Vicki & Roberto at Heirloom provide good, old-fashioned personal service matched with experience and professionalism. The five rugs they just cleaned for us came back bright & fresh with colors looking vibrant & new. A few older rugs needed repair. Heirloom did that too, adding years to the life of these rugs. Communication was excellent. When you call a real person, who is interested in helping you answers. So nice.

Excellent job! Both rugs, one is all wool and the other is a synthetic mix, were thoroughly cleaned and looked fantastic when I got them home and unrolled them. This is NOT a cheapo rug cleaning with a machine swirling around or powder sprinkled on and vacuumed up. This is a real deep cleaning /rug shampooing kind of operation. Roberto and Vicki were very accommodating and fairly priced. I brought my rugs to them and Roberto unloaded and loaded them into my car. Vicki greeted me and took care of all my questions. They called when ready 7-10 days. I will use them again and would highly recommend them!!

This is an easy review to write. I called Heirloom and spoke with Vicki, who walked me through the process and left me with great confidence in Heirlooms ability to properly care for our oriental carpets. She was very accommodating about timing for pick-up and delivery.Vicki also advised watching several of the short videos on their site, which I did. They provided me with a real education on rug construction and the proper care and feeding of a nice rug. Bottom line...dont be afraid of getting a beautiful oriental rug completely wet. Its the only way to clean it down to its foundation and Heirloom has all the facilities for properly removing the water and drying it.Roberto and Francisco showed up right on time to take all the carpets and dispose of all the pads (which were deteriorating from age). They carefully moved all furniture and even offered to vacuum the dust under the pads! (I declined...Im capable of at least vacuuming.) I asked about stopping by their plant in Glenview and they were happy to show me around and explain the process. I even saw similar rugs in the process of being cleaned and observed our rugs on the drying rack. By the way, Roberto is a walking encyclopedia on the subject of oriental rugs.Shortly thereafter, the rugs and new, pre-cut pads were delivered back to us, again right on time. They shined...deep, rich colors fully restored. Roberto and Francisco got them all properly positioned and moved all of the furniture back in place.Pricing was exceptionally reasonable. Combined with the great service and the quality work, they created enormous value. We obviously recommend Heirloom very highly and will undoubtedly use them again. We also like the idea of supporting a local business...it builds loyalty in both directions.

THE BEST! Heirloom is a very honest and caring company and Id highly recommend them to anyone who has a rug to clean. My 9 x 12 Oriental was picked up (free) and they discovered areas of rotting on my rug at their facility. They emailed me 6 or 7 detailed pics of the rotted-torn places and suggested that cleaning it might damage the rug further. Heirloom said that they would back the damaged places on the rug with latex to strengthen it--I had paid $100 for a down payment on the cleaning. They said the $100 deposit would pay for the backing. Brought it back to me on time and it looked fabulous!
