Great experience, delightful food. Had the Chili Mac daily special, Club Sandwich, Crab Bisque and Potato Soup. Very much recommend the Club sandwich and Crab Bisque. Chili Mac was good also. The Potato Soup was not to our liking. It was water based rather than cream or milk, gritty rather than creamy, a style I dont really care for... Someone else may love it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. 5 STARS.

The most awesome custard place I know in Godfrey! Not only do they have so many flavors but you can make your own mix concrete or Sunday if you like! The staff is friendly they take your order fast its affordable and really a fun place to be. Its easily located and they have convenient hours sometime theres a wait but its worth it and the line goes fast stop in as soon as you can!

My future son-in-law from New York could not stop talking up the custard here, so we had to try it out. A large is enormous! Way too much for one person. But order up anyway and freeze the extra for later, because you get about twice the contents for only about $1 more. They have some amazing options, including strawberry shortcake, turtle, and something with cookies and peanut butter in it. All very rich and completely delicious. You might just eat so much that you make yourself sick... But it will be worth it.

Delicious custard (best around in my opinion), friendly staff, and very good at moving the drive through line along on a weekend night in the dead of summer. Theres still a wait, but I dont think Ive ever been anywhere for custard or ice cream on a summer night that didnt have a wait!

Their chocolate is the best. They have some good flavor of the days as well. We tend to get their quarts though and enjoy it for the whole week. Also give out pup cones so your furry friends arent forgotten.

They are so fast even when busy. They are alway very pleasant and don’t skimp on the toppings. So worth waiting in the line.

This frozed custard I think is better than Culvers. It was so smooth and creamy. I had the Artic Turtle and the fugde that Shivers uses is this turtleis not the cheap stuff. My husband had frozen custard with chocolate hard shell, peanut butter topping, chocolate chip cookie with whipped topping. He let me have a taste, I dont like whipped cream, but this tasted homemade and not store bought. If you are in Godfred,Illinois check Shivers out.

Overall there ice cream is the best best but if your looking to get good coffee i wouldn’t personally go here I asked for a medium coffee with Carmel and chocolate syrup and sweet cold foam and oat milk and it look nothing like the picture and I asked for everything on top and it was at the bottom and there was no cold foam and the coffee tasted burnt and overall I feel like I wasted my time and money on it.

Espresso and coffee drinks, iced tea, lemonade, many original recipes of custard flavors and even flavor mixes that you can create; doggy cones; great customer service. OPEN YEAR ROUND (except at Christmas break) and worth it at Zero Fahrenheit.

I ordered a concrete this afternoon and when I pulled out on the road and went to eat it they put a fork in it instead of a spoon nice job

Our family loves Shivers. Employees are always very friendly. Service is fast and efficient (even when the drive through line is out to the street). There is something for everyone here and they have a rewards system, too. They serve coffee (Kaldis) and baked goods as well. My favorites: German chocolate sundae and the strawberry dream cake flavor of the day ice cream.

Thus is my wifes favorite place.
