I used riverside auto to get my snow tires put one and an overall check up on my car. First off, this place was a life saver! My current tires were shot and I need to get my tires replace ASAP! Unfortunately every other place in the valley wasn’t able to service my car for a week at least. Riverside was able to have my car back to me in just a few hours. Alex was fantastic and called me as soon as the tires were on and gave me an update on other things that could be fixed without being that awful “salesy” type. Overall I felt respected and well taken care of at riverside and not to mention it was AFFORDABLE! Will certainly be taking my car back in the future!

Jeremy and the rest of the staff at Riverside were fantastic - they diagnosed the urgent repairs as well as the less urgent on an older car that isnt worth putting much money into. I appreciate that they had a frank conversation about what repairs were needed (and they were ones I could do myself!) and worthwhile, and ended up not charging me anything.

I would recommend them to anyone. Top notch.

I usually don’t spend my time reviewing businesses and understand mistakes can be made but what I discovered under the hood after I had it serviced is inexcusable. After driving the car for a time, when I stopped I could smell a plastic or rubber burning smell. It continued whenever I drove the car. So I opened the hood and discovered that the air intake housing was not reinstalled and was wedged between the front pulley and the serpentine belt. I took pictures of it but it appears this forum doesn’t allow them to be posted. My recommendation is not to trust the work done and open your hood and inspect everything before you leave......

I have taken my 1989 Honda to Riverside Import Auto since it was new. It is is still in good shape at 198,000 miles thanks to their dependable service. No reason to go anywhere else, worth the drive from Edwards.

I love the guys at Riverside. First, I grew up with a brother who is a mechanic so I have some knowledge of cars and appreciate talking through an issue. And I have an Element that has mystery issues (Ive taken it to 5 different shops and no one can figure it out). When I take it in to Riverside they take the time to ask me about what the car is doing, run diagnosis but evaluate what the computer says against what Im telling them or what they know of the car, and try to figure it out instead of jumping to a conclusion and having me pay for some repair that doesnt fix the problem (like some of the other shops I went to). I come away feeling like they get that its not something obvious, are thoughtful about figuring it out and actually enjoy our talking through it.

I have been going to Riverside Import Auto for 6 1/2 years, and I plan to continue doing business with them for many more years. My car essentially broke down on my way to Aspen on a short business trip and had to leave Friday morning for an appointment in Colorado Springs I could not cancel. Holiday weekend had everyone booked but Riverside Auto made time for me to get me back on the road safely.My part was flown in from CA and arrived next day. They did the work on schedule and as promised. However, there was a large puddle of water where my car sat waiting on the part. They investigated it and my water pump broke. This was discovered at 2:30 Thursday afternoon. The owner had dinner plans after they closed at 5 and the mechanic had plans. They both cancelled their plans and stayed till 7 pm to make sure my car was repaired and was safe to drive over the mountains.When I came to get my car at 7 and make payment to the owner, the mechanic had just come into the office after cleaning up and I thanked him for his kindness to be willing to stay after hours to get me on the road safely at 6am next mooring. His reaction I will not forget. He said with relief I feel much better knowing you will be safe on the road tomorrow. I could not let you drive your car like that.The owner and the mechanic definitely put great pride and care into their customers and their work. Stopped in on a cross country trip back to Wisconsin when I was concerned about my tire pressure. It was 5 minutes to close and they made sure everything was fine with my Forester before I moved on. Great guys, knowledgeable, and honest!

These guys always do a great job. Recently I discovered that the headlights on my Toyota Prius were not working right. I was in a bind and needed it ready for a road trip in less than a week. The dealer in town told me that the earliest they could get me in would be over a week. I called Jeremy and he scheduled me for a couple days later. But, he didnt stop there he said, if you can bring it in today we can determine if we need to order parts. I took it in that afternoon and guess what - they fixed it on the spot. I know that I should not expect them to drop work for other customers just to accommodate me but, I continue to be impressed with the way they treat me like someone they really care about and their service is done in a very professional manner. And, its always a treat to talk with Jeremy and Allen. Riverside is my go to place.

Brought my 2002 high mileage Tacoma in for routine service. The crew at Riverside diagnosed a potentially dangerous situation with my rear brakes and called me right away. They adjusted their schedule and made time to take care of this unforseen issue. Kept me informed the whole time and were very honest and reasonable about the costs. Everything turned out great and I hate to think what might have happened if they did not notice this.

Its been 3-4 years but my memory is clear. While on a ski vacation and a long way from home, Riverside took great care of our RX300 and the funky engine part we needed. Cant say enough good/positive about them. A class operation.

They are straightforward, honest and stand by their work. I will not take my cars anywhere else. Do yourself a favor, take your vehicle to another shop, get a service estimate for the work and then take it to Riverside and do the same, you will not regret it.

These guys are friendly and helpful. Jeremy runs a great shop and they know what they are doing. They will take the time to show you what is wrong and explain it to you, instead of just telling you that something is wrong and now you need to shell out a bunch of money.

I had by battery go bad but was finally got my car started. I drove to Riverside Auto and Jeremy came out tested the battery and confirmed what I believed. He said he could replace the battery right now if I wanted to and of course I did. When they were replacing the battery they found out my brakes were close to having no brake pad at all and replaced that also. All this without an appointment. I was leaving for Eagle to fly out for a conference and this was Great Service. I cant imagine being stuck on the highway and missing my flight. Thanks Jeremy and Al.

I have been taking our cars (a Toyota and a Honda) to Riverside for many years though I bought both at dealers in Glenwood Springs. One story sums it up for me, though it makes me look kind of dumb!. We had a 30,000 mile service done on our 4Runner but a long period of time elapsed, paperwork was lost, memory faded and it appeared a year or two later that it was time for a major service (runs about $1,500 on a 4Runner). I called up Riverside and made an appointment. The day of the service I got a call from Allen saying that when they looked at the car that it appeared that the required services had already been performed. They took the step of calling the local Toyota dealer who verified that we had done the 30k service at Toyota the year before. You can imagine what a less than honest shop could have done to me. Allen called me up and told me I didnt need an expensive service but only an oil change. Saved me over $1,500. nuff said! Theyre the best!

I originally tried this place years ago because I was told by someone at the Auto Dealership that there were several big issues with my car that would cost a lot to fix. When I brought my car to Riverside for a second opinion the guys there told me that what the other guy at the dealership had told me was not true and my car was fine. Since that time I have been bringing my car here for everything except warranty issues. They take good care of my car and let me know when things are coming up that will need to be fixed.
