I never thought Id be typing up what Im about to type, so buckle up because youre in for a wild ride.Ive never been a real big fan of Slackers Music Movies Games and it mostly had to do with customer experience a long time ago. That, and the prices on some of the games they had on offer were a bit high in price. However, I will say the prices now are mostly reasonable and they have things that I would have to order online otherwise. And they treat my sons very well when they come in with me.

Loved the atmosphere. We had an issue arise but we brought back our console and it was resolved seamlessly. Would definitely keep coming here. Staff was helpful.

They are alright with the selection they have but the stock never moves or changes and they do not test the vintage games. I have bought defective games from them multiple times, which they will only offer you store credit as a refund. Have them test your games before you buy.

We take DVD and blue rays in for store credit and get new in the package DC action figures and Marvel action figures. They have some cool things. Its small but the people are nice.

I was looking for one of 4 different games. Unfortunately, they do not keep an inventory of the games in their store. I ended up going through every game they had, only to find out they didnt have anything I was looking for. The staff was very friendly and willing to help. The prices are comparable.

The prices arent anything to brag about. They also are extremely picky on what games and accessories they will buy from you. The building is dimly lit and not very organized. I personally wont plan on shopping here but you can make your own opinion. Its not worth the stop to me.

Slackers saw the turmoil facing Gamestop today years ago and took steps to correct course. In this store that shows. I always wanted to work here and still really enjoy the atmosphere. Slackers is more than just a used game and nerd merch store. THIS slackers is much much more. This Slackers is the best music store in town, they participate in free comic book day, have had local authors and artists on staff and they actively participate and help fund community events.If you want to know more about MTG, local music, comic story arcs, the latest in AAA gaming or a very specific new artist, this is the place to go. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and the space is well housekept.In addition Slackers buys older games, movies, comics, figurines and tv shows and pays out at prices fairer than most pawn shops.Bottom line - if you prefer an in person shopping experience or want to immerse yourself in culture Slackers in Glen Carbon is the place for you.

I went in to buy my children and game and shown by a coworker that this video game that I had purchased was going to work on our system. Unfortunately whenever we got home the video game was not compatible with our system. I’m so upset I wanted my money back but unfortunately I was told I had to have in store credit Even though I was unhappy with the service I was given.

I have been a regular for over a decade and NEVER have got treated so badly first of all they cant get release dates right one of my games witch comes out on the 9th they said comes put on the 30th so thats fishy and so I wanted to cancel my preorders ao.i could get something else with my trade or IF the games came in Id still buy them then the chick and the guy that was there October 2nd about 4 pm this happend they gave me a attitude and was like we will cancel just this one time but after this we wont allow anymore cancels a and their reason was and I quote Its too much work Your getting paid to do this thats why its called a JOB ITS WORK dont like it work else where and finally the cherry on top a ps4 pre owned controller I bought THEY SAID and I quote we tested multiple times bull I tested and had someone else tested on a MACHINE the left joy stick I BROKEN so they lied straight to my face IM NOT HAPPY AND FOR ME THATS 45 BUCKS DOWN THE DRAIN I WONT EVER GET BACK THATS THE PRICE OF A NEW GAME its no wonder slackers is doing so bad Im surprised theyre not out of business yet

I like going to slackers because they have music CDs in just about every else thing you can think of in the entertainment genre the only thing wrong is they had too many good CDs stuff I really wanted so I spent too much money because they had really good prices I would be going to the storm or if it was closer to my house

I like to shop their used compact discs and PS2 games.

Classic games are priced a little above places like ebay, but if you need it, its a great place, employees are nice and pretty knowledgeable

It has a good selection of DVDs, Blu-Ray disks, Games, CDs, Comics, etc. Be careful. If you have kids and find something you want as well, it can get expensive.
