We had a great experience shopping at this location. I have shopped at the warehouse stores in Denver before but i have always seemed almost pressured to buy being hounded by the sales people. Valarie was great help here, she acknowledged us from the beginning but gave us time to look around and space to do so. Once we made up our mind she walked us through the whole purchase and delivery options and made it painlessly easy. I will definitely go again for my furniture needs.

Staff was helpful and attentive, not too pushy. Girls at the front were nice and knowledgeable. Definitely a good choice to shop local. Theyve stayed consistent over the years. We will return next time we need to buy new.

This place is amazing! We have used them a lot recently for furnishing our apartment! They are by far the most affordable place in Glenwood Springs to get good quality furniture! The staff members are always friendly and helpful! We literally spent hours in this store marveling at all of the options we had! Even though they ship most of their stuff in, I really dont mind waiting a few days! Its totally worth it! Love this place and would highly recommend this store to everyone!

I traveled an hour (one way) to this location after I had traveled an hour (one way) to go to the Junction location the day before. Spent an hour in both stores and was never asked if I needed help at either location. At least a sales associate in this store said hello to me. Too bad it was only because my looking at couches disturbed her hiding in a back corner playing on her phone, and she walked by too quickly for me to even ask for help. It wasn’t even busy at either location. Congrats on letting a $1500 sale walk right out the front door!

Experienced the best customer service ever today when the delivery team from AFW went above and beyond carrying a king size mattress up our 400 yard driveway, which is very steep and very icy. The truck couldnt make it up the hill and rather than taking a chance of damaging the mattress by putting it in the back of a feed truck, they carried it all the way up that hill. Wish I had been able to give them a $100 tip, they deserved it. Have called the store and asked that they be recognized. What great ambassadors they are for AWF.

Love going to AFW in Glenwood Springs. The staff is very friendly, and helpful in finding decoration items Im looking for. Also every knowledgeable on whats in their store and if it isnt how to get it there for a reasonable price.

Ms. Claudia Siegel, it was your mistake that you charge me twice for the same item, not mine. This lady made a mistake with some furniture that I bought, a black tub-chair and bookshelf. She duplicated one item and charged me twice for it on my debit card but didnt charge me for the bookshelf. When I went to the back to pick up my purchased items I realized that she had made a mistake. My receipt said that I bought 2 tub-chairs, which was wrong. I went back to the store so they can fix the error and I saw Claudia still at the register. So I walked towards her thinking that she could help me since she was not helping other customers and especially since she made the transaction. As soon as she saw me she pointed me with a very rude manner to the direction of someone at customer service (Im not sure her name). Claudia didnt ask if everything was okay, did even say anything. She just pointed in a different direction. So I explained the mistake to customer service and this person immediately starts the returning process to my debit card for the tub-chairs. She then told me that I should be receiving my refund soon. So I had no chair or bookshelf. I had to explain myself one more time that I wanted the chair AND the bookshelf not 2 chairs. At that point Claudia, who was nearby listening, realized that she had made a mistake and called me to her work station and started talking to me! Now that she realized that she screwed up she started her robotic customer service script with me while she was fixing her mistake. By this point Im not interested in receiving her fake customer service or listening to anything she had to say. I paid for my two items and left. This feedback is not about a mistake that Claudia made. We are all human. It is about the way she treated me when I went back inside. I came back to AFW because I believe in second chances but Claudia ruined it. Do not count on me returning again.

My family and I visit this store and had a horrible time. We purchased a coat hanger that would not install correctly and returned it for an exchange. We were told that it was repaired and we can take it back, but it didnt even make it to my truck. The person that repaired it, broke it and tried to hide it and give it back to us. We also purchased a large glass wall art and was told that it would be wrapped, boxed and placed into our vehicle. We pulled up to pick it up and it was not boxed or wrapped and the person loading it up was no help at all. My wife and I had to figure out a way to safely fit this picture into our vehicle on our own. We will never visit this store again or shop online.

We always go to the AFW in Glenwood Springs and the assiciates are always very helpful! We have purchased just about all of our furniture from there. Doug was very helpful in during our search for a new dining room table and bed!

I went in to buy a bed. Walked around for 30 minutes, passed several employees, none of which acknowledged me. Finally asked for help and the guy just pointed me in the direction and walked away. I went next door to The Denver mattress company, I was greeted right as I walked in. They were very helpful, had better prices and more of a selection. Ended up buying a bed from them and will most likely never shop at American Furniture Warehouse again.

I just moved to Glenwood Springs from Denver and needed furniture for my new house. After having a bad experience with the denver store I was hesitant to go back but I did and Bob was awesome! He helped me get everything I wanted before Christmas. Thankyou for having great employees like Bob 😁

Good value! Researched online and found the best deal was in my back yard. Have Trevor help you. Hes great and not pushy. Plus they have a solid return policy if Im not happy with the bed. Order was sent and delivered on time. It was pretty funny actually, they only had one left. Myself and another couple was interested in it. So Trevor raced up to the front and snagged it...lol. Needless to say, the other couple drove all the way from Montrose, so I gave it to them anyway and waited a couple days for one to come from Denver. Thanks Jake Jabs!!!

I’ve shopped here since this place opened. It is run so poorly. They have the rudest staff ever. And I’m not a very sensitive person. But the manager Dwight is the biggest jerk I have ever met. I hope he doesn’t get placed at a different store because he is an awful person. The district managers should let this jerk go!

DO NOT TRUST AFW!!!!! They delivered furniture to my house on 1/10/19 and damaged my fridge. I told them about the damage right away as I saw him do it and he took pictures to send to claim department. I just talked to Juan from the claim department and said that they will not cover damages after review and statements from the delivery people. He provided me no information as to why it was not being covered and did not provide me with their statements. He also would not let me speak to his boss or give me his last name.

American Home furniture is the only place we would want to get furniture prices are great service is wonderful delivery service is even better if you want Furniture to fill your home or rental property this is the place to get it

With living in the Aspen Valley it can be difficult to find home furnishings at decent price for what it is. This store has such a great variety of many different things! From great prices on all their accessories, very comparable prices and quality on rug selection, from fine bedroom/dining to the stuff you put together yourself. Love that this company doesnt sell things for more than what theyre worth really. Any sales associate i have spoken with has been incredibly helpful and made my familys shopping experience very pleasent. I always find myself coming in just to see what is new and happening. Great place to kill some time and get cool ideas! Youll never know what youll find!

My wife and I had just moved to Colorado. When we arrived in Glenwood Springs after a three-day road-trip, we immediately stopped at AFW to buy a bed for our new apartment to limit the length of time wed have to sleep on a floor. Upon entering the store, the only thing we knew was that we wanted a posture-pedic mattress. Doug, the associate, guided us to the perfect mattress. He lay with us on the bed and introduced us to the kinds of dreams wed have sleeping on a Sealy. It was like he sculpted a mattress right out of our supine bodies. He then helped us pick out boxsprings and a headboard. Hes amazing. The stores slogan should be: AFW: You havent slept until youve slept with Doug!

I have purchased furniture from the folks at the Glenwood AFW over the years and they have been great. I really feel like I got a great value for the money. One of our chairs was damaged during dlelvery with a very small cut in the fabric - They replaced and delivered a replacement straight away. Id recomend AFW Glenwood Springs to anyone looking for nice folks and a good value. Im glad there is a AFW store in our town - very valuable to the Glenwood Springs area.

I went into the store with my granddaughter today....looking for full house of items....bed/dining/living room.......we were offered help by a gentleman in back......but there was a woman with short red hair...I did not get her name, sorry to say......but she was rude and looked at us as if we were going to walk out with something.....I am just 160 lbs......I just could not imagine carrying out a sofa hidden under my shirt......lol.......she past us several times....we spent an hour shopping.......when I go back to buy my items, I will not allow her to take care of us.

Horrible customer service. Went to go buy a new bed, spent half an hour looking, and not one person came to help us. Ended up leaving and spending my money elsewhere.

Looking for a futon. No luck.

American furniture really knows how to make their money back, they dont have the furniture at the store and thats how charge you a $100.00 dollars extra for the delivery charge on a $ 300.00 couch, ouch and thats not all you need to stay home and wasted a whole day waiting for them and finally they called you telling you the truck is an accident will reschedule, ahhh please do not trust these people.
