Knickers Casual Mens Attire & Accessories on Lighthouse Road on Hilton Head Island is a great place to go for all things quality mens clothing in one location. I really like their selection of different brands here and was able to find exactly what I was looking for. Happy with all of the purchases that I have made from here.

Will never shop here again. My husband and I walked in and were so closely followed by one of the girls working there. I was carrying a Tory Burch purse and wearing multiple David Yurman bracelets, while my husband was dressed head to toe in Tommy Bahama. It made us feel as though she was watching to see if we would steal anything, which made us very uncomfortable. We went in with the intent to buy some new Peter Millar shorts for my husband, but almost immediately my husband told me he wouldn’t be buying anything because of how uncomfortable she was making him. People working there need to be aware of that, because they ultimately lost what would’ve been a good sell.

I’ve been going to Hilton Head for years and I’ve been here a couple times, I’ve bought vineyard vines swim trunks, khakis, shirt and a T shirt from vineyard vines and most recently a southern tide shirt. I found the staff adequate this year and from my previous experiences they were nice. The sale section is usually great. However this year I was a little disappointed in the fact the shop no longer sold ties and sold a lot more, golf (athletic) fabric items, all of the khakis had jean pockets which I didn’t like. And the t shirt selection not as much to my liking as previous. was I miss when the store had more “traditional” items. The swim trunk selection is now better though.

I have been coming back to this store for over 6 years every summer. The selection is always great. They are always adding new styles and brands to keep up with the times. Jock is extremely knowledgeable and helps you find the perfect items to add to your wardrobe. I HIGHLY recommend you check them out!

Went in just to browse and ended up chatting with Jock, the owner. He was very polite and easy going. I ended up getting a pair of Sperrys and Jock threw in a coozie and bottle opener and face/body wash samples for free! He took the time to talk to me and my wife about our trip and recommended some good places to check out. We will be back for sure! Great service! And great store!

The owner is shady and rude. I went in today, and the owner asked if I knew about the sale. I said no, and he went on to tell me everything that wasnt a new arrival was 30% off and on top of that I would get to pull an additional 20-40% off out of a fish bowl at the register. I picked something out from one of the sections he pointed out, tried on the item and loved it. The item had two sale stickers on it, one saying 30% the other saying 40%. So I took the $85 item to the register and the man rang up it up and said, thatll be $63. I asked, do I get to pull out of the fish bowl? He said, no not for that item, but it is 30% off. I assumed this was because it should have been 40% so I was like....ok but the tag said 40% not 30%. He said, but I told you 30% didnt I? Completely unnecessary attitude. Then he said someone marked it wrong. So its 30% off everything else in the store except new arrivals but for some reason, this specific item doesnt get a fish bowl pull. At this point I was flustered. But I paid for it anyway. 15 minutes later, Im walking around the shops and I decide I didnt want the item anymore. I bring it back and request a return. He tells me sale items can only be exchanged and not returned and points to the bottom of the receipt. Ok..... How am I supposed to know that before I buy it? He didnt warn me of this beforehand and this is not a normal policy. Just a ridiculous and agitating experience with a completely rude owner.

I visited this store on my vacation, and I am extremely disgusted by how I was treated. I felt discriminated against based on my athletic attire. They incorrectly assumed that I could not afford a single item in their store. However, I was shopping for my professional baseball player boyfriend. Run- do NOT walk to another men’s dress store!! Spare yourself from experiencing the owners’ piss-poor attitudes. Shoppers deserve respect-even on vacation. #bekind #donotshophere

I have been shopping this store for years and have always found great quality of clothes and every size available which most stores dont have. I have always found employees very helpful.

My nephew who picked up a Smitherson and Branson item had one fall on the other side of the counter and the older gentleman employed thought it would be appropriate to stare down a 12 year old and then talked about him right in front of me. My nephew has major respect for people and thought it would have been HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE to reach across and behind his counter to grab the item that fell. With my family being the only one in the store on a highly busy day at Sea Pines you think you would be a little more respectful to potential customers. If I could rate this place negative I would. We were also scolded by the angry man for looking at shirts and him having to refold them which I’m suspecting this employee gets paid to WORK at this store. I’m also guessing it is extremely upsetting to have to go to work while being so close to the beach but don’t take that out on children. That is borderline psychotic.

You know I really wish there was an option to give 0 zero stars. Because this establishment is completely and utterly awful. The man working there was extremely rude to me and my entire family including my mother and grandmother. He was sulking around the entire time and threw a fit and released curses everytime he had to refold a shirt. I will never return to this store again it was a sickening experience to say the least. I have never in my life had such bad customer service. Not to mention their inventory had no size variety; so when I didnt make a purchase because of this he again said Jesus Christ! I WOULD STRONGLY URGE ANYONE THINKING OF TAKING THEIR BUISNESS TO THIS STORE TO RECONSIDER.
