A very welcoming office, following safety precautions and not crowded.The staff was friendly and organized.Dr. Alisa Thavikulwa was pleasant, knowledgeable, caring, a good listener and gave a thorough exam. Based on her findings, the choices she recommended and the options I selected; I was comfortable with my Vision Plan going forward. Thank you!

I put a one star, because I have no other choice. I want to address the hygiene in the Glen Dale office. No hand sanitizers....instruments barely cleaned. No measures taken to optimize cleanliness in the office. When putting drops in your eyes, the do not clean the tip of the bottle from from customer to the other. The gentleman who sells fames barely wears his mask. And finally had to go to my doctor because of an infection caused by the drops put in my eye for dilation....my eyes hurt at least one day after the dilation. I do not recommend this vision center...during the uncertain times. No temperature check...

I have always been treated with the upmost courtesy and respect at the Vision MD office in Glenn Dale. Dr. Thavikulwat and staff are very gracious and proficient. I am glad I found Vision MD for my vision care.

I’ve seen two of the doctors here, one for a regular check up and one when I had to be seen more urgently for a red eye. Both doctors were exceptional. They explained everything very thoroughly and got me in and out to minimize my risk. They try to keep the office as socially distant as possible and are being much safer than many other offices I have visited. I felt very safe coming here. The staff is also very nice and helpful.

Always courteous and professional even in the face of a difficult person, which I was for my first visit! Would highly recommend them all!!

Vision MD Eye Dr. The staff is very pleasant, caring and thorough. My appt was 8:40 I got there at 8:25 and they took me. I will recommend vision MD eye doctor .

Joseph Rispoli is amazing!! He was the fourth eye doctor I saw for an eye infection and was very helpful explaining the process while examining my infection and the science behind the eye. The office itself is also beautifully renovated. Highly recommend!

COVID protocols followed, clean and sterile environment. Extremely courteous staff! The front desk staff helped me get my insurance straight, figuring out whether to bill to medical or vision. Dr Rispoli was great; attentive and thorough. Went over everything he was doing during the exam, stopped to explain some of the strains I was experiencing and how we can correct them. The exam wasn’t rushed; I learned more in my first visit here than I did the over 5 or so years I’ve seen what I call “retail eye doctors”. I wasn’t pressured to buy any frames or lenses, but they do have a nice selection to choose from. My Rx was printed out for me, I ended up going my own route for frames/lenses. I definitely recommend this office.

My 81. Year old fathers sight was leaving abruptly. Dr Nigori took her time with him and did a thorough exam with patience,as my dad has some other physical challenges... She never rushed him, and when she was unsure about what was going on, she referred my dad to a neuro ophthalmologist ...who could get us an accurate diagnosis. Dr Nigori was concerned and even reached out to the neuro opthmoligist, so that he was informed of my dads condition and her concerns. Dr Nigori has a passion for what she does and it shows through her knowledge, and the care and compassion that she shares and shows for her patients.

First visit. Seen by Dr Alisa. Very thorough, Calm & re-assuring. Explained every diagnostic test performed stating it’s rationale. Gave intervention options & asked for understanding of each one.Projects confidence in her approach to the treatment modalities which in turn neutralizes the visit’s anxiety’s. No RUSH to Surgery. The Office Staff were equally good, Professional & helpful. General ambience of the office is Calming. All Covid-19 protocols observed.
