The bike shop mechanics are super nice! The guy helping me out was available immediately, and let me watch him fix the bike, so not only did I get my bike fixed, I now know how to do it myself next time. Thank you :)

This place is great! Its connected to Sunlight Ski Resort and Im a season pass holder there. Ive never had a bad experience at the shop and the people who work there are always friendly, knowledgeable, and super helpful!

Walked in on a whim to see if I could get my shifters repaired. Parker immediately threw my bike on the rack even though it was already 5pm with a 5:30 closing time. After a quick diagnostic he told me he would need a little more time. By noon the next day my bike was like new by replacing my shifter. The service was great, the folks super friendly and they did not hesitate to work on my 30yo bike. Thanks also goes to Ethan who also helped with the repairs.

Best experience at a bike shop!!Was scheduled for service on Monday, but dropped it off Sunday....got distracted by guitar player in the square next to the shop, and after to a friends on Blake St. For ice tea & watermelon, when much to my surprise...got a txt from Sunlight that my bike was ready!!Sounds too go to be true, but it happened! Really nice folks, and wasnt over charged!! If anything I was under-charged! Pinch me I think Im dreaming! High recommendation!!Thanks again guys 👀😎🌵JR

All of the reviews said THE BEST, and they really were THE BEST! These folks have the best rates for rental equipment, and the quality is decent. We got three snowboards/boots and a helmet (which do not come with goggles BTW) and they were all fine quality for the price. You really cant beat it, plus every person working there was genuinly happy to see someone come through the door. Its right in town, you can hit it on your way to Sunlight Mountain.

I highly recommend not giving Sunlight Ski and Bike Shop your business. I took my road bike in for a simple tire fix. They up sold me on a more expensive package and then failed to fix the tire. I took it back in and they charged me $8 for the tube to complete the work that should have been included in my previous $88 transaction. And the staff were complete jerks about the whole thing!

Great customer service and fair pricing for ski and snowboard rentals. They were fun and very patient with our 4 kids while being fit for boots, skis, & boards. The ski boots fit very comfortably and they were quick to get us set up for a great family ski day. Thanks guys!

These guys are amazingly efficient Pleasant in very very professional.... the owner is a top-notch guy who is totally committed. I came in there on a bind and they wanted to help me right away. They did. I run a bicycle rental company in Tucson and I marveled at their efficiency. Great work!

Went looking to buy new ski boots. They had good selection and when I found what I wanted they were willing to price match a lower price from an online retailer I showed them. Looking forward to skiing Sunlight later this year.

Website looks like it was built in the 90s, you cant order anything on line Access Denied. Might want to invest in hiring a teenager to update your web site :)Called but that seems pretty difficult to reserve anything. You have to go to the store.I am not sure about there service, couldnt get that far. Went elsewhere if its that hard to do business with this store.

Had a seriously stuck cog on a Rohloff internally geared hub. The bike mechanics at Sunlight managed to get together enough people, tools, and leverage to finally break it free. They did this for me as a walk-in quickly for a small fee. Big thanks to the crew!

First time I came in had 2 really helpful employees, second time I came in had someone who told me to go to a different store in aspen. Store is hit and miss and expertise will be based on who you talk to.

On a whim, I decided to rent a bike to ride in Glenwood Canyon (note that I am neither fit nor a cyclist). Adam was incredibly nice and helpful. He adjusted a bike for me, showed me how to get it in and out of the car and advised me wisely where the best spots to ride would be for me. Will definitely return to Sunlight should I ever pass this way again!

The boyfriend and I took our skis here to get waxed and the edges sharpened. We were both pretty disappointed with the service. When we went to drop our skis off no one acknowledged or helped us right away. There was a girl there that was doing absolutely nothing but did not offer to help us (during both visits). Someone gave us the forms to fill out and told us our skis would be ready the next morning at 8am. We were ready to hit the mountain by 9am when we got a call from the shop saying neither skis had been sharpened and it would be another hour. When we when to pick them up there was five guys standing behind the counter talking. No one stopped talking to approached us... what happened the customer comes first? It honestly felt like they would get to us when they were done with their conversation. Such a difference from the shop at the Sunlight ski resort. Worth the drive for people who actually appreciate your business. And that is what we will be doing next time!

End of season, September, and I arrived to bike the Canyon, having left my bike shoes back in Denver!Sunlight Ski and Bike Shop rescued me with sound advice, quick service, and even a couple of pairs of mountain bike shoes to choose from: my size, at a terrific sale price. They immediately popped in the cleat screws in my new shoes, and I was off to a great day. Interesting and varied products; great staff.

The folks at sunlight mountain sports shop are some of the best and friendly people that can meet. They take care of you and treat you like your friends!

On our family vacation I managed to drag my sons bike and my bike behind my camper. I called Sunlight and then stopped in. Kevin took the time to rework my bike and had a new rim for my sons bike and got it up and going. Thanks for saving us while we were far from home. The price was super reasonable. Thanks again. The work they do here is in itself pretty good, the remount and tune I got was pretty good but, heres where the fun for me ended. The pricing here is insane! $45 for a remount is completely ridiculous, I got a remount from another local shop and got it for $25! Sorry but, that price is completely insane. The tune was the same story, way way too much. Another large complaint is with their service, I walked in on a day that wasnt that busy, 2 other costumers who seemed to be together and I. It took me almost 45 minutes to recieve my skis! Crazy! I was happy with the tune but, the pricing and the service are just bad. Dont really recommend.

James, the Sales & Tech guy at the sunlight store was really nice and genuine. I just stood staring at the skies, completely lost and he explained all the differences and why for each type of ski. I learnt to ski years ago and havent skied since. So Id put myself in the beginner section. James helped with everything and had the patients to spend with me, without being any kind of salesman. No pushy sales at all! Great store! I would like them to extend their clothing line to include North Face, Salomon and Columbia though!

Cashier was extremely rude to us. We went in to rent a snowboard and boots. We asked if the boots and snowboard package could be split between two people and were told yes. When we went to ring up and told them they got angry with us and were very rude saying that we couldnt do that.They dont understand customer service and could have been nicer in explaining the issue, or at least could have talked to the employee who told us we could do that. But instead they got rude and angry with us.

I had a similar experience to Ian, the 1 star review. Very poor communication on the stores end. The bike was not fixed when they said it was. Never received promised phone calls and bike was never ready when I was assured it would x 4 times. Now waiting over two months to have a fully functional bike. I really wanted to like this shop as I am a local and I like the idea of the shop but at this point I cant recommend.

Just picked up my bike from having a rear rack installed. 10 bolts total - probably took about 15 minutes tops and is about as difficult as changing a tire. $51 charge; ~5 bucks per bolt. Way over-the-top pricing. Caveat emptor. Taking my future business elsewhere. Suggest you do as well unless you want to be charged usurious rates.

The one star is generous after dropping my bike off twice to get brakes put on that were not fit for my bike and then they couldn’t put fat tires on. They broke my bike and I had to ride home with a wobble tire......they didn’t even apologize they left my bike at the front door.

Three strikes youre out. I am a local and have had terrible experiences with this store and their staff. (Aside from a cheery checkout girl)1. Incorrectly mounted binding. One screw was loose and the boots had obviously never been set in the bindings for adjustment.2. Brought the skis back. Was told the hole had to be redrilled. Then they tried to hassle me and charge me for it again.3. Brought a bike in for adjustment, quoted $20-40, charged $55 and the talked down to by the mechanic/manager. Im not convinced any work was even done!Take your goods elsewhere unless you enjoy a catching an attitude from guys doing subpar work.

Always up-to-date on local conditions. Id advise them for biking or skiing.

Im from Florida, but am an avid snow skier, mnt biker, etc and have explored most every resort area, mountain in the western US. Sunlight Ski & Bike is the primary reason I continue to almost exclusively (now) return to Glenwood Springs and the Roaring Fork Valley to fill/meet my adventure fix. This Ski/Bike shop is like no other! The level of personal svc, equipment/selection, expertise, price/deal @ Sunlight Ski & Bike is simply phenomenal. Having and using the right technical equipment out west is essential.....and the equipment is constantly changing, improving! Kevin, Russel & Adam are equipment Gurus.... and their staff of technicians @ Sunlight can and will Dial You In to fit + match you and your level of ability, experience, etc to the precise environmental conditions (snow, weather, terrain, river/rapids, etc) prevalent at that particular moment. Do not try, think, neglect or attempt to fool/screw with Mother Nature! You can/will DIE pronto! Therefore - this equipment analysis and match is critical and allows one to first be safe, but to then fully maximize the WOW factor experience Mother Nature has so infinitely blessed and made so readily available in the surrounding R.F. Valley!! Sunlight Ski & Bike simply allows you to extract the primo experience and with NO doubt provides the biggest BANG for your Buck! Cant rate these guys/gals @ this pro shop high enough! Try them once and you will SEE & FEEL the difference.

Lame! Called ahead to find out how much ski tune costs, was told by Nick its $45, and if it needed any ptex on the core it was included. Drove half hour down and was told Oh, you need core work done, thats an extra $15. Nickel and dime the tourists if needed, but to do it to locals is totally lame. Booooo!
