TLDR: Great store, friendly people. Staff makes it accesible for all levels of brewers. I will be backLet me first preface this review by saying this is the first google review Ive given for anything. I seldom leave a store so grateful for its existence, but that is the only way I can describe the experience Ive had today.It was late after work and I was traveling back to Long Island excited to make a great batch of home brew. I got really f-ing pissed when I recalled that I had left my hops and yeast in my fridge in NYC. I did a quick google search and found this place, but I was 20 minutes away and they closed in 10. I gave them a quick call and a friendly voice on the other end said No worries man, Ill be here.So I arrived as quickly as I could but was worried that their hops selection might not be broad enough (I was using a very diverse recipe that involved 8 different hops). When I got there, the on duty manager was able to direct me around to 7 of the 8 hops on my recipe and suggest a viable substitute for my 8th bag. In addition to this, he was patient and intelligent; giving me the time to absorb the information for myself.The store cant be beat, its bright and inviting, and the second you walk in the grains lull you into your very own personal home-brew fantasy. Its obviously quite new, but it really carries the atmosphere youd like when youre shopping for your next batch of homebrew.Anyways this was a long winded, poorly structured recounting of my experience today, but I just wanted to let anyone know that if youre looking to get into homebrew, or youre a seasoned veteran, definitely swing by this joint, its an A+ in my book.
