This was my first big move and first time using any Storage Facility. When I called this Storage in Glen Ellyn for rates, the storage rep Kim was very professional, patient, and understanding. I only needed a unit for at most a month and wasnt looking to spend too much for it. Prior to the call, I had researched the size of storage I needed to fit all my furniture/items. I mentioned this to Kim and she asked more questioned to make sure I got the best storage to fit my items and budget. In the end, she found a storage that was bigger than I had planned and the first month rent was free. I only had to pay taxes and fees. In addition, I was given a tour before move in of the facility/unit to avoid any confusion. Overall, I was very grateful and satisfied with my experience thanks to Kim. You should definitely ask for her when calling this location..

Kim S. was very accommodating when I visited the facility. Later the same day, my wife and I went back and signed a lease to rent an outdoor space for our RV trailer. Our one month experience so far has been positive and we highly recommend this storage facility. Michelle, the manager, and Kim are friendly and likeable folks.

Michelle and Kim are great. Theyve been super helpful when Ive needed anything. I had trouble with my lock and Kim met me at my unit to help me fix it. The facility is also kept super clean. Get a storage unit on the 1st floor --you can use their inside loading dock area to park your car and move/remove things from your storage space while keeping out of the rain or snow!

Kim and Michelle always try to be as accommodating as possible. We just moved into the space and they deliver packages that arrived straight into our storage space. Whenever we have an issue or have to use dumpster space, they always are there to help.

Fantastic and attentive staff. Excellent facility. Always so clean and well-maintained. I toured a few other facilities. There is a little bit of a premium for the indoor, climate controlled space but I found their rates are competitive for the area. Ive been here a year and will be renewing again. Five stars!

My experience at Extra Space in Glen Ellyn has been very good. I recently removed several items from my storage unit and set them in the adjacent hall. I then secured the unit, loaded my vehicle and returned to my home, where I realized that I had forgotten to load my bike. I immediately called Kim at Extra Space who brought the bike to the front desk. Where I left the bike was a long way from the front desk. Furthermore, a helmet, waist pack and bike rack had been left with the bike, all of which Kim retrieved for me. Thank you Kim and Extra Space!

Easy set up and access. Carts at everything entrance for unloading. Kim was there when we arrived, she was very helpful, got us a cart and checked in on us to make sure all was going well while we unloaded.

Beware of price gouging. We were customers for over a year. They raised our price from$128 to $205 a month because they said demand was high. They do not value their customers. Beware to all who rent here!

I rent unit 1151. I get 2-3 rate increase notices a year. I started renting 3 years ago for $60/month for a small unit. The increases have now gone up to $107/month. This is absolutely absurd. The only reason this place has good reviews is they pressure customers into leaving a 5 star review on site while you are signing your contract. This is bad business practice. Hope the increase was worth losing a customer over and earning a bad review.

My first ever renting a storage unit and it was super easy since the website has lots of information. Love the fact that it gives an idea of how much items can fit in there. Now when I got to the facility I serious was surprised on how clean, great lighting and well kept it was. Cleanliness is a must, specially since I will be storing my items at the facility. Kyle and Michelle were great people. They walked us through and showed us how to use the looks for the units we rented. Definitely recommending them and id I was able to give this review 10 starts I so would!! Phenomenal customer service!!

I have been a customer of Extra Space Storage of Glen Ellyn Il. for 3yrs. now. When I started Michelle Dunkeld was an Assistant Manager. Since then she has became the manager of this facility. She along with her coworkers keep this place very clean, bright, warm (winter), cool (summer). In the three years my debit card number was changed and I forgot to update the change with the office. Michelle reached out by phone to warn me before it became a problem. They know the customers by name and make you feel welcomed at all times. I am very pleased to use them for my storage needs and would refer others to also use them.

The facility in Glen Ellyn is run by very kind and courteous employees. Very willing to help in any way possible. The building was always extremely clean, which is a must for me during these COVID times. I would definitely use them again .

ESS has been a good first experience in using storage units. The space was a perfect sizeNot paying for space I didnt need. Well lighted and accessible any time. The use of a dolly was especially helpful in loading or unloading my vehicle. It was temperature controlled also. I would use them again if the need presented itself.
