This store is my favorite place in town. The staff is wonderful at recommending books for readers of all ages and the atmosphere makes me want to hunker down and spend the day browsing every shelf. Excellent curation of themed collections and top-notch recommendations for gift-giving. The Curious Reader is an exceptional bookstore!

I was so happy to stumble upon this little bookstore. Such a lovely layout and wonderful place to embark in a new adventure. Books for babies, toddlers, older kids, teenager, young adults and adults. Truly a gem and the train station reminded me of my favorite movie you got mail. Lol anywho lovely place for readers! Venture in and enjoy!

I absolutely adore this place. Its like a goldmine of specially curated childrens books that make great gifts. Ive been shopping there for several years around the holidays to get special books as Christmas gifts for my niece and nephew. The owners are so helpful in finding exactly what I have in mind. I like to buy books that are beautifully illustrated and/or ones that are quirky and funny. They always have new books to show me and their selections are spot-on. The best part is that when I gave this years books to my niece and nephew a few days ago, their parents and grandmother were raving about the ones weve given them in the past. They mentioned a few in particular that have been the kids absolute favorites of all of their books. That makes me so happy that they appreciate them as much as I do. I love supporting this small business as well.

This place is more special than you could ever imagine. I have walked into The Curious Reader a handful of times not knowing what I would get, but I leave with the most wonderful gifts thanks to Chris and Sally. They offer such a dedicated experience and make shopping for books something I really look forward to. I now live out of state but they have even gone so far as to help me over email + phone, and ship books out for me. The Glen Rock community is so lucky to have this special place and I truly hope everyone takes advantage of it.

This store is a fantastic local store. The men behind the counter are very helpful and really know their material. They can help find a book by either interest or reading level. The kids enjoy going and finding a new series to read. I enjoy getting books for my little that help her on her way to reading.

This little store is great. A wide selection of children reading levels, subjects and themes. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. My son has quite a few books from this store, and this was our go-to for Christmas presents. Bonus for being open on Sundays when most places to shop are closed!

This is a great book store for children, my kids love coming here, there are many unique and high-quality books that we have found for them. They have a train they can turn on that goes around the room that my kids like as well. Also, the staff here is friendly.

The staff at the Curious reader are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.Their book recommendations are always spot on whether its a birthday gift for our teenage niece, or a gift for friends & family whove become new parents (or grandparents) or a big brother/sister. They find the perfect book for any occasion.
