Metro has always been responsive and quick when we have had an issue with our garage doors. And today we had new doors installed by Lyle and Mike who were very professional and courteous.

In my mind, the test of great customer service is not that everything goes exactly as planned every time - that is just not possible. It is all about what happens when there is a minor error. We had new garage doors installed on Friday but we kept our old openers. Something went slightly wrong and the sensors weren’t reset properly. We didn’t try to use the doors until Sunday evening, so that is when we discovered the problem. These guys exhibited exceptional service. We called around 8 this morning. It is now 9:30 and Rand has already been by and fixed the problem. He carefully explained what he needed to do, made the fix, and even gave me a quick lesson of how to make sure our new doors stay in great shape. He was also quite friendly in the process.

I was very impressed by the great customer service we had, as well as the excellent job that our technician, Zach did on our garage door that was bent at the bottom causing the door to shake when going up and down. We were notified when Zach was 15 minutes away which was a nice notice to have, and I was impressed by his personable and professional interaction with me. The hinges were bent back into place and reattached to the concrete floor, and everything looks great! I would highly recommend this company.

Mike was prompt, courteous, professional and did a terrific job installing a new garage door and replacing the trim, seals and railings. It is 11:15. They said they would be done by 1:00. So they finished early. They were here exactly on time at 8 am. The price was exactly what was quoted. Quiet installation, clean! I think they took some of my dirt away with them when they left. The installers were so professional and efficient I was only able to get one of their names. Mike! I had an issue with my single garage door which was not opening and was very heavy to manually open. I called up a couple of places for quotes. Surprisingly non were ready to even give a ball park of what the problem could be. Very responsive when a part on our garage opener came undone recently -- live chat over web site on a Friday evening enabled them to get a tech to us on Saturday morning. The repair price was a little steep given the minimal nature of the repair needed, as it turned out, but no biggie - we were glad to have the repair made quickly. Randy came out and gave my garage door some TLC! He oiled the hinges, the rollers, and tracks. He showed me why my garage door was squeaking, then he took care of the squeaking. He showed me what I need to do every autumn to prepare the door for the harsh Minnesota winters. He said that deferred maintenance shortens the life of the door. I purchased a new remote and he programed it and showed me how to program my other remotes. Randy didnt try to upsell me. It was such a pleasant experience for me! A cable on my garage door had broken. Tai fixed that, replaced the rusty brackets that were holding it in place, tuned up the opener, moved one of the tracks slightly so it wouldnt rub against the side of the garage, and solved the mystery of why my remote opener wouldnt close the door. He was a very knowledgeable and friendly guy.
