Really liked this place. The ambiance is nice, with plenty of Hawaiian and island beach themed decor. Food was unique and everything tasted great. First time having Loco Moco and I loved it. Really like the “mini” food options for when your not feeling down to eat something super heavy. Drinks were delicious and cashier was very nice, left with a great experience.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! MY FIRST BAD experience with ANY HI BBQ spot!! The kahlua pork looked n smelled like burnt shredded beef!! Dry and distasteful!!🤮Spam musubis..difficult to bite through nori wrap..was like biting, pulling plastic!!NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN!! AVOID!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!! I LOST $38😡🤬🖕🏾

Great food. Makes me miss the islands even more. I enjoy the authenticity of their spam. It is truly Hawaiian food. There is something neat about it. Not very many venues offer such food. When the delivery service dropped off the food it was still nice and warm. Theyre cold salads were delicious. Meats were perfectly cooked. Again just a very authentic real Hawaiian meal. Like the ones at that actual Hawaiians eat not that the mainlanders eat. Just wanted to straighten that out because well if you ever go to the islands can be very expensive and you end up eating food that you can get in California. But if you talk to the people that live there and are ever so lucky to be able to join them for a dinner youll find their food is freaking delicious. So if you like authenticity and a real Hawaiian food meal go here now

Ive had L&L before at a different location the food was always amazing. So I was in the area decided to purchase food. I know times are rough right now with shortages and lack of staffing. Thats no reason to cheat a customer out of food. Owner was working cashier and was extremely skimpy of the food. Even after I tipped $2 lacked in giving me sauces. The food was dry and got Very little to any portions. Well not be eating here again. I actually been here twice and I left the first time because I had placed an order and I was waiting for it dining in and they refused to let me use the restroom. I asked for money back and left without trying the food. I will not be returning it, but if youre in Santa Monica, I highly recommend the L&L there.

The macaroni salad is amazing. The food can take a little long, but that’s probably because they make it to order

I can’t say enough good things about the place and the guy who helped us. Roman (the guys who helped) made sure our order was perfect and went the extra mile to make sure we had a perfect meal. The bbq short ribs were amazing! We also got the salad and French fries. So many places close early and thankfully he stays open late. Everything was clean and wonderful. We will back for sure.

I ordered the chicken cutlet with gravy and half loco moco through DoorDash for $24!!The portion size was for a kids meal and the gravy they used was horrible!! It smelt and tasted awful.After a few bites I had to throw the whole thing away.IF YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO CHRAGE A LOT FOR A SMALL PORTION OF PROTIEN AND CARBS, AT LEAST DO IT RIGHT.

I ordered 5 spam musubi and each of them were super thin. Very little rice and very little spam. That took 10 minutes for the guy to make. I felt like the owner did not care to make quality spam musubi or have quality service to his customers.

Food normally good at this location but after eating there today I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Not only was the chicken dry the one cook working both the register never washed his hands. When my son asked for French fries he rudely said “we don’t have fries” clearly French fries are listed but whatever.

I like this place! They give delicious meals, their menu is decent, The cook in that restaurant is a real pro, I love very much tasting all their food. The food is always good, the service towards the guests is good. I often go to this restaurant and I not even once was unhappy. I highly recommend it.

This restaurant is located in the heart of Glendale and is well decorated and unique. The surfboards on the roof are eye-catching. There are drinks and beer for sale here, the dishes are fresh, the taste is good, the meat has its own characteristics, and the workmanship is good, making people feel appetite. The price is fair.

So glad to have found these in LA. Not that Hawaiian food is hard to find, but prior to this, good Hawaiian food was quite difficult to find. The moco loco and the macaroni salad are just amazing and I only wish they were better for you so I could rationalize having it a lot more often

I love Hawaiian bbq. I even like the L&L franchise. What I do not like is this location. Food is not prepared with any care, and the management is too cheap to spare an extra to-go plate. Don’t worry, there’s tons of other eateries in spittin’ distance. :)

The location is prettier than the one in Pasadena, but somehow my server Harry didnt here me say curry when I placed my order. I dont get why people cant hear me when I speak up.

My first bad experience at this place. Ive been to L&L multiple times but never at this location. The macaroni salad wasn’t good and the meat taste old and was cold. If It wasn’t a 30 min drive I would have taken it back and got my money back.

Pretty casual restaurant, really clean, and has a nice theme going on. The prices are reasonable and the food is good. Customer service could be better but it’s not awful.

I got bbq mix and all of the meats are very salty. I would not recommend to anyone who are sensitive salt or cant have much salt. Very disappointed. Wont be going back.

Pretty solid bbq. I had the ribs and brisket with a side of Mac n Cheese and Greens. The greens were delicious, tangy and made actually eating green vegetavbles fun. The ribs were very flavorful.

If it were possible to give this location a negative star review, I would. Of all the L&L locations that Ive eaten at over the course of about 20 years, this Glendale location is the worst. From the terrible customer service at the counter, to the food that we ordered. The Kalua pork was dry and tasted like it was left over from earlier on in the week. I didnt think anyone could screw up french fries...... They did. When I brought up the quality of the food that we had ordered to the manager (same guy who cooked the food), and gave him the opportunity to make things right. He really didnt give a damn about his customers.Never eat here unless you like throwing your money away.

Never eat here.. the manager on duty Ruben is very unprofessional. His staff got our order wrong and he didnt deal with the situation like a professional manager shouldve. He was belligerent and demeaning.

The Glendale location is probably the best one of these that Ive been to. Its still an L&L when push comes to shove, but the friendliness of staff, quality of the food (especially the Malasadas) and the cleanliness give it bonus points. The only downside is that its in a strip mall like area with plenty of other places around no real street parking but there are paid for garages. If youre already visiting the Americana this place is very convenient to stop and eat at considering youre probably going to pass by at picking up your car.

L&L Hawaiian BBQ located on Maryland Ave walking distance from the Americana in Glendale has a delicious menu of Hawaiian BBQ food. My first visit there I had asked what are their favorite dishes and we ordered and I shared with my friend a Chicken Katsu Saimin and a Big Poke. I am definitely going back again!

There hamburgers are super delicious,mead with less grease and right across from the Glendale gallerias

Don’t waste your time here, they have a terrible rating for a reason!!!!! Terrible customer service and even worse food. I asked for a boba drink and the guy with the glasses at the front said they haven’t made any in a while and that I’m the first one to ask for one in 6 months. Literally a few customers after us asked for some boba drinks and they received them!!!! We waited disgustingly long for salty a** food and pork buns that smelled super old and the pork inside looked so gross. Don’t bother.

By far the best fresh Poke here in the Main land in So Cali, great service and I have tried other items on their menu and for an L & L franchise owned by Middle Easterns Americans they really make the effort to keep it traditional as if you were eating in the islands, its my to go Poke place here in LA, Mahalo Nui.

Worst Chicken Katsu I have ever tasted. I bought the seafood combo ($11+), came with breaded shrimp and mahi-mahi and choice of third item. Unfortunately I chose the chicken katsu which was so thin, dry and tasteless it could have been breaded cardboard. The other items were ok and the mac salad is always a favorite, but I would not come to this location again.

While the food is technically Hawaiian fare, the execution is miserable. The breaded chicken cutlets were rather dry and totally tasteless. A forgettable, fast-food-type rendition of Hawaiian stereotypical dishes.

Most restaurants closed on certain days, so some open restaurants couldnt have any guests. I just went in, but the cost wasnt bad .... but the barbecue sauce used a little less soy sauce. The noodles are fresh. The chef doesnt seem to be motivated. Value for money is not bad. Please improve a little ....
