they carry. I would like to see Jimmy Choo, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana & Gucci. I like a cat eye frame with a lot of bling. No bling here in this store. It’s a shame that I have to go elsewhere for frames after eye exam.
Been to a lot of eye doctors in my time, best office ever. Fun people, knowledgeable, don’t try to oversell, work as a team. When I win the lottery I will STILL come back here from my tropical island.
Had a double vision problem and they made me a pair of glasses to help correct it. Great service and reasonable.
Polite and pleasant staff. Now my wife is going to come here verses the competition.
The exam was expensive ($200) but thorough. One thing that upset me was the examiner was wearing a mask with a breathing valve, which I didnt notice until the exam was underway and made me very uncomfortable. Perhaps she was not aware, but those valves do not prevent spread because they only filter inhalations not exhalations. For all intents and purposes as far as protecting me was concerned, she might as well have had no mask, yet she was inches from my face. Had I noticed earlier I may not have stayed. The glasses, bifocals, were very expensive (I did not buy them) I dont have vision insurance. I chose a $129 frame, one of the least expensive, plain. The man said he was giving me a 30% discount. I said no to every extra offered me. Yet the total was still $495! I said forget it, came home and got much cuter ones, with every extra including transition lenses, for $103 online.I tried to leave a review on their Facebook page, only to discover they have turned off reviews! That speaks volumes IMO and tells me they were getting some pretty bad reviews.
Really friendly, helpful staff. They complete a thorough eye exam, and will fully answer any questions you have regarding the exam. They want you to be happy with your frames over telling you/steering you to buy particular ones. Would highly recommend.
Excellent customer service. Everyone is Very knowledgeable. Dr, owners and staff are super friendly and helpful.
Here is my nightmare at Pearle in Glassboro NJ. I went there because they were the closest that took my insurance and Ive used Pearle in Vorheese NJ in the past with good results. The eye exam was quick with no issues. When I went to pick out glasses the selection was small. I found a pair of Oakleys that I liked and after progression, anti glare, anti scratch, transition, etc it came out to over $800. Out of pocket was a little over $300. I asked if it would take long he said no there is a lab in the back where they make the lenses. It took about a week. When I got them I said the left eye was blurry. They told me they changed to progression and it will take a while to get used to again. I brought them back the next day and said something was wrong. They said there was a wave in the left lense. I asked if they can put a rush on it and they said they cant because they send them out to a lab!? So someone was lying. I chalked it up to maybe I miss heard them. I wanted to treat myself to sunglasses for fishing so they said I can get them half price. Picked another pair of Oakleys and after polorization, anti glare, progression, etc another $800+. So $400 out of pocket. A little over a week later I go pick them up and the regular glasses seemed better (told needed to get used to them again) and the sunglasses were horrible. Another week plus and the sunglasses are in again. Still horrible. They told me the curved lenses wont work with my astigmatism. I picked out another pair of Oakleys (still poor selection). I asked if there was a price difference between the two frames since I didnt see a price. They said no. At this point I was too punch drunk to argue and I just wanted this ordeal over with. A few days go by and my wife got a call that they were in. The guy that sold the original sunglasses was there. He said they werent done and dont know why I would get a call like my wife was nuts. Then tells me the new ones I picked were better because the original ones had stress cracks! Another two weeks go by and they were finally done. I see out of the sun glasses perfectly. Now the first pair I bought bother the hell out of me. I went back to work and I cant wear them on the computer and I cant see my navigation in the car clearly. I also throw axes competitively where itravel many times a year for tournaments. In all three cases I have to wear my old glasses. So I spent $800 of my own money and all I got was aggravation, a pair of sunglasses that feel cheap and dont enjoy, and a pair of glasses I hardly ever wear. Meanwhile Pearle got $1600. I was also supposed to get safety glasses. Thank God they didnt sell them there! So Im sorry, every time someone mentions Pearle Im going to tell my story. I already sent my wife and kid somewhere else. I did contact Pearl that swore they would make it right. They sent me to a website to fill something out and never heard back. Told my contact and again swore theyd make it right. Never heard from them again.
My husband and son have been coming here for years and after 14 (yikes, I know) of not visiting the eye doctor, I dragged myself to call. I on the other end of the phone was the friendliest person, and they were able to get me in for a same day appointment to see the eye doctor located in house. Once I was finished my appointment, I was able to get my new glasses. The staff at Pearle Vision were just unbelievably helpful in helping me to select my new frames and made me feel super comfortable (because I took FOREVER) even taking the time to comment on the shape that I was gravitating towards and pulling other options that were similar. They have a ton of brands, including a large selection of bargains, kids and premium brands too! Fortunately, I have excellent vision so I will not be visiting every year, but I will be sure to tell anyone that asks to pay them a visit!!
Great service and customer care!
The staff at Pearl Vision are outstanding! Paul is very professional, helpful and very friendly, from his initial warm greeting to helping me through the whole process of purchasing progressive lenses. Dr Zupsic is highly experienced, well-mannered and very professional. My glasses were ready in one week and they are perfect. I would highly recommend this Pearl Vision location in Glassboro, NJ to everyone for an excellent experience and highly competent professionals.
My experience at this Pearl Vision Center was very good. This was my first visit and Paul made me feel very comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful also when I went back to pick up my glasses.Thank you all so much for helping to make my eye glass purchase a positive experience. ❤️
Had a great experience here! The doctor was very thorough and nice and the guy working there helped me pick out glasses and helped figure out how to best apply my insurance to my glasses/contacts. Will definitely come back and refer family/friends here!
Great experience from start to finish. This place is top notch in their expertise with helping you get the right glasses, helping to make sure the fit is to your comfort ( Ive had to go back many times and they are so nice about it) and the customer service is amazing. I wont go anywhere else now for glasses.
The staff there were really nice and helpful. They fixed my glasses for free. Their place is neat and tidy. Its easy to find something you want there. I recommend this place to anyone who needs their glasses fixed or an appointment!
Great Optometrist, but the purchasing experience has been absolutely horrible. When I made the $300 purchase, I was told it would take a week to get my order in, and about 30 minutes in the store when I pick then up to install the lenses in the frames I already own. One week goes by, and I hear nothing. Another week goes by, still no word from them. So I give them a call to find out whats going on. Well they had no update on the glasses, but the sunglasses had just come in and they were wrong so they had to send them back. They told me they should have them back in a couple of days. Another week goes by with no update. So I have to call them again. This time they inform me they were wrong about the time, it would still be a couple more days before the sunglasses arrive, and that they would need to find another supplier for my glasses lenses because they are on back order... Why wasnt that ever communicated and why did it take three weeks of me calling for them to figure that out? They finally call me about my sunglasses, those turned out ok in the end. Another couple of days go by and they call me again leaving no message. I assume its about my glasses so I go in today (Saturday) to pick them up, and Im informed they cant do anything with them until Monday. So here I am, a month, three phone calls, and three visits into this ordeal and I still dont have the product I paid $300 for. Whenever they finally hand over my merchandise will be the last visit my wife or I make to this location.
Great staff!!!
Such friendly and helpful people. They really took their time to help me pick out the perfect frames and answered all my questions. The place is super clean which is also a huge plus. Will be returning again and will recommend to all my friends and family.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this establishment and the amazing staff. They went above and beyond for my 3 year old. They didnt carry frames small enough for her, but they had SO much fun shopping online for the perfect fit for her. We ordered 2 pairs from them, and we have been back for adjustments without issue. They even adjusted a pair of mine that I did not purchase from them, because I had a really bad experience at the store in originally purchased mine from. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Pearl in Glassboro to anyone I know. They were beyond accommodating to my rambunctious 3 and 5 year old when we came in. I loved the service and the people. It felt so much like family.
Ive gone here for two years now, and I have no complaints. The staff is helpful, and the last doctor I had for my check-up was great. She answered all my questions patiently and could not have been more friendly and down to earth. This differs from the arrogance which is sometimes encountered when dealing with other doctors of various disciplines. All the patients and staff always make small talk, not extremely common in the state of NJ, where many choose to keep to themselves.I got a really great pair of designer glasses here. They will also include a case and cleaning cloth, protecting them with the case most of the time, I had no problems maintaining the structural integrity of the glasses. They will tighten them up for free if you bring them in, too! Try them out!
Pearle Vision in Glassboro is second to none! Not only are the doctors wonderful and efficient, but so are the new owners. I would without a doubt recommend friends and family to come in for their eye exam. They take insurance and try to get you the best deal that you can get.
I hate this place, I was convinced by the seller to take the glasses a little loose, when I got home I realized they were ridiculous so I decided to go back and change, the seller said he could adjust, I let him adjust, but the glasses were all crooked and I said he would like to change but he said he could not because the glasses had been modified. I paid $ 600.00. they are incompetent
I broke my glasses the other night. I checked on Groupon for any good deals, because I dont have insurance for vision. Groupon had a great deal, and I was able to make an appointment for an eye exam quickly. The staff here were top notch. I was helped personally by the owner and his wife. Dont think of Pearle Vision being big business. This is a family owned and operated store, and they do a great job of making you feel welcome and appreciated as a customer. When you need glasses, come to the Pearle Vision in Glassboro.
I recently went to Pearl Vision in Glassboro, NJ. for an eye exam. I was told I had a slight distance issue, but reading was the main reason I need glasses. That was something I already knew and honestly all I wanted. The salesman was very persistent about getting bi-focals. I did not want them, but he assured me I would love them and of course, if I didnt like them, they would switch out the lenses for me to straight readers. I had nothing to lose. When the glasses came in, I could not see the computer at work without tilting my head way back, which was very uncomfortable. The distahince was very hard to tell a difference with. I stopped in after the week trial to have them swapped to the readers that I originally wanted. They said no problem, however, after some thought I realized the lenses they talked me into were not covered under my insurance plan. The lenses and frames I picked were supposed to be free. I have excellent coverage through Lowes. I kept asking cost as we discussed everything, but he was very vague throughout the whole interaction. Long story short, I felt pressured to try the bifocals with nothing to lose. However, I did lose, because it was never mentioned that there was not a cost adjustment for going back to the lenses I wanted. Had I known that, I never would have given the bifocals a try. I feel that facts were left out intentionally to upgrade me for increased sales dollars. I have been in retail management for over 30 years and have always been upfront with my customers. They are always given all the facts, options, benefits, and consequences. This was my first visit for any kind of eye exam. I had no idea what to expect. I trusted the sales person, which was my first mistake, second I should have demanded to see $$ before ordering anything, the differences between the two lenses. The only thing that would make this right for me is to be refunded the cost difference between the two lenses. At this point, I would not recommend Pearle Vision in Glassboro, NJ to anyone.Follow-up: they swapped out the lenses for me with no price adjustment offered.
Prices were double what i found at most other retailers. No 1 year warranty included with purchase of glasses like other retailers, you have to purchase it. My glasses broke within 2 mos of purchase and i would rather buy all new frames then go back to Pearle. Service was terrible. Took 1 month to receive glasses. Do yourself a favor and dont use Pearle. Eapecially on rt 47 in Glassboro
They fixed my glasses free of charge. Where other companies would probably charge me like ten bucks for the fix.
