Quite a good Korean store with lots of Korean goods, fresh meats and other Asian products. If youre looking for Korean ingredients, youll probably find what you need here. Decent parking, too, and probably more convenient to shop here than to go to Korea Town.

The best Korean grocery store outside of Koreatown.Good place to pick up Korean and Japanese food products.There are certain signs that are just in Korean, but most everything there has English signs/labels/etc., too.

Theres a Korean restaurant inside this market that has a nice lunch menu. The Bi Bim Bap is quite good. They have Korean barbecue, but you dont cook it yourself at your table. Instead, they bring it out already cooked and on a sizzling plate.

Some staff doesnt talk fluent English which is fair. . . They speak Korean. The supermarket itself is fine but it has a sad mood to it. I cannot fully explain this emotion, but there are other sub stores that had closed down and is now empty.

This place is closing at the end of July 2017. If you want Korean food products, your next best bet is Korea Town (sorry for the obvious) and the closest city will be La Crescenta. I am sad to see it go. Another victim of out of control development in Glendale CA.

Love this place. They have the best deals on roasted seaweed snacks. They usually have several sample booths as well and the staff is friendly

LOVE HK MART!Great prices, delicious marinated meats, so many convenient meal options!Money goes twice as far here compared to other grocery stores. Cant go wrong at HK mart!

Decent place to shop. Not particularly clean or very neatly organized. But its not a bad place for Korean food.

Dingy. Not very clean. Dried good are old. Majority of their meats are frozen. Poor banchan selection

Korean Supermarket.Dont like coming here but its close to home and good prices on fruits and veggie produce. Staff are bunch of latino thugs who stare you down like you in their territory or something or want to start something. If they ever do, they can kiss their jobs goodbye. Its not like they are working hard anyway. They work slow because they are busy try to stare at customers coming into their turf. LOL. Forget the idea of your friendly grocer here. Only nice people are the cashiers who are Korean. I dont know how this place stays open. The old man Korean manager or owner must be rich because I think hes losing probably hundreds of thousands or millions a year keeping this place open when there is about five customers during weekdays and maybe 15 on weekends at any given time. If only he knew how to change the service culture in this store and the items he stocks. I like to go to Jons Market for supermarket items. The major chains are best for meats when its on sale. Trader Joes for quality, healthy choice items.

This is the largest Korean market in the Glendale/La Crescenta area, great alternative if you dont want to drive to Koreantown. Expectedly a bit pricier and less variety than K-town but it gets the job done and is fairly clean and organized.

Great produce prices and a selection of seafood and Korean BBQ meats.

Closest Korean market to me from Pasadena. Excellent produce prices and the prepared hot food is excellent if you get it before its out

My favorite spot to buy kimchee and korean instant noodles...hk on western is WAY TOO BUSY AND HECTIC to go to...glendale is the easiest spot to get what you want and head on out

Unfortunately, this HK market is closing as of July 31, 2017. Well need to drive to one in Korean Town after that. (T.T)

Allot of Asian food items. Produce is very fresh.

A little more pricey than other Asian markets, but they have great selection of Korean child dishes.

Not the biggest or the best in LA, but I think it has the best selection in the Glendale area.

Pretty cool how theres a korean market in Glendale. It closes at 10:55 pm by the way. Not 11pm. Not 10:30pm. I came around 10:30 pm, and all the banchan was closed off T_TThis was the only time Ive gone, so I will be back during normal market hours to see if its livelier. I would say that this market has one of the cheapest produce and meat in that area compared to the American markets like Ralphs and Trader Joes.This is a VERY korean market, and therefore has the many sauces associated with korean food (SCORE!!).They also have a lot of sashimi option and cheap uni. However, the uni quality, like that of Korean markets, is subpar- pale yellow and limp. But if you make some pasta sauce from that, you wont be able to taste the difference ;)Ill be back to score on some banchan.

The only Korean market in Glendale.They have good sales and their employees are very helpful and nice.

Both a Korean market and a small restaurant. Ive always found anything Ive been looking for as far as Korean food, but you wont find the same goods as a typical supermarket.

Although not as large as some of the other Korean markets in Garden Grove or Rowland Heights, HK offers most of the specialty Korean items youre looking for.

Its got what you need, when you need it. People say it doesnt compare to markets in ktown but when you take the traffic and amount of people, works just fine.
