What wonderful staff at this pharmacy. My uneasiness at getting vaccinated was alleviated by Lucia at the pharmacy counter and Michelle, the pharmacist who administered the shot. They were quite competent and friendly. They explained the process, what to expect, and addressed all of my concerns. The small town, neighborhood feel of the place was calming and relaxing. Much better than going to a crowded vax center. The personal, friendly service went beyond what you expect these days.

This was the first time that I’ve had to get a medication from a pharmacy for my 13-year-old dog. They were extremely patient and thorough explaining how to use the medication. Even had a sample tester to show me exactly how it should be dispensed. I would not go anywhere else to get medication compounded for my dog.

Ive been coming here for years with few issues. However, their operations and service need improvement. They have a service where they reach out to your vet for a refill on perscriptions for your pet. They have been doing it for years and its a great service - being a customer here, Ive come to depend on Rockridge to handle this portion of the process of refilling perscriptions for years smoothly. Fast forward to yesterday, I called to ask for a refill and I was told it would be ready. If there were no refills, they always let me know that there arent any left. This has been protocol for years. 24 hours later when I come in to pick up the medication, Im told the medication is not ready because there were no refills and when I let them know they should have told me (as they have been doing for years), they attempted to take the high road and tell me if i care about my pet, I should have been on top of it. When I asked why they didnt let me know there were no refills as per usual, they kept washing their hands from the situation and pinning it on me without a direct answer to the question. Seriously? All they had to do was let me know there were no refills left when I called. What a joke.

It is always a very pleasant experience going to Rock Ridge. The prescription are filed quickly and if you have questions the staff takes time to help you understand. In this age of email and delivery it is comforting to have a pharmacy we’re there is always some to help deal with questions, insurance problems and give advice. Wouldn’t think of going anywhere else for my families medicines and as a plus the gift department is terrific.

Were new to the neighborhood and just finding our way around all the businesses in town, but wanted to share an amazing experience we just had with the Rock Ridge Pharmacy.We always try to shop at the local small businesses instead of heading to the CVS / Targets of the world. So I thought wed try out the Rock Ridge Pharmacy. My sons birthday party was this week and we stopped in to buy some helium balloons. (Dee at GrowCery kindly recommended them as a source)They had run out helium, but were expecting more that day at 2:30. I bought the balloons with the agreement that Id pick them up later inflated. When the driver with the helium had an accident and they were going to miss getting us the balloons in time for the party, they started calling around town and wound up driving across town to Perrys Florist to fill up the balloons for us.Its worth pointing out that these were only 5 balloons and they had nothing to profit from doing this, they were just being helpful neighbors. I **GUARANTEE** no check-out person at the CVS would ever drive to another shop to pick something up for a customer.Im sold, and know which pharmacy well be shopping at from now on.
