The first troubles I had with this location started in April of 2021. In 2020, I had experienced some issues with getting my summers and winters sent to the store, in which it took much longer than expected and the wait time was very very long, but I looked past that because everyone was still getting used to Covid. When April of 2021 came around thouhgh, I was assured that they were back on track and everything was back to normal.I had called at the beginning of the month to get my summers sent, and was told it was 1-2 weeks. At the start of the third week I called again, and was told sometime this week for sure, at the end of that week I still hadnt heard anything. Finally I called the middle of the 4th week and my tires were there.The day of the appointment, I had a 12:30 appointment but my car was not brought in until after 1:00. The whole experience left me irritated, this after I had bought $1400 in tires and wheels, and paid the extra $70 for extra sensors so that the tire change itself was always free (now Im thinking it was a way to keep me coming back despite the terrible service).I called to have my winters sent to the store October 2nd, and was told 1-2 weeks. I called back on October 19th having not heard anything and was told they had not actually been requested, and the gentleman I talked to told me they might be there the next day, but no later than Friday. I didnt hear anything Friday, and called at about 3:00 Monday and was told they had gotten there that morning (of course they didnt call me to tell me that).My appointment was Tuesday the 26th, I will say the team was very friendly and efficient, but of course theres always something, as I did my tire change and got all the way home before I realized the team had forgotten to put the lugnuts back in the car and had to drive all the way back.This locations seems to have a serious lack of focus, communication, follow through and customer satisfaction. Never once was I offered a discount or cost reduction on the tire storage, or any kind of way to help keep my business through the multiple screw ups. Now I feel trapped by this company because I bought the sensors when I bought the winter tires to get free tire changes, but I will never ever go back to this location. If you can find someone else to buy new tires from, do it. This place is not worth the headache.

Came in today because my low tire pressure light kept coming on. I had the pleasure of working with Jose and while I was waiting I heard other employees working with different, somewhat difficult, customers. And let me say their customer service is top notch. Every employee was kind, courteous and respectful to every customer. And Jose was just wonderful to me and solved my problem. To the district manager of this facility you have employeed a great staff!

In town for business, needed tire repair from a nail. Couldnt plug due to where the nail was. Replaced all four tires since they were about due anyway. Stuck in meetings until 5pm. Called them in the morning and they ensured I was taken care of before they closed. Outstanding customer service and prices!

Had issue with rebate which was corrected and no problem. One thing I did notice is that instant rebate was added on and then deducted by the original salesperson. Upon returning manager corrected issues and very happy with his professionalism. Bought (2) sets of tires that month.

Customer Service is pretty good and friendly. The service ranges from 30min - 70min depending on how busy the shop is and calling ahead to check your tire availability is highly recommended.

Made an appointment for new tires all the way around. And they were on time and I was rolling out in new tires 😁. And they also offered me something to drink while I waited. Very, very pleasant.

Bought 4 new tires on Saturday and called the store immediately after I picked up the vehicle becuase a TPMS SERVICE REQUIRED light came on. They said dont worry, it will reset itself. By Monday it had not so I returned to the store to have them check it out. They tried a manual reset but it wasnt successful. My expectation was they would dismount the tires and check further into the problem, afterall, I didnt have this problem before they changed the tires. Boy was I wrong. Eric actually told me I need to take time off work and go to my dealership to have them verify nothing is wrong with the port. What???? I didnt have this problem before buddy, why dont you do more to fix it, before pushing me off to the dealership where I could have bought the new tires from to begin with? Update: The next day the store (Jimmy) called me back to apologize and made things right with replacing the TPMS sensors which fully took care of the issue, and I would return in the future for service.

Very poor service....had to wait 45 mins for just air pressure check..while the rep was busy talking to other peers and friendly conversations with other customer when there were 6-8 cars in line for air check.....when asked how much longer it going to take I was told its a free service so he will take as much time as he wants and if I cant wait I can leave....I love discount tires, have been their customer for 15 years buttons experience at this location was way below their standards 🙃

This was a great place. Im so glad I went there instead of another tire place. I made an appointment @ 9 in the morning. Arrived on time. I was met by a gentleman @ a check in point. He check all my tires & give me information. I only went in for 2 front tires. The price quote he gave me which was for 4 tires (badly need) & other charges, out the door price. It was very good, so got all 4 done. They are very courteous & knowledgeable. Very little contact for safety reasons. I would resolutely recommend them. Thanks to all the guys! Also all total in & out only took about 45 minutes. Even with my questions asked.

Andy G is one of the managers here and he is phenomenal. He’s extremely helpful and easy to work with and is extremely knowledgeable. However, some of the other employees here are not so great. Even though they don’t work on commission, they are very slick on sales. We got charged for certificates and other hidden costs without being told but luckily we saw it right before inserting our credit card. Be careful when purchasing and try working with Andy!

Helpful staff was able to quickly diagnose I had wheel corrosion which caused a leak and did a temporary repair.

Customer service was superb.

They make it seem like you will be taken care of for the rest of your (tire’s) life, but there’s always some discrepancy as to why they can’t do any of the things they promise. They couldn’t even put the tire back on the way it was before I came in, blaming it on the control arm. The tire WAS sitting just fine and they didn’t bother to mention the control arm when I got it back. It’s kind of a big deal having a tire angled at 45 degrees.

These guys know their job. This location is one of the best I ever went to. Service is outstanding. Sales always give you couple options to pick from. Their recommendations are what is better for your car and your price range. I shop new tires every 2 years and every time Im very happy with my purchase at this place.

Today I discovered a nail in my tire- I knew I needed 2 new tires before winter so I figured it was a nudge to get them sooner than later. Discount tire was able to fit me in (I got an appointment 7 minutes after I arrived). Jimmy helped me find tires that wouldnt break the bank but that will hold up driving in a Chicago winter. It is SO refreshing not to be pushed only towards the most expensive option! He really worked to find what worked for me. It was a lovely day out, so I thought I would read a book while they worked on my car, but they finished installing them so fast that I didnt even get through a full chapter! I will be coming to the Glendale Heights location in the future. It is much more pleasant all around than the one on Roosevelt!

Brought my car in due to my tire leaking air. Appointment was set for 5:30. Got there a few minutes early. Car was pulled into the shop at 5:45. They found a nail in my tire, repaired it, and had me set to leave around 6:05. I was all ready to pay but was told my tire met the requirements for their free tire repair program and was done 100% free of charge. Crew was friendly and efficient. I will definitely go back for future needs knowing they are truly there to help and not nickel and dime you everything.

Hey sir since you dont like your tires that were bought here Ill give you $50 credit per tire. Oh! Ok! Ill take the tires that are $67 each. Ohhhhh NO sir! You have to buy the tires that cost $176 each to get that. So youre saying I can get the $50 credit per tire you PROMISED ME... but I have to buy your tire that cost $176 each.Great way to destroy a customer relationship that have purchased 8-9 sets of tires for the last decade on multiple vehicles.

Had my tires serviced by them a couple weeks later, I went to get a brake job and the mechanic showed me right before I even dropped the car that the locking nut was missing. The last people to work on the tires was discount tires. I called them and at first they didnt seem to take ownership of that. After that they told me to bring the car in. I have been traveling for work and still havent been able to take the car in yet. When I am back in town I will take it to them and see if they replace it. This is a safety issue.EDIT: upon taking it back, they replaced all my lugs. I also happened to have an irreparable nail in my tire, they replaced the tire free of cost and rotated/balanced all my wheels. I didnt pay a penny. Thank you.

Great store, great employees. I really enjoy the whole chain of discount tires; the air is free, fixing tires is free, and they will also check tire tread and depth and let you know when you need to get new tires. Price wise I think it changes for each car, so just be aware of prices but I would say in general the prices are competitive and since they only deal with tires they arent trying to upgrade you or push you to get unneeded work done on the car. They might point you in the direction of someone who might if your car needs to be fixed, but just be aware of that. I would also recommend getting the warranty on the tires because its cheap and you never know when a tire could be punctured and you want to make sure you get your moneys worth.

Always like this specific Discount Tire location. All of the employees there are nice especially Josh, who helped me out with the tire issue. Greatly appreciate it and I definitely recommend this location!

Nick, one of the Service Advisers, took EXTREMELY great care of me and was able to get my tire repair done in less time than anticipated with a ZERO charge. My family owns 4 vehicles. Absolutely fantastic customer service. I brought in my Tesla, and they treated my vehicle as if it were their own. I felt very comfortable allowing Jimmy to work on my vehicle due to his care and professionalism. They were extremely friendly and listened to everything I said. Very disappointing place to go to. Refused to take a look at my punctured tire and started selling me a new tire. Went to AAA and those guys not only fixed it for free but also advised me to get a new tire. I know I need a new tire but dont try to sell me your products, instead of forcing me to buy your tires... Fix my old tire and tell me I need to replace it soon. I am a truck driver and I know my car and tires. These tires will drive another 10,000 miles in summer with no problems. When I need to fix a flat and I get pushed by sales men. I refuse to buy anything from places like this. Places like this are the reason why most people prefer online shopping rather than giving business to local shops. I am going to go back to AAA and get my new tires and wheels. Hope this place shuts down or hires better workers. Disgusting people here.

I am a long time customer at the Glendale Heights location. They have a great group of guys that give you a great price and fast service. I no longer live in the area but was traveling up from the Saint Louis area. I stopped in for a quote and ended up having a set of tires put on in under one hour and was back on the road headed home. I cant wait until discount tires comes into the Saint Louis market. Hurry please!!

Discount Tire operates like businesses operates in the romanticized version of the past. What do I mean by that? Well, their customer service is second to none! They are fast, courteous and inexpensive. I had stopped by in late February to get a price quote for switching my set of snow tires to the regular tires on my G35, and I was told $136. Well, it was my mistake in not telling them that my tires were 18 instead of 17 so the price was going to be a bit higher. They were about to explain why the price difference was what it was, but there was no need; I understand that the thinner sidewalls on my 18 wheels makes it more difficult to mount, and at the price of $156, I felt that was still more than fair.I dropped the car off with my spare set of tires, wrapped in plastic bags, and they got to work before I had even left with my father. I had barely gotten home when I received a call from Jimmy, informing me that there is a slight bend in one of the rims. He of course offered to find a replacement for it, but also was straight up and honest with me in telling me that the current time was still going to be safe to use, so I opted for that, at least for now.So I thought it was going to be a bit longer before I got the call to pick up my car, right? Nope! I was very wrong. The call that they were finished came less than 10 minutes after the initial phonecall. So I looked at the time, and only 25 minutes went by, meaning they finished a full 20 minutes before they estimated! That is the mark of overdelivery on a promise if Ive ever seen one!I am a Discount Tire customer for life because I know exactly what kind of service I will be getting every time I need to see them, and I encourage you to do the same!

Very impressed with the level of service I received here. Not only did they accommodate me immediately, they fixed the issue (tire patch up) at no charge. Really appreciate Brian and Zayd for their help and quick turnover. Awesome experience to say the least.

Went to try and get air put in my bicycle tires and the guy working was about to until someone yelled no we cant it will explode this tells me 2 things guys there dont know what theyre talking about and rude screaming across a shop instead of coming to talk to someone this tire was rated for max load of 50psi. Most if not all vehicles take average 35psi. I happen to work at a auto shop and have filled customers bike tires all the time. Obviously this place was within walking distance of my home so I figured it would be quick and simple.

Higher upfront cost but solid warranty/coverage. Fast service. Clean waiting area with WiFi, water and coffee. No tables though so harder to use a laptop. Friendly, knowledgeable.

It was my first time buying a new set of tires for my car and he made the process much less daunting and made sure I was fully aware of my options and the tire warranty coverage. Stopped in without an appointment to have the staff verify if tires were as bad as car dealership claimed. They showed me firsthand that tires were badly worn. Greeted as soon as I walked in. Brian was super helpful. Came in to check on my tires and I know little to nothing about cars. Brian said he didnt think anything needed to be done, and I even asked should I buy the balance anyways and he asked me questions and concluded I didnt need to spend any money. Will be coming to Brian for a long time.

Good prices but terrible wait times. Even with an appointment, you still have to wait over an hour.They ordered the wrong tire size for me so one day, I completely wasted my time here. The manager, Jimmy, was super nice about it and managed to find new tires immediately and set me up with another appointment time. This went much more quickly.They offered very competitive pricing and got the job done well. All around a relatively good experience.

Friendly efficient staff. Spacious well lit waiting area where they offer free bottles of water and coffee. Get a detailed explanation of the issue and because my tires were purchased here, service is usually free for the life of the tire. Cant go wrong.

Asked them to take the lug nuts off of my tires because they were stripped. They were busy so it took an hour and a half which was understandable. Once they called us and said they were finished we asked if they were able to get the tire off they said they got them off no problem. Drove down the street to change my brake pads and we were still unable to get off the lug nuts, we called them back asking what happened they said we were able to get 2 lug nuts off but we need to go to a mechanic to get the others off. When I asked why didnt they tell us that when we picked up the car he just repeated what he said until I hung up.
