I used to collect stamps with my Dad as a kid, starting to get back into it after picking up some old stamps at a thrift shop. Bill took the time to look at some of the items I brought in and teach me about them, and they set me up with some of the basic supplies I needed to start collecting again. Very helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely be returning.

I have had great experiences with their auctions and supplies over the last 20+ years. On the rare occasion that there had been a problem with an auction lot, refunds have been made promptly & without question. Staff has always been friendly to me. People that are unhappy with offers for their collections should not blame GV ... US stamps issued after 1930 or so are rarely worth the face value. Best to collect for the fun of it!

I have been buying and selling for about 18 years from GV stamp auctions as well as Gopher supply. Has liberal return policy, a lot better then most auction houses. Good place to get quality stamps for decent prices.

With one exception due to crossed e-mails, I have never had a problem with GVs on-line auctions.

Have been disappointed several times after online auction purchases. Item descriptions were misleading or incorrect. When I brought my concerns to the attention of management I received the cold shoulder. Bidder beware.
