The absolute best candy store I’ve ever been to. I go there all the time with my friends. They have an amazing selection and the nicest workers. If anyone ever passes by it I recommend dropping in! You won’t regret it!

Probably my favorite store in downtown Glen Ellyn. The dark chocolate covered peanuts just scream my name anytime I am in the area. Ooohhh! They are so good! I love the variety of candies and the nostalgia of the store. It is so cute. It is always a “must stop” place when we have visitors in town. The lady that runs the shop is incredibly “sweet” herself. My daughter really had her eye on a purple t-shirt from their store for Christmas, but it was the wrong size. Even though Christmas was right around the corner, she placed an order for us and got it in just in time. They also do a fantastic job of making up the cutest custom treat bags for any occasion.

Disappointed took my disabled mother all the way over here. Just to see a closed sign.

Love this place, family goodness and I love that they hire young residents which is good for the town and also teaches them a sense of community.

Read some other reviews and I must say I have been thoroughly impressed with Glen Ellyn Sweet Shoppe since discovering it a few months ago. Lots of variety and candies I remember as a kid in the 80s. There are dozens of bins where you can buy bulk by the pound. This includes Jelly Belly jellybeans. They have all my favorite flavors (have 20+).Definitely worth checking out for nostalgic candy trips and the occasional reward for your kiddies or grandkids!
