Best....bar none NO market can even come close..if you cannot tell the difference between fresh and stuff in the supermarket...well I would guess that your taste buds were not working...been knowing of the quality for years and now my sons and daughters swear by them...a family tradition WELL worth passing on...a hidden gem try it...you wont be dissapointed
My first time here..Absolutely fantastic...Got me a butcher for life right hereFresh, delicious, personable and know their stuff...Almost didnt wanna reccomend, so I could keep em to myself...Super worth the visit
Lucky enough to live down the road from this place. Fantastic selection of fresh and frozen, veggies, homemade ice cream, etc. Love it.
Ive been there twice now and both times everyone is very kind and helps me get exactly what I need, if you are doing a BBQ or just looking for some fresh meat definitely give them a call!
What an incredible place. Multiple generations and all very happy and pleased to see us. Our family has been going to Lemay for lamb for over 50 years.
I am lucky enough to live just down the street from this place. I buy all of smoking meats and needs here. Theyre signature Kansas city dry rub is amazing. I usually grad 2 racks of baby back ribs from them... and they are top quality everytime. I never even have to ask them to remove the membrane anymore, they just know to do it for me... just to make things easier. Great small town intimate feel inside. Always happy to shoot the breeze. Plus, they just have that good old NH pro second amendment feel to them. If they ever decided to dabble in supplies and ammo... it would be the perfect PERFECT one stop shop for everything. Love this place.... cannot say enough great things about them.
This is not our closest processor, but after ours flaked on us we decided to take a chance and arrange this years appointment here and we did not regret it. They did an outstanding job and treated the butchering of our small wethers with as much professionalism and dignity as a full sized steer. The cuts they made were great despite the size of our animals. We really appreciate it, and the vacuum sealing is fantastic. We may drive the extra hour to come again with our next round. Interpersonal service was outstanding as well. Thank you. Would recommend.
The best people and food. Love stopping in for lunch and seeing all they have to offer. Been going there for years and its never changed. Always a great experience!
These guys ( and gals) are amazing! Truly mouth watering selection, and wicked beer selection as well. But I am coming back with a pickup to clear out the sausage coolers... So you better get there before I come back
Have seen good and bad reviews, dropped off our deer today for processing and everyone we encountered was helpful and friendly and efficient, well see what happens when we go to pick it up in a couple weeks
I bought 4 tomahawk steaks from Lemay & Sons for Fathers Day 6/2020 as a surprise for the dads at my barbecue. They were shocked at how big they were but even happier eating them! We slow cooked them on the grill to absolute med rare perfection. Deeelicious & Thank You so much to Lemay & Son & staff.Thia Dumensil
Amzing staff and meat choices and reasonable prices
First, great people!Meat, rubs and marinades have always been excellent!Thank you folks for providing an excellent product and service for so many years!
This place is absolutely great... A nice family run butcher shop with very high quality items. You can taste the difference in any of their beef. Havent tried a sausage yet that wasnt delicious, and they have a bunch. Breakfast sausage is awesome. Ham steaks are fantastic. I havent been disappointed yet. And every employee I have encountered is very nice and personable. Prices are reasonable, close to if not the same as what you get at the major chain grocery stores with the quality far surpassing. Cant recommend this place enough.
I bought 2 rib steaks that i was told was prime. They were as tough as cutting an old shoe.Sorry . I wish there was a great butcher near me ( Londonderry )
Great place to get fresh meats. Awesome friendly people
A little pricey for a hack and slash deer tag depot I feel I like didnt get all my venison If did it by my self. tags are tags wtvr
Ive been raising pigs for over 10 years. I bring my animals here without reservation. Ive tried all the processors in NH and northern MA, Rick and his team are the best. Great customer service and most importantly high quality treatment of my animal from load in to packaging. Retail meats are fantastic also. I run a concession and always buy my burgers from here.
Really happy they are back after a tragic fire. Picked up 2 massive flank steaks today. Some tenderloin and nitrate free bacon. Keep up the great work!
Very disappointed with the prime rib roast we bought there. Asked if he had a 3 rib prime rib roast with plenty of marbling and was told yes by the butcher. The young girl didnt even know if it was grass fed or not. Also said it was Choice. Not even close. Opened it up, hardly any marbling but cooked it anyway. Worst roast ever! Spent $133 for a tough, no flavor piece of meat. We will never go back there again, ever!
Looked like a good selection of meat and drinks. I like that a lot of it was local. Unfortunately I ended up waiting too long for a pound of beef. Tip: Go when you wont run into a lunch or dinner line. To checkout you wait for each order to be cooked and prepped before they will check that person out. So if it takes 7-10 minutes, and there are a few people ahead of you, a short line can still mean a long wait.
Dropped 2 deer off for processing. Called to see if they were ready and was told they were. Drove 50 miles to pick up my venison. Told by the guy at the desk the sausage was not ready. He asked who I talked to and I told him it sounded like a young girl. He rolled his eyes and said must have been Britney. Waited over an hour for them to rush to get the sausage completed. Got home to discover more than half the vacuum packages had holes in them and are full of air. I paid extra for vacuum sealing and got basically meat in what equates to zip lock bags full of air. Called last week to see if my sons euro mount head was ready and was told all the euros were done. Drove 50 miles......guy at the desk goes to get it and comes back and says Paul says you can take it as is but he was planning to finish it this weekend. I told him I called and was told it was ready. Yup.....he said you must have talked to Britney. I dont know who Britney is.....but she needs to learn how to do her Job. Ive wasted lots of time and gas to get the product I pay good money for and have been met with nothing but terrible service and vacuum sealing that is useless. I hunt with a lot of guys and will be telling them all if you care about the wild game you work hard to harvest go someplace other than Lemay and sons.
Super nice staff. Fantastic prices. Cheaper than any other butcher shop in the area. Since it is also the slaughter house.. any cut or thing you want just ask.
We hired Lemay & Sons Beef LLC for my in laws 50th Anniversary. Hunter and Cody did an amazing job and the food was delicious. The pig was tender, the steak tips delicious and the Mac and cheese awesome. They prepped, cooked, cleaned and were very professional and fun to speak with.
I dropped off 60 lbs of boned venison from KSI got back 25 lbs of burger & steak in round packaging with little to no tallow removed from the steaksWhen I open the freezer the damn packages come rolling out.Never again
Ive been here several times since moving to the area, and the food and service are nothing short of fantastic. Meat cuts are available fresh or deep frozen in a vacuum sealed package to help prevent frost-bite. Ive tried everything from their marinaded steak tips to ribeyes, chicken, and sausages and have been more than pleased each time.
Great meat, marinated meat and poultry, and smoked cheese. The daily lunches are great, dont miss the burgers!
Amazing place! High quality food and great people! I would recommend this place to anyone, you will not be disappointed!
Always flavorful. This place has a great selection of marinated meats and is a favorite for their Guinness and Brown Sugar Steak Tips or the Peach Bourbon Chicken.
First time here today. First off, very nice and helpful staff, very welcoming. I picked up some pre-made steak skewers(kabobs), beer infused bratwurst, macaroni salad and, twist pasta salad. Steak skewers were basic and fresh made up of quality beef and nicely chosen produce. The macaroni salad was good and just what you expect from a traditional mayonnaise based macaroni salad. The beer infused brats!!! The best beer brats ive ever had, no contest. Wonderful, well balanced seasoning that starts the taste profile and an unmistakable beer hopiness that finishes it. Definitely returning for these again. The only actual failure was the twist pasta salad which had either raw or underblanched broccoli and a general lack of flavor notes, perhaps a different vinegar and a little lemon zest couldve saved it. Overall a place worth shopping with fair prices, nice staff, quality product, a clean look-feel-smell. Ill be back.
Beat burger patties I have had in the southern NH area! The Chinese sausage is simply amazing!! Love this place!
My bf brought his lambs here for processing. They were helpful, friendly, polite, informative and excellent. They are professionals and definitely excel at their craft. #Recomend!!!
Love their meats and smoke cheese. They just opened their new store on the Daniel Plummer site this week. I cant wait or the rest o their new products to show up. The Shaws arm products are really good. Try the Banana Milk. Dougs Best Salsa is awesome. Hopefully they will sell chips on site.
Been using them for over 20yrs. And their new store has great offerings, stop in for marinated tips
This is a great place top bring your deer or animal . The service is great . They take in the full body deer and will give it to the food bank with out a charge to you or the food bank. I have a poultry business and i will have no problem taking it there .
Loved their banana milk first off...and their marinated teriyaki chicken and brown sugar steak tips.....but for slaughter I was very very disappointed I recently brought a pig up my Dad raised and it was a rather large pig and the first part I was satisfied but when it came to the smoked meat I wasnt happy. It took an extra 2wks to get it and when I did I only got 8lbs of bacon when I should have gotten at least 20-23lbs easily and every time I called I got a run around and felt like I didnt receive my pig back for the smoke meats, if there was a mistake made I would rather have been told and we could have dealt with but the way it was handled was not customer friendly at all! Think next time it will be awhile but may look elsewhere to check around.
Great place been going there for 20 years
Charged me 180$ to butcher a medium sized doe after telling me it would cost about 120$. Didnt label any of the cuts besides the backstrap and Tenderloin
Lemays butcher shop is the best in the area for farm to table.
Very knowledgeable and friendly to quality meats and local products
Easy to access meat supplier. Should have whatever your need, call ahead if very weird.
Amazing shop... you must visit
Wish I could find a price list. Bought meat wholesale in bulk last time but now they have that store, I think was charged retail.
This place should not be in a residential neighborhood. The smell of rotting flesh is prominent. I had hoped it would close down after the fire, but unfortunately, no.
Much smaller showcase than I remember.
Sorry about the fire but glad no one was hurt. We will help however we can.
These people are awesome.
Great selection nice help
They cut my cooking time in half!, sometimes more!
Great food and people
Great meats!
Excellent steak tips
