If I could give zero stars, I would. The front desk could not properly confirm my insurance benefits. Then the eye tech who was testing my son was incredibly rude. She was not helpful and had no patience with my 6 year-old. They did not have time to do what they needed to do so we left without getting anything done. Do not waste your time. Drive a bit further for eye care, especially for kids.

I had the absolute BEST customer service experience here! My family is from Utah and was visiting the Carbondale area over the Labor Day weekend. My daughter wears daily contacts and we discovered late Friday night after arriving in town that she had forgotten to bring any more contacts! We had no idea what to do since it was a holiday weekend, and we didnt even have a doctor there.I found 20/20 EyeCare online, one of the ONLY places open on a Saturday, and gave them a call. I told them our situation. They said they would be happy to give us some trial pairs of contacts, but they had to have a valid prescription. We tried calling our eye doctor in Utah, but of course, they werent open. I called 20/20 EyeCare back, and they said that even though they were completely booked all day, they would squeeze us in for an exam so that they could then give us some contacts.We raced over to the clinic, and they were already waiting for us, ready to do the exam! I thought for sure wed have to wait quite a while (and was happy to do it since they were doing us such a huge favor!). While we were driving over, though, my husband finally managed to catch someone at our eye clinic at home who was able to send us the prescription, and we didnt need to do the exam after all. Alejandra and the rest of the staff at 20/20 were just incredible. They gave us a supply of trial contacts, even though we werent patients there, and were so kind and helpful.My 15-year-old daughter was so relieved to not have to spend the rest of the weekend blind! I couldnt believe the level of service and help this clinic provided to people who didnt even live there. We were just blown away! They told us if we ever needed any other help anytime we were in town, theyd be happy to help us out. They turned an extremely stressful situation into such a positive customer service experience that we went away feeling so relieved and grateful. Should you need eye care services, I would highly recommend this place!

I accidentally put contact cleaner solution in my eye.I mistook it for regular solution. It was burning and stinging like crazy I felt like my eye was going to melt out. I went in to ask for help. But instead I got made fun of and laughed at. I get it was my mistake but I was in excruciating pain and just needed help. I felt so disrespected and humiliated by the staff that I would never go there again or recommend anyone going there. They showed no empathy and let me walk out there blind an without any help.

We were visiting from out of town showed up and they fixed my moms glasses quickly and no charge.

Tim did an incredible job selling and fitting glasses for myself and my daughter. Dr. Robinson was friendly and very professional. I felt very welcomed when I walked in for an appointment by the receptionist.

I absolutely recommend Dr. Strautman at 20/20. He was extremely professional, friendly and caring.

Stellar customer service. The staff is really friendly. I lost one of my contact lenses while swimming and unfortunately was not carrying an extra pair. Alejandra went above and beyond to help me get the right pair of contact lenses.

Great experience with 2020! Destiny first greeted me took me back and was very kind and professional. Did all the tests and went over my history.Dr. Swayne was happy and upbeat! Finished off the appointment with purchasing a new pair of glasses with Ziek. Overall great experience this visit and past visits. They also helped remove metal shards from my husbands eye on a previous visit. 20/20 stars!

I recently had 4 pairs of glasses provided by 20/20, Carbondale, Colorado. I worked extensively with Linda Menard. She assisted me in finding great new frames as well as sorting out and updating two other frames. Her patience is just one of her great attributes. Another is her 25 years in the business. Clearly she loves what she does and is extremely adept at her profession!I am super happy with her service, the quality of 20/20s products and the great special they are running through December, 2018.

I am so impressed with the level of customer service that 20/20 Eye Care has developed. I have been going there for some time now and it never gets worse but seems to always get better. The people who work there always put the customer first and the doctors that work there are some of the best I have ever encountered. Without a doubt we are very fortunate to have their presence in our community. I also would like to mention and give good accolades to Stu and Bertha.

Dr. Zwelling is a terrific doctor, and Ive always had a great experience here, both on the clinic side and the shop. I read several of the one-star ratings. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but Ive never had anything resembling the experience described in those reviews. In close to 15 years of wearing glasses, I have had five optometrists, including one other one here in the Valley. 20/20 has given me the best overall service. I really like my doctor, and I like the place. Recommend.

Would give them more stars if possible! I was in Colorado for a wedding. This is the one time I failed to pack extra contacts with me and of course my glasses somehow as well. And of course I dropped a contact down the sink. I went to 20/20 not knowing what to even expect, if they could help, how much is this gonna cost, will my vision insurance transfer from out of state.. you get the idea. They reached out to my optometrist and got my contact script faxed over quickly. The doctor I saw then preceded to do a checkup to make sure everything was correct on the script which is more than generous. Also note they were extremely busy and MADE time for me. I was happy to pay a good amount out of pocket but ended up paying ZERO. Helpful, friendly, professional. I highly recommend them!!!

Integrity is not something we encounter in this world often anymore, but that is what I experienced at 20/20 Eye Care. Everyone was genuinely kind and considerate, especially Dr Strautman. He was not only interested in me having the best eye care, but he helped me by letting me know about ways to save money on my new glasses. Knowing that I was retired and on a fixed income mattered to him. Diana, who helped me pick my frames, found some that were not as expensive and was very helpful and courteous. The staff at 20/20 Eye Care treat you like family and are not just out to make a buck! Thank you for a good experience and I am and will continue to be a return customer. Absolutely the most incompetent billing dept ever! After 9 months of being billed without them filing a claim, giving them the insurance information...again, being billed again, questioning why, being told oh wait, we need to bill the insurance, being billed again, finding out they billed the wrong insurance, being told the employer wasnt helpful in determining the correct insurance, to being threatened with collections. We finally paid the bill ourselves and will file it with insurance. Never ever again. I find it amazing that the ER visit Valley View on the exact same day was successfully billed to the same insurance provider they were given with zero issues. There are several competent providers in the area, one already started getting my business after dealing with this fiasco.

I am so upset with the service at 20/20 Glenwood Springs CO...When you see a doctor of your choice you want to feel safe. Going to the doctor should feel like you are getting top notch service and to know that you are in good hands make you devoted. They should make you feel that they care about your health!Beware... They have a little game they play there, where they act like they are setting up a follow up appointment but are really being pushy to set up the next appointment to make an extra $100 - $150! This amount changed a couple times? suspiciously....I hope they read this review so that they maybe able to keep good faith in the future with future clients. The Doctor although very good at what he does.. does not have good business dealings or moral and from what I have read from the negative comments on google.. they are suspiciously similar to what I went through.Im not one to give bad reviews but I hope this helps!

I recently moved to Glenwood Springs and chose 20/20 eyecare since they accepted my insurance. They offered me a new brand of contact since I could send in rebates and basically get 6 months for free. I ended up not liking the new brand, so went back in and told them. They set me up with my old brand and didnt make me complete another eye exam. Just gave me a trial pair and ordered me the contacts. Very helpful and nice to work with.

A huge thank you to Dr. Strautman & his staff. While on vacation, I tore my contact and could not get it out. His normal fee was $175 but he reduced it to $99 after hearing about misinformation that Kaiser had given me. In addition, we were staying in Vail & had driven over an hour to get to his office. I spent less than 30 minutes in his office and left with contact removed & my eye feeling much better.

The receptionist as well as Dr.Mark Zilm was highly gracious and helpful in aiding my sister’s ophthalmic situation who were here on a short holiday all the way from Singapore.

I felt that they were very thorough and respectful, as well as timely. I was very impressed with the service i recieved.

We cant say enough great things about 20/20 Eye Care. My wife has seen Dr. Strautman since he joined the group decades ago. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The rates charged for services are more than fair and less than many other eye care offices. Whether you need glasses, contacts, an eye exam, or have an eye issue--he is there to help, he pays attention to all details, and he cares. You dont have to wait long to get an appointment, and once you are in the office, you are greeted by friendly and caring people from beginning to end! My wife and I actually look forward to visiting 20/20 Eye Care!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to 20 20 I came in with no appointment and Kim and the girls at the front desk were so helpful. I thought I had a case of Pink Eye but was a eye infection of sort. Dr Strautman was amazing and very good patient manors which means a lot when you have a medical issue. I left there and got some drops put in by the Dr and given a RX I filled. They want to charge me 341$ for a pair of glasses a hardly wore and I can’t return them at this point cause it’s been too “long” which is ridiculous, y’all about stealing your money 😡

I have been going to 20/20 for a long time and have been treated great. Recently I went in to have a check up done so I could get my sunglasses prescript. While I was there Eric found that there was a problem . He handled the problem very professionally and pretty much saved my life. I had super high blood pressure that showed up in my eyes. He contacted many colleges and ultimately advised me to go to the hospital. Eric went above and beyond for me and I could tell he really cared. He even called me twice on follow up calls just to see how I was doing. It is great to have educated professionals that care on your side.

20/20 has taken care of all my eye care needs for the last 10+ years and they will continue to. Every visit has been a very pleasant experience. I love Dr. Struatman and Dr. Ryan Zwelling. I have even need contacts in an emergency (my wedding day!) and they were willing to give me a pair to get by.

Great service, great Doctor, great cost. Awesome Eye Doctors, I would highly recommend them.

Avoid this place like you would avoid the plague. Terrible experience for me. When a problem with my frames came up they would not help, and were very rude. They would take my money though. They would not help repair, and they even told me that they were going to warranty my old lenses to pay for my new ones that I just gave them $385 for. This place is a scam. My Wife, Myself and my daughter will go someplace else from now on. Thanks for nothing 20/20 eye-care.

Its been really hit or miss with this place. Nobody answers the phone. The staff is has been rude on multiple occasions and stand around chatting in large groups. The doctors are great and the ladies who work on the optical side are great. So I guess the front desk and MAs need to get it together and it would be a great office!

Its sad I have been going to 2020 Eyecare since I was a child and I need to write this review to make my point. The doctors provided great service, however the billing aspect for me had been horrible. I was seen in January of 2016 and was told my visit would be billed properly for insurance coverage. Then I receive a bill last month for $173 saying it wasnt covered and is 90 days past due on my first notice! Why did it take 15 months to let me know? I have tried calling and it seems there is only one billing person who is never there when I have the chance to call. If this isnt resolved I most definitely will go elsewhere and advise all my family and friends to do the same.

I would have to agree with the other 1 star reviews. Please read reviews before going here. One had stated it was like a pawn shop I couldnt agree more with that statement. Over the last 20 years of needing glasses, this by far is the worst place I have gone to. Yeah the we make glasses on site sounds like a big deal, but if you dont need them right away, youre much better off elsewhere.

I have had two bad experiences with this business. They run this practice like an emergency room: over promise, under deliver, and charge what they feel they can get away with. They have done this twice to me. There wont be a third time. I urge you to explore other care, including Dr Erlich and even consider Walmart in Rifle. Read the reviews on 20/20. They should be running a pawn shop.

Always try’s to give me “new and improved” products that do not fit my eyes and doesn’t refund me when they don’t work for me. Also have given me the wrong prescription multiple times causing headaches and nausea .

One major thing I look for in any kind of doctor is that persons ability to relay information to me that is detailed, coherent and relative to my well being. I feel that, when it comes to optometry, Dr. Strautman has filled that role.I wore contacts/glasses for most of my life and used 2020 eye care for over a decade to facilitate the balance I needed to be able to see correctly. Two years ago I had LASIK done with Dr. Spivack via 2020 and couldnt be happier. My vision is superb and all I do now is go in for an annual checkup. I have had a very good experience in dealing with this business and have found the staff that I have dealt with to be very welcoming and helpful.I would highly recommend 2020 to anyone needing a little help with their eyes.

I have a family history of very bad eye issues. They are the only place in the valley that has the equipment to test for it.
