New owners, the place looks clean, smells clean, very nice service, I am totally giving my business to new businesses that need to grow, very warm people, compare to impolite, kaki by stop & shop, some people just dont appreciate the business so I take it to the wine basket

So I came into the liquor store 8/3/18 in the evening around 8-8:45, purchased a caramel stoli from James a friendly guy and went on my way, I returned the next day 8/4/18 to return the bottle because it wasn’t used, so in the same perfect condition I returned the bottle and he told me that it was against the law to take back liquor back to the store where it was sold from according to New York State Liquor Authority, So I looked it up online and found out that “, at their discretion, exchange or refund unopened returns from their customers.” so I brought that up to him and he looked annoyed and kind of a loss for words, he knew the bottle was in great condition but chose not to take it because he said you never know what could’ve been on the bottle, however he was willing to exchange it, so it had nothing to do with the bottle being off premises but more about the fact that he didn’t want to lose money, I brought that up to him and he agreed and did not refund me the money for the unused bottle. James is a friendly guy but the way he does business is profits over people and a lack of honesty towards his customers.

Great selection of high end wines! Great suggestions too! They have bottles of Opus One! Call and ask about it!
