We walked in, sat down and were promptly waited on. When the food arrived, the fries/gravey were so hot, I ate them first. Two hot dogs with mustard, onions and meatsauce, excellent. Clean, reasonably priced and yes, I would return again.
Words cant express how great New Way Lunch is.The best food. If you eat just one Dirty John hot dog then you cant possibly settle for anything else. We actually have gone in and sat at a table. The service was excellent and the food was great.

Excellent food! Staff was friendly and I was VERY impressed to see ALL staff members, from wait staff to the kitchen, wearing masks. That said, I hope the ventilation system here is top notch because there is NO spacing between tables and no additional safety measures could be seen (ie additional dividers or keeping every other table empty). I did not feel safe eating here and took my meal to go.

One of the top places around to grab some dogs, plus they have burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, and dessert. DONT SLEEP ON THE MEAT SAUCE. Thats where they really shine, New Way has the BEST meat sauce in the area, and its not very close. Downlown Glens Falls location is open late too ✌️
So after moving from downtown Saratoga to downtown Glens Falls, I heard there was a local favorite chain that served dirt dogs. Ive bee a fan of that style of hot dog ever since my father took me to Guss near Albany as a teen. For those who dont know a dirt dog, is typically a smaller sized dog with mustard, onions, and house made meat sauce. Its an delicious combo that one needs to eat to understand. Its not quite a chilly dog, its its own thing. New Way lunch makes an exceptional dirt dog. Right up there with Guss.What really sets the two apart is the diner style seating, pies, fries, and onion rings. All of which Guss offers none of. After my first trip, Im definitely a customer for life. Great food, great customer service, comfortable atmosphere. Whats not to love?
New Way Lunch is not a fancy place to have a meal bit you cant find better hotdogs with the works around.

Following an afternoon of golf with my grandsons, we stopped in for burgers, fries and rings. Great food and service. Listen to your grandkids, they have good input, we will return. Love supporting local.

Fast and friendly service without sacrificing food quality. The cheese fries used actual liquid cheese, not the shredded nonsense. Definitely a hidden gem for someone who is not from the area. Will make it a point to go back during next years trip upstate!

Food was great as always! Best part was the younger kids working were so kind, helpful, and playful with my 5 year old. They used their tip jar money to buy her a ton of songs to dance too. That’s just sweetness! They were just awesome even with it being closing time. Clean, the cook probably changed his gloves 13 times in the 45 minutes we were there as every time he changed jobs he changed gloves! Talk about mindful cleanliness... he was diligent. Great staff, great food! Family favorite!

Things have certainly changed due to covid, and I was slightly disappointed with the service I received today. Waitress was short and curt and basically acted as if she couldnt be so bothered. Hopefully she was just having an off day.

Probably the best hotdogs on earth. Any time I come up to visit the family I have to go here and get 2 with the works and a small fry. Everything is very affordable and the place is clean. Helpful and kind staff too.

Hot dogs and meat sauce (which everyone raves about) were absolutely average and they were warm, not hot. I would recommend this for a cheap meal and a quick bite. Thats about it, I can make this at home for the same price and have more to eat.
Love this place. Been going to this location since it opened. Local legend and we love the dogs. Great service as usual. Nothing like it. If you are in the area give it a try.
Not a fan of the new hot dogs, they are rubbery and still overpriced. Dont expect to get a cell phone signal here, especially if you have Verizon. One bar. Just for laughs, ask them for a WiFi connection. They will suggest you leave and go up the road to Starbucks.
The Queensbury Glen St. Restaurant is sooooooo slow....if u have a drive thru ya got to be faster!
Quick pleasant service at the walk up window. Very considerate since it was raining and they knocked out our order quickly. The hot dogs were tasty enough. Always friendly employees.

The compete disregard for their customers safety and will being was very disappointing. While they did have masks on, they were down below their noses and even below their mouths while serving our food.

Absolutely flawless execution on the classic hot dog joint. Soft buns, meat sauce bursting with flavor, perfect amount of mustard and onions. Our server Carla was so sweet, and even the chef was so happy and kind. Absolutely going to be coming back again and again.

This was my first visit and I was very happy with the service. They were very attentive and offered to refill our drinks without having to be asked. Our food came to us quickly, too. I also really appreciate that they have different size orders for their onion rings and fries, which is something I think all restaurants should do.

This location has been around a while. I grew up going to the original location in Glens Falls, and I was glad when this one opened up because I really have no need to go into downtown Glens Falls when I visit Lake George.This place has captured the feel of the original, and their hot dogs are still amazing. You just go in and order them with everything. Thats chili, mustard and onions. They are easy to eat, so I suggest if you are a big guy, get at least three.

Dirt dogs are the only thing I miss about living in NY. They are the best hot dog on the planet, but they cant make up for the sky high taxes and insane gun laws. Luckily I only had to move a couple hours east to find lower taxes and more freedom, dirt dogs are only a day trip away!

Been here twice now. My son ordered the haddock 👍 which came with cole slaw 👎 and fries 👍. I got the chicken tenders 😐 (which also came with fries 👍) with a side of tzatziki sauce 😐 and nacho cheese 👍. We shared a slice of chocolate cream pie 👍😛👍. Service was ok; I think our server was still being trained. Atmosphere was pleasant.

I had the works, the works, the works, and a Stewarts Root Beer. While a hometown USA (Glens Falls) favorite, I am rating the Queensbury location. What I did not expect on this visit was super friendly, courteous, and very quick service but that is just what we got. Really great service from a charming waitress.Atmosphere: Clean with a fresh scent of Perros de la Tierra. Oh wait, maybe thats the smell of my burp.Overall rating: five dogs out of five
The food is very good as usual the employees there are very nice and kind Ive been eating here since Ive done 5 years old my dad told me that the place New Way Lunch back in his younger times you can get 5 hot dogs for $0.05 I think he said what a soda its an awesome restaurant.
