Sayer Woodwinds is amazing. Go there. I know there is another well known clarinet repair company in Chicago, but Rick does excellent work with personal service. His rates are reasonable and he never tries to sell you gimicky repairs or overhauls. Practicality and clean keywork is something you can always count on from him. He was trained by the best and continues the excellence of his mentor Frank Kaspar. Once he knows you he will always make time for you and answer your questions. He sends me parts when I need them, has customized my setup and keywork, and has gotten me out of some sticky situations. I wouldnt recommend anybody else for clarinet repair.
