I would have given it a two but Im feeling generous this morning. The new design if the place will take getting use to...still. the food selections is generic. Meats I would get somewhere else, veggies are pretty good, a but over priced though.They play this recording over the intercom reminding you that we are still in these troubled times and trying to convince us what is safe. It seems like either propaganda or indoctrinations you choose.

This is my local grocery store and I’m here frequently. I love coming here! I’m always in and out pretty quickly & items are always super easy to find!

Big store with a nice selection of products. Items are reasonably priced. Ample parking. The deli department is understaffed resulting in long lines but if you use the kiosk to order you will be fine. My only complaint is that the isles are constantly blocked by employees restocking shelves. This should be done overnight to avoid congestion. Sometimes it is so bad that you have to turn around without passing. Update 01/26/20, numerous isles are still blocked. No action taken. See photos.

The personnel are kind and helpful. The Customer Service staff are cooperative and considerate.

I could care less about your new look. The deli counter has taken up too much space and there is no longer a health foods section so I rarely shop in Glen Cove and have found other stores in the area. Previously the Glen Cove store was my first choice. I prefer the S&S in Greenvale but since it’s far from my Sea Cliff home I shop there infrequently.

I asked a worker a pretty specific question (do they have Fresca) and they ended up walking me to the aisle, to the exact location of where it was. This may not seem like a big deal, but when I ask someone at different grocery stores, I’ll get an answer “check aisle 19 or 20”

Fresh produce a lot of meat on sale and first a of all service is excellent

Have been coming here for many years. Large, clean grocery store. Nice produce section, seafood stand and cheese counter. Theres a butcher as well. Very nice organic section as well.

Clean store, great variety of high quality products, two employees were singing duet as they stocked shelves, happy I stopped in tonight.

Fine service, AND Fair Prices

Under going renovation, the store has new configurations and new produce and refrigerator sections. The staff is busy with shelf re-set and still have time to help. This much needed renovation will be amazing. The store and customers will benefit.

The place is really nice and the staff is really helpful.

Good Supermarket. Ive been going here for years, the selection is the best in the area for sure. It can get busy but once you know the slow times, youre in and out quickly.

Decent supermarket. Some issues with produce (visibly bad items left out) but otherwise good selection and quality. Staff friendly helpful and easy to find and they don’t have long lines which is nice. Before the pandemic they were great (4 star) aside from that one little issue - However now several employees who work evenings do not wear their masks right, they have them pulled down to expose their mouth and nose, and one older blonde employee didn’t even have one on at all while working. Please wear masks properly at all times! If these two issues could be resolved this place would be great, they’re definitely one of the best at keeping shelves stocked and adequate staffing during the pandemic.

Well I did stop and I did shop. What a terrific store name. One complaint thou, the pistachios were hard and not too good. Considering the many goods twas not a bad review. 1 outta multitudes isnt bad at all.

Horrible experience!! This lady was very nasty with me and my mother. She was scanning the items and throwing the items in front of me. This is not the first time. My mother told me that last time the same cashier was very nasty with her and my father!!!If you not happy with you job then what are you working in here!! I really felt very intimidare by her! Fast and easy

Stop&Shop had frozen Turkey breast roast for ..99 per pound, 3 days only Friday, Saturday & Sunday limit 2 per personWent there today(sunday) they had none left and no rain checks available.I left my cart with a few non perishablesAnd did not purchase anything

RegEnjoy my experiences here, always in and out regardless of the lines, they go quickly. The exception is the evening time. They will have one long snack line rather than open up another register to knock out the line. They could even possible pull people off the line with 8 or less items, and ring them up at courtesy desk, anything to get the line down and the people out the store. Love the store I always find what Im looking for.

This is a very large Supermarket as Im sure a lot of people know or have heard of. The produce section also shares some space for organic fruits and vegetables. The prices are reasonable and the sales are good if you catch them on time should have a larger customer service has he is almost always a long line I customer service. Its located in a shopping mall where there is also a Rite-Aid a Subway a Spanish Colombian restaurant a sushi restaurant a nail place Chase Manhattan Bank Carvel the Chinese restaurant that a very very large parking area.

Very nice people and good people

The reason I like Stop & Shop is because they have a no-questions-asked return policy. Theres always parking in the parking lot. The surrounding businesses are a very convenient. And I happen to like the reduced rack they have in the back. PS Stop & Shop Fried Chicken over by the deli better than KFC and Popeyes. And much cheaper, I believe you get eight pieces for $6.99 basically the whole bird.

Most staff extremely helpful and friendly. Unfortunately Sharnise lacks basic skills when dealing with customers. Perhaps she needs a class in basic manners such as please and thank you...otherwise consider a career not interacting with the public.

Too expensive worse than King Kullen

Just bought a jar of herring in cream sauce, got home went to open it, it was spoiled, open and moldy. They wouldnt exchange it. I understand the issue with the virus going around but selling rotten food is just un exceptable. I would not recommend anyone shop at this stop and shop or any other one until this epidemic is over and they can restock with fresh unspoiled and unopened food but then again Im not sure if that would even make a difference.

I really like this store. I love the produce and seafood departments. The store is always clean and stocked. I would like to single out two outstanding employees Patricia at the Courtesy desk and James who usually works at the register . They are very professional and nice to deal with.I also find the prices at this store are the best of all their competitors.

The groceries are fresh and of good quality, especially in the veggies and fruits section. The staff is very friendly and always at your disposal.

Great prices and can’t really beat shopping here mid day during the week on my day off!

Only down fall about this food store is there brand of Milk will go bad weeks before the due date. They will gladly switch it out with something new and fresh but they need to fix the problem and stop lying about the good by dates just to get people to buy it. Very inconvenient.

Great store. Its clean, the employees are so willing to help you out if you cant find what youre looking for. I actually like going there for my everyday household stuff.

Inconsistent quality and cleanliness. The store was filthy last trip. No rotisserie chicken hot or cold. Friendly cashiers. Bree was refreshingly helpful and made my visit enjoyable.

Stop and Shop in Glen Cove recently re-arranged the layout of the store. There is now a whole healthy section separate from the rest of the store. It does make it a lot easier to find things if that is the sort of thing you are looking for. Definitely better than it used to be.

Store was a bit busier than desired. Found most everything on our list, used digital coupons for first time. A, Okay! Is it me, or are groceries getting crazy expensive?

They renovated the store and it is clean and neat. The customer service desk has very friendly people. The produce dept is great always fresh.

A fine shopping experience with lots of options and friendly staff. Clean store, excellent staff and a great deli. Has its own organic section and indie beer selection along with a great bakery. Huge selection of milk and dairy and the entire store is very open compared to other stores.

I would say five stars, flooded with all kinds of stuff. Usually I used to go to Wheatley plaza branch, but this one is significantly ahead than Wheatley plaza stop and shop. I like it and will coming.

Good store and good prices. But Stop n Shop needs to open more registers when its busy. So frustrating to be waiting in a massively long line and seeing half the registers closed. Ive literally walked in and walked out knowing my wait on line would be longer than th time it took to shop! Fix this and youd get another 🌟

My favourite store to shop, yes that simple when you shop stop by customer service or just wave and say hi/hello its a nice thing to do.

I love the people who work here. Great prices. Decent selection of organic veges and prepackaged stuff w its own section near the produce. Nice amount of nutrition bars too. Some uncured ham and hotdogs near produce too. Nice International isle. Small amount of Atkins products on the way to freezer section. Theyve recently gotten rid of frozen atkins meals, shame. I didnt see any sugar free things in the bakery, but they have a selection of packaged sugar free cookies in the cookie isle. You can pay by check if you accidentally leave all your cards and cash home, like me 😒
