Truly amazing ice cream. Staff were friendly - even at closing time. We were the last customers of the day and still received great service. Large portions. Very unique flavors.

Stopped in after a hike, and we were all impressed with the delicious ice cream! Wed initially picked this place for the small batch artisan ice cream and werent disappointed. They were making fresh waffle cones when we walked in, and they have a big viewing window you can see them making more ice cream through. I appreciated that you could add in toppings to your ice cream, it made it very customizable and fun! Everyone was very friendly, and it was definitely worth it!

Creamy, delicious, and lots of flavors! Staff was friendly, and let us sample everything! The only bad thing was picking a flavor since they were all great!

Omg one of the best Ive e cream places Ive been to in awhile. Theres a line out the door at night and for good reason. The prices are great--only $1 for a waffle cone, $1 for 3(!) toppings and lots of flavorful ice cream options!Definely worth waiting in line for and devouring afterwards hahaSweet staff serving ice cream and vegan option plus sorbets.Seating outside and inside.

They have nice Ive creams and staff is very friendly. Blueberry lavender is the worst. Rest all I tried were good😋

Sunny, cheerful decor and delicious flavors (with a vegan option or two, depending). Sit outside on the patio seating next to the ice cream statue! I appreciated the compostability (I dont think thats a word) of their spoons and containers - and the receptacles available to toss them in.

We were in Glenwood a couple days ago and saw caramelized banana on the sign which sounded amazing. Stopped in today and the only way to get it was in pints so we got one for $8. I wish we would have been able to try it first as it was a big disappointment and tasted only faintly of banana. We threw it out. Staff are friendly and the store is very cute which is why I’m leaving 2 stars.

Long line, but worth the wait. Ice cream was made from scratch and absolutely loved the salted cookies and cream. 4 stars because of the service. I was really hoping for recommendations or to try an alternative flavor, but the staff was to overwhelmed with the line wrapped around the door. This would be a great opportunity for a manager to walk throughout the line and offer samples of some of their flavors. This may also in turn speed up the decision process of the guest, reducing ticket times.

This is not cheap ice cream, but that being said they do a very good job here. Small batch ice cream, interesting flavors, unique menu items. I had the strawberry shake (boring I know) but it had really good strawberry flavor and it was a really good consistency and creaminess. Kiddo had the kid sundae and loved it - she had it with salted Oreo cookie ice cream (see what I mean about interesting flavors). They also have a huge selection of dripped waffle cones. We went back the next night and I got a scoop of vanilla with Carmel (not as good as the shake).

Ice cream is excellent, fun and unique. The cookies and cream waffle cone was great and the toppings were awesome. A little on the pricey side, but worth it for the experience and quality. At one point we saw the line for ice cream was out the door… good indication it’s super yummy! Didn’t disappoint.

I dont usually leave a review for ice cream shops, but this was too good not to. Their waffle cones are the best Ive had, and portion sizes are incredibly generous, even for the steep price. We finished every meal with an ice cream cone from here on our recent trip. Will definitely be back!

Teenage workers too focused on personal issues and not the task at hand. Literally cursing at each other like this is Highschool and not a professional business. Ordered a banana split, received with no banana. Its in the name. Even Had to ask to be serviced, as they gossip and stare at you like your the one in the wrong. Classic case of write-ups and retraining. Good ice cream, bad service.

My wife had chai ice cream and I had an amazing salted cookies and cream. My daughter dropped her ice cream on the ground and they gave her a new one on the house. This time in a cup. 😀

Ordered an ice cream cake for my husbands birthday. It was stellar!! Disappointed about white writing on white icing, but the taste made up for it. Person at register basically said too bad and she doesnt make the cakes. Spiff up that customer service, and it would be 5 star!

Best banana ice cream Ive ever had! It definitely tastes homemade. The chocolate milkshake with peanut butter sauce was excellent too.

Traveling through from out of town and my husband had to stop because he’s been here before. Ordered the strawberry lemon cheesecake sundae based off another review and it was out of this world. Yum! Warning, it is HUGE and only comes in one size. Should have shared this one with family!

Far from Artisan ice cream, fairly standard flavors. Espresso flavor was really good, but chocolate lacked depth/flavor and waffle cone was fairly tasteless and undercooked.

What!?!? Vegan ice cream thats not sorbet? Yep! My family cant get enough of this place when its time for family treat night. Weve tried other ice cream parlours in the area but keep coming back to Sundae as our favorite. I think you will too!

Found this place one night while going to pick up food near it. Went out on a limb and got my wife some salted cookies and cream ice cream and I got myself give me Samoa and vanilla with peanut brittle. The ice cream is made on site and the customer service is wonderful. Went in a few nights later and they remembered my name. Got one of their milkshakes and a brownie sundae. They were both really good. My wife got the salted cookies and cream again. Her favorite ice cream ever is from Union Station in Denver but she says this is a close second and bc she does. Ow know if they make salted caramel peanut butter. If they do I could be in trouble

Love sundae icecream! However the icecream seems to taste better at the vail and Edwards sundae locations. Maybe because the icecream is more melted at this location?

Literally just walked out of this establishment. The employee was picking the goop out of the inner corner of his eyes with his hands and then went to scoop my ice cream. I was going to ask another employee to do it instead and the other employee was eating pieces of an cone and licking their fingers. I was so disgusted I just walked out.

The salted cookies n cream ice cream tastes like it came straight out of the ocean. And not in a good way. The price was as high as my sodium intake.

Very good ice cream and service! Sundae is a fun new place in down town Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Also, there is plenty of room to physically distance yourself from those around you. Or you can eat outside, under the Grand Avenue Bridge on 7th Street.

Great atmosphere, very friendly employees, & clean. We were bummed we couldn’t try different flavors because of COVID-19. We tried the strawberry and it was fantastic, we will definitely go back for more. We also tried the salted cookies and cream and did not enjoy it, it was extremely salty and we could only eat a few bites before getting sick of it. If you don’t enjoy eating salt packs steer clear of that one. 🤪We look forward to trying other flavors in the future.
