Nice selection and great prices. Most fruit and vegetables are excellent quality but you do need to check carefully. Occasionally it is very disappointing.

Avoided for so long because I somehow thought it would be more expensive than The Shoprite in town. I was so wrong. I do make a habbit out of comparison shopping everywhere I spend money, and almost across the board, this place beats the competition. 99 cent Avocados, $1.50 heads of Cauliflower, Limes 6 for a dollar, the price per pound on most anything else, is almost exclusively less than $1.99 /pound which you will be hard pressed to say that about most traditional supermarkets. There have been a few claims here by others that this produce is not organic.... while I cant get a definitive answer for all items, anything that has a label on it, or its packaging stating the farm it where it came from usually has a website.... the ones I have looked up make claims of organic practices on their websites and I have little reason to contest it. A definitive answer for all the produce would be nice, but if youre at all familiar with growing a single thing in a garden even once in your life, its kind of easy to look at the quality here and compare it to something Monsanto pushes... and easily spot the organic version. Thats just my opinion because I suppose I am eerily observant but go here, look for yourselves. Its friendly, affordable, almost everything is in stock at all times... the parking is easy, checking out is easy, Ive never seen a crowd here as crazy as the Shoprite on River road... which makes the experience much more appealing than fighting my way between 4 other carts to get the last sweet potato. I only wish I started buying from them sooner, the amount we save by buying from this place, is almost surreal... the other reviews about keeping your eyes open for the bad stuff on the shelves is true, but hey, it is a fast paced environment for the staff, if its out with the rest of the other stuff, and has gone rotten, they are on it, its cleaned up, removed and shelves refilled with fresh stock. They also have a small floral area, dairy section, breads, some packaged goods, spices, some meats, sauces, and more... all with very clearly placed, and written out pricing so theres no checking the barcodes and UPCs to make sure you know costs... very bold, large, hand written signs, directly where the respective product is placed. I honestly cant think of one negative thing to say... I love their concept, the execution, the money it saves my family, and the delicious meals we get to enjoy more often because of its existence. Go check it out one day, I doubt youll regret it.

Prices make it sound appetizing. However, many items spoil in first 2 days. Items are on shelf in store and already have mold on them such as blueberries and strawberries. Iceberg lettuce has lots of rust on it. Romain lettuce has black edges. One would expect them to check over their stock a few times a day to eliminate bad items.

Great local farmers market. Good prices for fresh fruits and vegetables, and plenty of good snacks and groceries. People are nice, the atmosphere is nice.

Usually the selection of produce is very good, lately the lettuce has been pretty sad looking, have not seen yellow or orange peppers in a few weeks, sad to their quality is not what it was.

Great prices considering we try to eat healthy for a family of 7. Lots of variety for fruits and veggies and some small grocery items like milk, bread, etc. I wish they had more organic fruit. We go there weekly. The lines are generally short or move quickly if theyre 2 or 3 people deep.

Ive been a customer of the place for a couple of years now. It was a great find and I recommended it to my friends in Fair Lawn and Ridgewood.Recently, the quality of the produce has gone down. Spinach spoils after a couple of days, peaches and nectarines - by the next morning. (I leave some fruit out of the fridge - its tastier this way.)A couple of weeks ago I was getting a milk container from the shelves, but, when I checked, all the 2% had a last date of sale which had already expired. I asked for a fresh milk and someone brought me a container from the storage room. However, no one rushed (or strolled) to remove the old containers.I used to shop at Corrados in Clifton, but the Rock is closer to my home and less hectic. I hope it gets better and I dont have to go back to my old hounds.

Market used to be great but possibly bc of pandemic the produce is not as fresh or affordable as before.

Excellent produce at reasonable prices. Itemized receipt is worthless as everything is categorized as produce. Disappointed to see that whole watermelon is sold by the pound and not as each or by size. Nobody sells whole watermelon by the pound. Hope they offer Honey Crisp apples when the new apple season arrives. Would also like to see loose pearl onions.

Cheapest and the freshest grocery, and the breads are the best

Its actually not bad on a given day. Decent quality produce and very reasonable prices. I want to point out they sell a variety of fresh herbs and European style breads and cookies.But todays visit was a bit dissapointing because many shelves were bare, older rotting fruit that was laying on bottom was offered up for sale but should really be removed. Maybe they were busy on weekend and expecting a delivery but rotten produce should not be sold regardless.

Good neighborhood produce place a short walk away. Fairly cheap prices on most items. Nice seasonal variety. Be wary of bad produce though - sometimes produce looks a bit ugly on the outside but tastes great, sometimes it looks ugly and is bad on the inside too. :(Otherwise I love popping in here to grab veggies for dinner.

Very rare as I post negative review and took me awhile to decide. I’ve stopped going to this store after seeing once how bread is delivered to store without packaging in dirty plastic containers and workers broom dirty floors when store opens & very few customers in. Seeing dust flying all over vegetables made me feel sick. I was thinking how this store ever passed health inspection? Never mind all vegetables & fruits are on shelves not refrigerated & often rotten, sa cabbage with black brown spots f.e. As my degree in economics specialized in trade I know there are rules & regulations how to store & preserve products and shelves need to be periodically audited by store staff to assure that only fresh products are presented to customers to rule out spread out of virus & deceases.My hubby wanted to give this store another chance. And I could not hold anymore after seeing rotten egg plants brought in from thus store. I took pic this time & I’ll make sure to let anyone I know - family and friends and my prof network - to stay away from this store.
