The worked with my insurance company and i got my claim paid for a total engine overhaul/rebuild. Engine is almost finished and ready to be installed. These guys have always been honest and upfront with me about fees and costs. Ill use them every time. My boat is a Nordic Heat with a 1200HP supercharged motor.

Even though an initial estimated 3 week turn around time turned into 3 months, I am extremely happy with the job done. First time boat owners (very old one as well 86) trouble with reverse, water coming inside, and shift cable issues. Got out on the lake this past weekend and worked great. I called almost every week or every other week to check on status (I lile to be kept in the loop) and was always answered in a friendly and professional manner. Would recommend to my friends and family!!!

I took my boat to Bodnar for an annual service and installation of a new trolling motor and interfacing gps/fish finder. They did a great job and took the time to explain to me all the new features.

Very unprofessional. I emailed them to get a estimate and schedule an appointment to bring my boat in to get bottom paint done. They emailed me back and said they know how much it costs but weren’t going to write a book. I didn’t want a book, I wanted a ballpark estimate before I brought it there. I had to email because at my work, I can’t talk on the phone. Needless to say, I never got an estimate. Avoid this place, obviously they have poor communication skills

What a great experience!! I brought my boat in needing a fiberglass and gelcoat repair and they really came through on time and under the insurance quote. You cant expect faster or better service especially during the boating season. Thank you Bodnar Boat Works!!

I came in for repairs last summer 2019 and then I left town for work for 4 months. My wife picked up boat and took back to storage. I came back and wanted to know some basics about using and storing my boat Im a first time owner. Brought in boat for another related issuethe trailer hitch I got on truck no problem but couldnt get it off. I figured since you deal with boats you could help me. Nope you wanted to change out my hitch and charge me more money. I went elsewhere and was SHOWN HOW. Not told to replace hitch.My wife was told when I was gone working to bring boat back in and I would be shown basics how to use. I feel customer service wasnt as great as elsewhere.

Bodnar boat works did extensive fiberglass work on my boat, Dana was upfront and honost from the beginning and it turned out great! They even finished a full week early!

Finally the customer service I expect as a consumer. Brought my Four Winns open bow to Bodnar for the first time this week, what pleasant experience. The entire staff was extremely knowledgeable, workmanship exceeded my expectations. What truly gained my trust is that the GM called me with updates regularly, A+ in my opinion! I will certainly be a return customer.

Not impressed! I am by far an expert but 5 hours to change the oil? Charged me 67.50 to change a bow light. Said they traced the wiring because it wasnt working and found it was a bad bulb. When pointed out that they could have saved time by replacing light bulb first and asked for good faith reimbursement on the time, (1/2 hour of tracing), was basically told to kick rocks that the price was what the price was.

Experience was good unfortunately had a blown up motor and then let me know right away before I put a bunch of money in it

Im usually not into giving reviews about anything but I would just like to say I was a little worried about getting work done on my boat. Its always kind of intimidating to walk in to a shop but it was not like that at all at this placeThese guys (and gals) were AWESOMEI have done a lot of work myself on my old boat but I took my outdrive in to have it resealed because I didnt wanna screw anything upI dealt with Jack on the phone and he treated me great. They got the work done fast and at a cheaper price then what he quoted me!I will be putting it back together soon to get it out on the water to see how it goes.My boat is an 85 Chris Craft so (I might have more issues in the future😏) and now I wont hesitate to take it to this shop to get work doneThank you

THIS PLACE IS GREAT! All summer Ive been having issues on my 2015 SeaRay. Ive taken it to a couple other shops, had a mobile mechanic meet me at the lake and charged, HUNDREDS of dollars to still not have a properly running boat or solid diagnosis. A few weeks ago I took my boat into Bodnar (thanks to a referral from a friend), and I had a quick answer and repair. The service techs were outstanding and I am a happy customer. Thanks for your honest, quick service! See you all next year for my tune up!

Took my boat to Bodnar for yearly service, good price and they got it in right away.the guy who was working on it called about an issue and told me how to take care of the problem without added cost, most places just want to jack up the cost Bodnar didnt.When I went to pick up my boat the guy who did all the work spent 1/2 hour with me explaining everything that was done and went over a few things I needed to be aware of. Very good service, good price. Great people to work with, and they have a shop dog.

This is a great company! They will do great work for you. I have an older boat and spent a good amount getting this SeaCamper back to new. When I got it back, I took it out that day. It ran mint! Jeff and tech know what they are doing, and the job will be done correctly. The owner is also very knowledgeable, and gives honest advise. Lets face it, boats are not cheap. I didnt buy it to worry about pricing. This company does not gouge. These people are loyal and do fantastic work!

Took my boat in for lower unit service. They clearly communicated what they did and if anything else was found they would call and let me know. Service was completed timely. Customer service was outstanding and I would highly recommend them to others.

I have to say great customer service started at the first initial call. Kathy was pleasant to talk to, and Dana and the techs were very knowledgeable and can fix just about anything wrong with a boat. They listen to all of your concerns and take the time to explain what they are going to do. I bought a used Smoker Craft bass boat this business. When I went to pick up the boat they took the time to show me how everything worked and they explained what service/maintenance they had done so I was confident it was water-ready. Mr. Bodnar even fixed my trailer wiring so I could pull the boat safely. They sold it at a great price and the boat runs perfect!

I took our 2004 215WE Sea Ray into Dana and he and his crew did an outstanding job taking the bottom paint off and resurfacing the gel coat. Our boat looked pretty good already but we werent going to wet slip it any longer thus the bottom paint removal...now she looks like a brand new boat! Dana and his team are top notch, know what they are doing and care about their customers. Take your business here and you wont be sorry.

A few months ago, I took my boat in to get it looked at after I noticed an oil leak. After explaining to the mechanic what I noticed and what he saw when I took it there, A diagnostic was done and they could not get it to duplicate it. He stated to me that he could start replacing stuff but he did not think it was needed. He thought it was a purge in the system as the boat had been sitting for a while prior to my purchase. He was VERY honest with me and stated that he felt the boat was completely sound. After numerous trips out, the boat is still running like a top without any issues. I felt I was treated completely fairly and I will definitely take my boat back when it needs service or annual maintenance. The mechanic(Jeff i think his name was) who has been there for like 30 years is a very stand up guy. For a first time boat owner, I was pleased with the way I was treated.

Bodnar Boat is reliable and honorable. I took my 2005 Tige in for service in the spring several years ago and they were swamped with work but didnt rush anything. When they did get around to my boat, they called me with a detailed list of what they found and we worked out an annual maintenance that was perfect for what it needed without charging me an arm and a leg like many shady boat places would do.My 2005 Tige V22 has two batteries which are on either side of the boat and are tied in together to one master switch. Bodnar did replace one of the batteries as it would not hold a charge. A few weeks later, I took the boat back as the batteries were still having issues and they quickly identified a different issue and fixed it on the spot without charge. I think it was a connector somewhere between the two batteries which had not shown up until after I had taken the boat out a few times with the new battery. (Typical boat stuff, not bad mechanics!)This year, Bodnar sold my boat for me. It was a really good experience and Danas handling of the boat sale was awesome.Great place, great staff...

Recently purchased a Mirrocraft aluminum fishing boat for our family this year. Ive been coming here for years with our pontoon boat. We get our typical annual service and few repairs each summer.Bodnar also has a pro shop with boating and trailer supplies, new and used boats on the lot, pontoons, fish finders, and everything a Bass fisherman would want! This is my to-got-to shop and you wll receive great service with every visit. So they will get my five stars.

After a buddy of mine parked my Bayliner on the rocks at Lake Pleasant, I wasnt even sure if it was repairable. Dana aND his team re glassed the bottom so well there isnt even a sign of it ever being hit. On top of that they did a full gel coat refurbish and it turned out amazing, top notch work!

We want to thank Dana, Nick and the whole crew at Bodnar Boat Works for all the help theyve given us! We were all set up to leave on a fishing trip we found our boat would not start. So early on a Monday morning we did some calling around and Bodnar was the only boat shop that would see us immediately. We took the boat in and they stopped what they were doing to troubleshoot the boat as we waited. When it turned out to be a major engine malfunction, we called Mercury and could get no satisfaction from them. Dana then called and got Mercury to stand behind the parts - saving us s boatload of cash! This place is GREAT! I was in phoenix AZ for vacation (From Denver, CO) and after only one day on the water our boat broke down (needed a new starter). After towing it all the way from Denver (Aprox 2,100 miles round trip) we were unable to use the boat on our vacation.I spoke with Bodnar Boat Works and even thou they were VERY busy they got us up and running as soon as they could so we only missed 2 days on the water!!

Bodnar Boat Works saved my Seadoo jet skis on more then one occasion. Each time i took them to the lake they performed as they should. Thanks again for all your help.

Stay away!!After a 650$ estimate, between being given 3 different stories and prices by the owner Dana, Jeff and the other guy that actually supposedly looked at the boat, I was hit with a 3500$ amount for a new fuel pump, control box and a anual service.I refused the service and told the owner I would pick up the boat in 2 hours. When I went to pick the boat up, it was filthy, one side panel that was removed from the interior had curved from being left not flat, in the sun, control box was uninstalled, missing screws, engine cover apart, fuel pressure rail cap not in its place and the brand new upholstery I just had installed just a fee days before dropping it off is now cut in 4 places.And after being told I would get charged for one hour estimate, I was actually charged 1.5 hours because there was something else done by another guy....I am out 200$ for the guestimate 300$ for a new detail and who knows how much for the rest.Do not waste your time and money here. You will end up in the hole.You have been warned!!

I brought my 21 Maxum in for a summer get ready service which included a wet sand on the Gel coat. These guys did a great job across the board for what I thought was an incredibly reasonable price. They found a minor (and low cost) mechanical issue which the technician contacted me about and explained very effectively that its just something that needs to be done in order to prevent a bigger issue out on the lake. The cost was a nit but I appreciated his straight forward explanation. During that time frame I decided to sell the boat and asked Bodners to broker for me. They did a great job of advertising and the boat sold to a person in New Zeland. Dana Bodner and his team did a great job of taking care of all the details and it was well worth the cost. Thanks to Dana and his team, very pleasant people to work with!!

Just dropped my boat off. other than being in a wierd location, the guys were professional and after doing the inspection on the boat i feel confident in their knowledge... i will get my boat back on monday, so lets see if their talent/skills matches their knowledge... ill update once i see the repairs.UPDATE - so, dropped boat off on a thursday afternoon. got called on friday and was told welder would be in on monday to look at and update me... no call on monday... called on tuesday, and everyone was at lunch so i left a message with the lady on the phone she said someone would call me back... no one called, so i went in person to get an update. the owner told me that the welder had called in sick and would look at it the next day (wednesday). i got a call on thursday with an update that all the leaks had been identified and that it would be potentially a 2-3k$ job! because they would have to take the entire pontoon tube off. He then starts asking about whether or not i have insurance on the boat, because i could tell my insurance agent i hit the dock or something similar and have my insurance pay for it... when i came in to pick up my boat, the owner then began telling me that they need a special tool to fix my boat, they THEY DONT HAVE, and once my insurance check clears, they will buy it and fix my boat!!! i payed bodnar boat works 100$ to tell me that my pontoon leaks... which i already knew.This place is super shady and i will not be going back...i found another place that guarantees their work and will do the entire job for 300$, even if the deck needs raised...Response to owner - I brought in a 96 tracker, that apparently only had a few cracks on the tops of the tubes from the deck shifting, which were easily welded/repaired for 1/10th of what you quoted... never had another problem. Your quality of work was not in question, rather your integrity. I was not told the tubes were not worth fixing rather I was told you didnt have the welder needed for the repairs, and if I lied to my insurance company and told them I hit the dock, you could get enough money to buy the tool to make the repair. I am not bad mouthing you, rather describing what occurred that day. you can have your own opinion of the events, but you cant make your own facts.
