Visited for the first time yesterday looking for some singles to throw in a deck. It was Friday, early in the evening, and it was pretty busy. Lots of people were up at the counter browsing the cases and asking for singles as well. There were at least 4 people behind the counter helping out and they got to me very quickly. I gave the guy my list, which just consisted of card names and nothing else, all from various mtg sets and differing rarities. He went and grabbed all of them in a couple minutes and then gave me a price. The total was right in line with tcg pricing - possibly a bit cheaper. Plus I didn’t have to pay for shipping and wait. I was super happy with the experience and will be back! Highly recommended!

Their prices for singles are great, and the employees were friendly. But thats about it. I wouldnt recommend selling your cards here if you want a good return as even with store credit youll get like 20-40% of your worth (make sure you sleeved what youre selling in regular penny sleeves as they wont give you back your sleeves). Also, be very, very attentive and inspect carefully when you buy your singles before you finalize as they charge near mint prices even if the card has blemishes that could downgrade it to Lightly - Moderately Played pricing (pics provided, much more noticeable in person). I was willing to deal with the poor trade-in value because I get it, they have to make money somehow, until I was sold iffy quality cards with my store credit.

Great place for singles or playing games. Plenty of tables and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Usually we go for MTG but they support several trading card games.

The staff is always wonderful to work with. They sell Pokemon, YuGiOh, Flesh and Blood, and (of course) Magic the Gathering. They have plenty of singles as well as sealed product. There are events almost daily, with larger events nearly every Saturday. If you need a list of cards, you can easily send in an email or message on Facebook and the cards can be set aside for you before you even get to the store. Easily my favorite game store in Maryland.

Perfect place to buy individual Pokémon cards needed to complete series! They are super organized and know their instock very well! Our friend bought a ton of cards he needed!

Staff is amazing, the location us tucked away but once you walk inside its like your in a nerdy heaven. Super friendly if you have any questions they will answer then or find the answer for you. If you need a place to buy cards this is the place to go!

This place is SCALPER CENTRAL! They charge 3 times the MSRP for new releases like Shining Fates products and lie about the retail value just to make more money. I should know I’m a certified reseller. This place will be out of business soon.

They have ok customer service. Their MTG singles are Heavily Played yet they charge the Near Mint price. I figured it was a one time thing however it seems that everytime I but from them they are beaten up cards for brand new price. However they do have since real old sealed product dating back to 1993 (Beta Edition and Revised Edition) though. So only buy sealed product. Buy all youre single products online or at Games and Stuff 5 minutes down the [same] road. Also dont sell cards to them. Games and stuff offers 60% of card value in cash and 75% in in-store credit. MTG First offers 35% cash and 40% store credit. But they are with selling pokemon cards to (they dont know anything about pokemons values). I sold them a card for $110 when the card was only selling for $35 on TCG player and other similar websites. So only buy sealed product and only sell pokemon cards with/to them! Nothing else! Go to ANY OTHER card store for the rest!

This place is great, with one exception. Ill start off by saying that the majority of the employees here are extremely friendly and helpful. They are also very knowledgeable in the tcg realm, and will help you whether you are a new or experienced player. They have one of the largest selections of singles for mtg, pokemon, and especially yu-gi-oh. Their single card prices are typically in line with whatever tcgplayer has as market value. On to the not so good. Sealed product is pretty expensive, especially for pokemon. I understand that their is a market value for sealed product, yet there are several other hobby/game shops between Baltimore and Annapolis that charge no more that $10 over retail. Blaming scalpers for rising prices, yet pricing product for 2x retail seems pretty hypocritical. You cant say you care for your community and then turn around and take advantage of them. If your desperate and dont mind the prices, I would still purchase from this shop over online sellers.

Best card place in Baltimore, MD area. If your getting back into the game, need practice, or want somewhere fun to hang out, this is one of the very few places left to do any of that.

Not happy that the Pokémon cards are $2 more a pack then everywhere else. If you want a booster box it is $175 vs year before last when I pay $100 a box and $3 a pack. I get the Pokémon cards are super popular now but no need for price gouging. When I asked if the shop has started their rewards program back up and the super friendly gentleman at the counter was about to tell me they might have one and the lady sitting behind the counter proceeded to go on and on about how someone that works there said it was a decision between lowest prices and a rewards program and how the stores that have rewards program make their prices higher. She repeated it again after I make a purchase and was looking at cards. Making me feel uncomfortable because I knew this wasn’t true looking at the prices now. I will not shop at this store for Pokémon cards anymore sadly because I use to shop here over the competing store down the road because the prices USE TO BE WAY better but now the spot I use to love so much and shop frequently before the pandemic hit and my boyfriend would go to play magic is over charging sadly they were the only spot in Glen Burnie that had any cards but for that price I see why....lower the prices and I’ll be back. 😭😭

Great shop for picking up mtg cards. Picked up a whole commander deck and modern deck and they had every card I wanted. Usually plenty of people to playtest with too.

I honestly wish there was an option for more stars as 5 isnt enough. There is nothing thos shop wont do for you ad a player or a customer. Events are awesome and the community is great. The shoe will cater to you, put a list together, pull singles and whatever else you need. The guys are approachable and easy to talk too. 100 percent drive 30 minutes more out of my way just to spend my money here. FYI its money well spent.

It would be great if they carried more than the last 8 magic the gathering packs, the older store had a much larger selection of booster sets from the older blocks, you basically have to buy the better/expensive cards from the older sets. They are more towards catering for theyre online store now, they do have some decent cards but come on when they were in the first 2- 3 years of starting the selection was enormous, anything you wanted or needed they had it. And as a collector the condition of the cards is the most important aspect of buying and selling cards. . . . As we all know the higher condition the better resale value and collector value for grading. Not a bad place but they could be so much better If they just took a little extra time and stepped up theyre GAME!! in conclusion A nice place to go but lets step it up a few notches guys!!

As a young female, I faced a bit of discrimination at many card stores. They would try to sell me lightly played cards for near mint pricing or even turn me away from the rare cards section because they didnt think I would buy.But not here.Cards and supplies were fairly priced for condition and the staff was knowledgeable. And on top of that, they offer bundle discounts if you buy in bulk. Ive been to many card shops in Maryland and New York and and this one is by far my favorite!This particular visit, Curt helped me finish most of my collection at a fair price. He was patient and helped me for over two hours. At the end he broke down the prices and gave me an overall bundle discount. $$$ well spent for the cards and experience because I definitely left with a smile on my face.

Nice, large gaming area focused completely on TCG style games. They offer decent percentages for singles. The only downside was that the building smelled slightly of mold/ mildew.

Just found this hidden gem for Pokemon cards. They also have MTG and others. They have a tournament every Wednesday at 6pm you can watch or join. Staff is very very helpful and knowledgeable of products. I chose this place overall to bring my 6yr old daughter back to cuz we both just love it!

Great place to go for your card game fun. They have a wide selection of singles branching all current card games and their tournaments are run extremely smooth. Any place that has a framed power 9 at the entrance is worth going to!

I found this card shop to be gigantic compared to most card shops i have been to. The staff were okay but not rude when asked them questions. One of the best things they had was the large play area for many people to play at. Parking was also good as well.

Honestly now my favorite card shop. Organized, clean, well priced, and with a decent collection of oddities. I dont think theyve ever been missing a card I needed. Jasons done great things with his store over the years.

It is a nice little card shop, but don’t buy Pokémon boosters from here..the suppliers have seemed to repack the collection boxes and always get green code cards. Never a fun experience

Came here for my groups dnd session. They have a really great layout and atmosphere thats really conducive to a great campaign. They also offer snacks and beverages at a low price so you dont even have to go anywhere if you get hungry or thirsty mid-session.

An good store for collectible card games with friendly and knowledgeable staff. While their range of products is limited (they dont sell board games, miniatures, etc.), they are very good in their target market of card games.

So I went there the day this store opened,which was the day before yesterday 5/1/2019, and had a good experience. I also went there yesterday, 5/2/2019, and had probably the best experience I could have ever possibly had at a store. I dealt with Josh, who later told me to refer to him as Pojo, and he made me, and my girlfriend whos new to the hobby, feel not only welcomed but made us feel as though we were friends he never made her seem inferior for not knowing certain things, which has been a problem at other stores, he was just a great person to deal with and I am currently telling every nerd I know to make this their main store because of him I know this nerd will be going here from now on. That you for the amazing experience you just gained a very loyal customer because of Pojo.

As a new player to Magic its hard to get into, hard to ask questions without feeling like your wasting someones time, but not at this place. I couldnt remember his name but he was very helpful and answered all our questions without making my brother and I feel shunned because we are new. We left feeling great and will be back in soon, what a great experience, cant say that about a lot of places.

Generally good environment, the folks who work there know what theyre doing, but the players who attend are slightly more on the spike side of things regardless of format. Just be warned is all.

As the name implies this store first and foremost deals with supporting magic the gathering events, singles sales, sealed product, and accessories. And they do a fantastic job of it. The store owner, Jason, is very friendly as well as all the supporting managers and staff. Dispite living about 20 miles away I find myself playing games and buying cards here at least once every week. Modern, Legacy, casual commander, and cEDH events are very well attended and supported with in-store credit. In-store credit can be redeemed to buy multiformat staples at competitive pricing (TCG light play most of the time) or any sealed product from standard and recent supplemental products such as masters sets. Not to mention the slew of sleeves, playmat, tubes, and deckboxes available from ultimate guard to ultra pro to dragon shields. The player base is for the most part very friendly and helpful a couple of bad eggs here and there but generally kind and a joy to play with. I cant speak for Yu-Gi-Oh or Pokemon players but if you are in the area and looking for a magic store even for just a weekend visit, this location is for sure worth stopping by.
