After reviewing four highly recommended companies that were the top Pella contractors for the Chicago area, I decided to use Mari Windows and Doors, and it was a great decision to do so!Dan and his guys took a tricky window replacement project and made it look easy! He was professional, neat, courteous and finished ahead of schedule. Once this guy installs your windows, you are dead to him. Never followed up on an issue that I had the day after the windows were installed. Also left messages for a different problem and a simple phone call with a yes or no would have done the trick. But he could not even be bothered to return the call. Needs to change the voicemail message he has stating, I will be sure to get back to you. As that is a lie. I guess he is selective as to who rates to get a response back. I highly recommend that you use Illinois Sash instead. I gave them a call and although they cannot really help me with my issue, because they did not install my windows, they were kind enough to offer some advice and recommendations. And they have someone who answers the phone.

LOVE our new windows and doors - they truly transformed our new home from one that was dated + not very exciting to a beautifully elegant property. The windows and doors really made a material difference + the service we received was top notch. Thank you Dan!

Mari Window and it’s owner Dan Ottenhoff and his staff of workers did our entire 3 BR Condo Hi Rise window and atrium door replacement. Aside from being one of the most gracious and easiest persons in the world to work with, his entire staff of workers are also lovely, very skilled and all professional. They are careful and clean and totally stand behind their work. When one of the workers accidentally broke an expensive decorative piece he immediately offered to pay for it, no questions asked. When I heard a slight “wind” thru our atrium door that evening he immediately returned the very next AM to fix it and during a recent Chicago storm and tornado you could have heard a pin drop in our condo. He had a drop of touch up work after finishing Pre Covid and just yesterday, he graciously returned and finished these few leftover minor items ( even though he is smack in the middle of a 400 window replacement job at Loyola University) to complete his work. There is not anyone we could more highly recommend as a human being or being a pro at his job. He is a complete honest professional and pleasure to work with!Dr. Jerry and Carol Silverman

Dan does not value the customer. Started a project with deposit in december, finally completed in May. There was a problem with ordering, when I asked Dan about it, he lied about what happened. Never came back to do touch ups, I gave up after 2 months of asking.
