We wanted to leave a good review to Dennis and his shop because they really deserve it. They fixed a problem we had for over a year that nobody, except them, was able to repair. We have been travelling the whole country with our Imported Italian Sprinter Van. We had to deal with a glow plug issue. A previous mechanic snapped one trying to change it. We travelled Canada and the US hoping to find a good mechanic with experience in removing a broken glow plug without taking the cylinder head and asking for 2000$. With a good amount of luck, we found Dennis and his shop. We found him online and from what we were reading, he had experience with this issue, especially with Sprinter. We were driving by, so we decided to stop there and give it a try. Dennis helped us right away, he was really friendly, honest and knowledgeable. He removed the snapped glow plug in no time. Other mechanics thought that our probem was gonna be really hard and expensive to fix but he managed to solve it right away at a very reasonable price. Thanks again for everything Dennis. Our Sprinter is now enjoying the US better than ever.
I have had several repairs done at LinDen and my rating is based solely on their ability to repair Mercedes Sprinters. If you want complimentary gummy bears and scones, a pleasant waiting room, and a loaner vehicle, this is not the place for you. If you want a top 5% sprinter mechanic in North America, then this is the place. They are a very busy shop and you may have to wait to get in, but it is worth the wait. It’s never fun spending money to fix your van, and they could do a better job of communicating with the customer, but you won’t find more skilled mechanics. Bottom line; if you want your van fixed right at a good price LinDen will get it done. They will get you back on the road and where you want to be with confidence.
Excellent customer service by Scottie and Devon! During our roadtrip our sprinter van started making weird noises and we became concerned that we wouldnt be able to make it home. They were able to fit us in the next day and everything was fixed that same day. Highly recommended!
Pretty disappointed..... We called LinDen based on the reviews here and on the Sprinter forum as we live in our van full time and got the dreaded DEF countdown last night as we pulled into RMNP. When I called to schedule service for hopefully end of the week or beginning of next I was told by Scottie that the soonest they could get us in was 3 weeks from now. After explaining the situation no help was offered it was the 22nd or nothing. I dont know who these other people are that are able to get in under an emergency but its clearly not us. Again we were not expecting same day service, but a little empathy for our situation would have been nice.
Was going across country when the van started having problems. Found these guys on a Sprinter forum. They saw me right away! They were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We had several issues they found and got us back on the road to continue the rest of our journey! Ran like a champ since then. Even fixed things our mechanic couldnt fix back home! Great family feel. Thank you guys and great to met you all!Julie
I cant say enough great things about this business!! We were traveling long distance in our Sprinter van and had a light come on that could not be ignored. We called around and at one point LinDen Automotive was suggested to us by someone who wasnt able to help us. What an absolute goldmine this information was!! We called and Scottie encouraged us to come over right away so they could get us fixed up and back on the road again. Everyone was absolutely amazing!! It took them a quick second to look under the hood and diagnosis our problem. They immediately got to work and had us back on the road 3 hours later!! Not only were we fixed up quickly, but they are incredibly reasonable!!! We highly recommend servicing your Sprinter here!!! LOVE LinDen Automotive!!
If you own an older Mercedes Sprinter this is the place to have it serviced and repaired. It’s worth taking it to the mechanics who work on these vehicles as a profession.
If you own a Mercedes Sprinter, you need to put LinDen Automotive in your contacts as a favorite. The techs at LinDen speak fluent Sprinter and like working on Sprinters. Good service, under promise and over deliver. fair pricing and integrity.
We were on the road and stranded due to a fuel leak. They were extremely nice and were able to work us into the days schedule and make the necessary repairs The charge was very reasonable and Denis explained everything that was happening. I would highly recommend them for any and all repairs.
I never leave bad reviews, but this was my worst customer experience and I want to warn others about it. I was charged over $3000 for work on my Audi and it fixed nothing. They promised that it was fixed and tested but I would drive away and 2 hours later the check engine light would come back on. It took 3 months for them to work on it and nothing was fixed. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. STAY CLEAR!!!!How does my experience vary from your records?? Please elaborate
The folks at LinDen are great and really know their Sprinter repair.
Our sprinter diesel Mercedes engine RV was driven from Florida to Colorado with major electrical problems and us not knowing if it was going to start at any given time, which it didnt. We had already been in one Mercedes dealership and left the car there for over 2 days and they could not find the problem. The other Mercedes dealerships in Denver were weeks and or months out from seeing us. Linden automotive was ready to go on vacation in a few days and Scottie accepted us after pleading for them to look at our problem which they did. It took them less than an hour to diagnose our problem, send us an estimate for repairs and fix our RV inside of 4 hours. Turned out to be a corroded fuse box and a bad relay. They were professional, friendly, and we felt that our bill was extremely Fair. We will continue to see them and use them for maintenance every summer when we come out to Colorado, which they offered. Cant thank them enough for saving the remainder of our summer trip! Thanks again Scottie and Devlin!
LinDen is a reliable and knowledgable servicer. TOURIG, LLC refers to LinDen before any other specialist on Sprinter and Diesel specific questions. Scotti and the team are always kind and responsive. TOURIG appreciates Linden Automotive and will continue to use them as our main servicer.
I would not recommend this mechanic and would advise people to look elsewhere. The prices were very expensive compared to other shops and they did shoddy work to my vehicle. The staff was friendly enough for the most part but the quality of work was very low.
Great shop!! Specialists who love your sprinter!! Wouldn’t take it any place else!
Looking for torque specs for the differential cover on my van and was having a hard time finding the values. Found Dennis on a sprinter forum so I gave the shop a call and I was hooked up with the specs along with advice in no time. Experts of the field.
I was hesitant but Im over it now. They did good work on my Sprint Van and got it all fixed. A diagnosis, estimate, and did everything without coming up with any surprises. Extremely satisfied. I love people that tell the truth and stand by their work. I do in my Sharpening Business and its a seldom occurrence when I meet businesses that do the same.Good on them.Larry from Hellosharpness.com
I cannot in good conscience recommend this mechanic. All of their work has had to be redone. 2 high pressure fuel pumps. 3 times for the injectors. 5 times on the door handle. 2 times on even a new battery. The staff is kind and friendly, but the work is substandard at best.
Dennis is absolutely amazing. We discussed the challenges i was having with my Sprinter and his concerns with the parts i had recently put in to remedy the problem without success. He quickly sent me out the specific parts he recommended and they solved the issue. Although I had purchased from a well known/respected Sprinter parts supplier in California, they failed to recognize that the part they sent looks the same but behaves differently. I only wish I lived in Colorado so that I could utilize LinDen for services when I need them.
Read my story! This place is a joke! The owner is an Australian who hates Americans!I spent $6,000 for the repair and my truck broke down 3 miles after leaving the shop. I took it to another shop and they told me the problem was an injector which is what linden had just replaced.. all 8 injectors. I called linden and they didnt believe me and wouldnt warranty the injector. The owner yelled at me, called me a broke pos. i still brought it back and they told me they didnt notice a problem or get a scan that said there was a problem.. I took my vehicle to that other shop and they fixed the part that Linden had just installed because thats why my truck broke down! And my truck runs fine. Turns out Linden used aftermarket injectors to save themselves money after I asked them to use OEM. There shady and they take a month to even look at your vehicle. Basically they just throw parts at the vehicle and yell at you when you cant afford the 5th fix after they throw parts at it.. maybe they just have a terrible IDS car scanner, either way a real mechanic spends money on proper equipment. Oh and each fix took a month before they started working on it. Not to mention after the first repair my truck broke down on side of road and I had to leave it there and that night it got broken into and they ignition was drilled out. They charged me full price for the drilled out ignition repairs when it was their fault I broke down in the first place. Bunch of idiots. I dare them to try to respond to this with anything but an apology I have a lot more I can say. The lady at the desk used my info to stalk my Facebook/Instagram and my family. And I remember everything the owner said to me on the phone about Americans being broke idiots (talking about me) just ask me ill yell you.
Got our work truck back out making money thanks to all that this place a fine experience. Friendly efficient I recommend this place to all service companies with Mercedes sprinters
We love this place, not only are they honest about what they do but are willing to talk to you about the things that you can fix your self. Also the most knowledgeable of Sprinter vans I have ever scene. I will drive across the country any time to have these guys work on my 04 sprinter.
The owner and staff at LinDen are truly wonderful people. Ready to help, always smiling and very friendly.
Spent over $4000 at this shop only to have a repair not properly done and the same issue arise less than 3k miles later — check engine light, sluggish performance. Took the van to a Mercedes dealership and they found that Linden had failed to finalize reinstalling a dpf temp sensor and that there was loose wiring. Mercedes charged me $300 for diagnosis, reinstallation, and a test drive. the van works again great. I call Linden to ask for them to reimburse the $300 (pennies to the $4k I already gave them), they blew me off for 3 days then the owner went on a polemic about how he was a technician and how Mercedes dealership with great ratings was lying... to make an extra $300. He wouldn’t uphold the 3 month, 3k mile warranty on the Linden contract. Scummy. Stay away.
I immediately received a call back from Dennis after placing a poor review from recent repair service on my 2013 Range Rover Sport. I have updated the stars/reviews based on this. I had my vehicle in twice in an attempt to repair a creaking suspension component. Unfortunately, they were not able to reliably duplicate the noise, but found play in the front lower and then later front upper control arms that they recommended replacement on. They also replaced the front sway bar bushing during the 1st visit and I suspect this was the actual source of the creaking. After taking the vehicle in twice without complete resolution and being told I would need to come in to test drive with a tech, I elected to take the vehicle to an alternative location - Land Rover Denver. They replaced the rear sway bar bushings and clamps as worn (although likely not the source of the noise); but also found movement in the front sway bar clamps (likely resulting in the recurrent creaking). Once retightened with new bolts, the noise has resolved. Dennis was very cordial and apologetic that LinDen was not able to correct the issue and felt the movement in the clamps was likely due to the vehicle settling after repair. I feel this negative review could have been avoided entirely with a call the first time I requested speaking with him (following the 2nd repair attempt) and clearer communication about their level of certainty that the repairs we pursued would fix the noise.
I have come to trust linden with my Sprinters. Sprinters can be a bit more expensive to repair than a Ford or Chevy. That being said Linden does a fine job at a fair price for Sprinter work.
I have never had an experience like it. These guys are next level!!! We have a 2008 doge sprinter it have Mercedes engine. They managed our expectations with ever move cost and time period. Saved us money where they cool and worked their arses off! They are so dedicated and professional!!! Scott savanah den dev and Linda thank you so much for making our dreams come true and getting us back road tripping again!!DEVLIN is the BEST mechanic we have ever had, he knows these vans like the back of his hand!!! He doesn’t even need the computer plug in he is a real mechanic!!! We have made friends for life with Lin-Den and will be sending everyone we know here!
So thankful I found this place
This is the only place Ill take my Land Rover in town. The staff is friendly and communicative. Dennis and his staff take the time to explain repairs, make valuable suggestions and follow up consistently. The work is done at a fair and transparent price too!
I had a B Service done on my 2017 Mercedes Sprinter. All details of the service were explained to me and an estimate was provided for my company. Everyone there is friendly and knowledgeable on all the makes and models they service. After leaving LinDen I headed to the East coast confident that the work was done right. This place is a must for anyone who owns a Land/Range Rover or Mercedes Sprinter and wants reliable quality service at a fair price.
Absolutely the best. Most recently, they took the time over the phone to help diagnose a sensor/throttle problem I was having with my Sprinter. SO knowledgeable and skilled...plus super friendly and helpful! There is no-where else in North America to take your Sprinter for service.Cant say enough good things about them.
LinDen was phenomenal and helped saved me when I was half way across the country. Went to a Mercedes dealership with my sprinter and they told me I needed a turbo replacement for 5-6k, took it to LinDen and fixed all my issues for less than 1k.They know sprinters inside and out. Highly recommended.
Be aware of abnormally high diagnostic fees. 140 dollars per hour seems ridiculously high to me. The tech I dealt with was very nice and helpful. I just feel that for the minimal time spent looking at my truck and 83 dollars I spent was not worth the information I received. In response to owners message-->Diagnostic fees were not discussed in advance or else I would have never agreed to drop it off at those prices. I never expected a free diagnostic I just didnt expect 85 dollars for 30 minutes of looking at it.
Scottie and Devlin have taken care of me and the van on multiple occasions. They have gone above and beyond when it comes to taking the time to explain thoroughly what is wrong and what I need to fix ASAP versus what can wait, and squeezing in appointments when I can make it to Denver from Breck on a tight schedule. Devlin is the sweetest man who even gave my friend a ride back up to the mountains when the van had to be worked on for several days when we thought it’d be a quick fix. These guys have taken care of me more times than I can count and it is really lovely to be able to trust an auto shop when you’re putting thousands of dollars into van repairs. Thanks so much guys, I appreciate it endlessly!
Dennis and Company are great! I’ve never really had an auto repair shop behave like heroes. We were on our way to ‘burning man’ with our van completely loaded, we had a van malfunction on the way out of town. We found Dennis’s shop, and explained the situation. He went right to work,Got it squared away and back on the road. He is knowledgeable, friendly and fair. He has also helped me out when i had problems on the road. Good advice, when i needed it. Awesome combination! Don’t know how they could be better! Rick Davis.
These guys are the best. So glad we found them, we will use LinDen to service our fleet forever!
They were great.Very knowledgeable about a mysterious engine, and yet patient enough to explain it to a diesel newbie. Took a trip after the repair and it ran like a dream. Hope it is a long time before I need to tap their experience again.
This place does all the work on my Sprinter and they are fantastic. Highly recommend. They take the time to explain any issues and will always answer every question you have. They have gone above and beyond for me in a pinch and Im very grateful. While the service on a Sprinter isnt cheap anywhere, Im happy to pay and trust this team to do the job right.
Ive been twice for semi-routine maintenance on a 2005 Sprinter 3500. These guys know their stuff and saved me a lot of money. The knowledge staff (shout out to Devlin!) accurately pinpointed potential future problem areas, allowing me to have them repaired in the comfort of a shop before any breakdown could occur. They are by the book and orderly about their work - if I were to have major repairs done, its worth the trip out to have their expert team do them.
Brought it in for some electrical problems, they don’t normally do Subarus, but they did great diagnostics work regardless. I thought it was a faulty alternator, but they found that was fine, and it was a battery issue. Additionally, they did extra diagnostic work, and found the mass airflow sensor was faulty. After they replaced that, the performance change was very obvious (additional cost wasn’t much relatively speaking). With an older car, getting preventative maintenance is a huge deal, saves a lot in the long run. Little things like fixing an O2 sensor - which is not that big a fix - immediately had my car idling smoother and being more responsive with the accelerator (manual transmission, so the change in responsiveness and performance are obvious right away). Very hard to find shops that do preventative maintenance like that.Labor prices are what I would expect (they didn’t itemize much, but I would assume an hour for diagnostics, an hour for repairs, which is reasonable for the work. They send you an email to authorize all work for the record), if not a bit on the low side actually. Similarly, markup on parts was about average, battery was a bit less than I would have expected, the sensor - they didn’t clearly state which sensor it was, but looking up what it could have been (bit of range depending) wasn’t anything crazy.Overall, hoping they’ll work on my Forester again despite not normally working on Subarus. Very pleased with the work.
These folks are awesome. They are busy but they did an excellent job of repairing my sprinter. Runs like it did when it was new. They are excellent diesel mechanics. Call ahead for an appointment, it will take about a month to get in but to me it was worth the wait.
This is one of the best shops Ive ever been too. Dennis and his crew really know their stuff. They were efficient, polite, knowledgeable, and candid with me throughout the entire process. I took my van here after being quotes a ridiculous price and time frame at another shop. And not only did LinDen fix it in 1/5th the time, they did it for 1/5th the other quote. I would trust this shop with any van of mine and would tell my Mom to come here.If youre looking for work to be done, look no further.
I cant say enough good things about this shop and the mechanics. Ive been working with Dennis and hes bent over backwards to help me through some mechanical problems while traveling across the country in my Sprinter. I was stuck in a small town on Sunday with a check engine light on not knowing if I should proceed or not. All I had was a check engine code and a whole bunch of stress. Dennis took multiple calls ON HIS DAY OFF to help me. Not only that, he was very friendly and excited to offer his help.If you value expertise and people going above and beyond to help you, this is your shop.
A very knowable and professional staff. We always go out of our way to get our Sprinter serviced by experts and LinDen Automotive is well worth the drive for us! They are busy so be sure you schedule out in advance.
Incredible service! Check engine light came on two days before our trip. Scotti got us in right away and arranged to scan for error codes. Problem was diagnosed and fixed the same day. Our trip started without delay. Ive had routine maintenance done at LinDen before and will definitely return. Thanks!!
This place charges a lot of money for work. I was lied to about test driving and doing diagnostic on my Sprinter. My van was in the same spot with the tire sticking out on the street which I noticed dropping off the evening before as well as an inch of ice was on my windshield with my wiper blades in the same position as I left them, absolutely no way they test drove my van and was charged over $80 to plug in the diagnostic which I already had done for free at the auto store down the street, Feel cheated.
I found Dennis because of his great reputation on a Sprinter forum. He has serviced our 2014 Mercedes Benz Sprinter 2500 for the last 3 years. His knowledge of these vehicles is superb and his maintenance work has made our RV function flawlessly. Id recommend him to anyone with a MBSprinter to deal with him and his employees. Great service and a great guy.
Very good service and very thorough. Found out problem may have emanated from a recent recall notice, about which i had yet to be notified. They took care if it. They also encouraged me to call back if there were additional problems. Very courteous.
I’ve been a loyal customer here for over two years. Scotty and Dev are incredibly knowledgeable and generous! They have walked me through many major and minor issues with my vehicle. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who owns a T1N Sprinter. Thank you!!!
Awesome experience! I had my 2005 sprinter van’s transmission replaced here and they did an absolute amazing job! I would definitely recommend this shop.
5+++ Stars. Its hard to put into words what this review should be. Dennis and Linda helped me out an incredible amount. They did their best to keep me around my budget and helped accommodate my needs. Dennis is a mastermind and Linda is patient and incredibly helpful. They made me feel at home. Support them, support them, support them!
If you have a sprinter and need repairs this is the place. I had a stripped out glow plug from a previous non sprinter repair shop and LinDen automotive came to the rescue and helped me out of what could have turned into a $5,000 repair. Take it to the experts first and save some money down the road. Thanks again!
Dennis and Linda are great people. I have been a customer of Linden for about 3 years now. You will receive honest estimates and timely completion of any work. I have never had to bring back any of my Sprinters because it wasnt done right the first time. This is critical to my type of business.
Dennis and his crew have taken care of our 2003 Land Rover ever since we bought it 10 years ago, as well as our Suburban and Yukon XL. Always excellent service, even makes house calls (which is a life saver, so to speak, on occasion). Reasonable prices and very honest service. They stand behind their work, 100%. Very pleasant people to deal with!
Great Shop! Dennis has been great to deal with. Always has a good attitude and a funny story to brighten your day. Quality of work is outstanding.
Best Sprinter mechanics in Colorado. Thorough, fair, prompt and honest. Will always take our 250k+ mile T1N here.
Got rid of the rumble-strip noise and harsh shuttering my Sprinter had and fixed a power steering issue. It wasnt cheap, but nothing is with these vans, and there are few shops even able to do these repairs. It took 4 days, very fast considering the work involved.
I was somewhat disappointed with my experience after reading the otherwise positive reviews:I brought in a vehicle for a pre-purchase inspection and was quoted a price of ~$150. I was given an appointment the next day which was great. The vehicle had several issues I was aware of, and which I explicitly asked to be looked at during the inspection. When I received the inspection result checklist, everything was marked as excellent (the highest rating) without any comments, even though I knew this was not entirely accurate.I called in and received a somewhat blunt and brief justification. My experience did not instill confidence that everything was looked at properly and there is opportunity to improve communication. For these reasons, I am not sure that $150 for the inspection are justified or well spent.
Every person that works here is wonderful! Very welcoming and extremely nice. We were on vacation from Minnesota and our van broke down and they made sure we had a place to go and a way to get there. Very wonderful people! I would recommend them to anyone!
Dennis and Linda know what Customer Service means! I had been a customers of theirs for years when I lived in the Denver area. Always drove out knowing I got the best work done on my Rovers. Even the few times I couldn’t make it into the shop Dennis still took the time to walk me through trouble shooting in order to find the problem. He was quick to give me quote or even tell me if it was something I could do in my garage. I now live in Idaho, an 11 hour drive away and still they help me out. Recently I was having problems finding a part that had been discontinued by the factory. I called all the major players in Rover parts and came up empty handed. So I figured I give Dennis a call. Sure enough he had exactly what I needed and Linda put it in the mail that day! I had the part on my door step in two days. If you are a Rover owner anywhere on the Front Range you should be going here. Trust me I have been to all the other garages, and finally found Dennis and Linda and I never turned back. Thanks Guys!
Extremely knowledgable and went out of their way to get me back on the road. If you have a sprinter van that need worked on this is the place.
Mr Williams and his team at LinDen Automotive and Engineering did an outstanding job of installing my Espar D2 heater with the High Altitude kit. The work was performed for the original quote, equal and less than a number of highly rated shops in the area, and finished at the time promised. Thank you!
Thank you for your knowledgeable and skillful service. #1 repair shop for our beloved Cash!
We were in a pinch having a deadline, and were stuck with a Sprinter van dripping fuel. They managed to fit us in and fixed the issue faster than promised.Linda, Dennis and the team ALWAYS have our back.Note: When we dropped off the keys in the drop-box an associate stopped and made sure that we were OK and asked to the issue. I shows to me the commitment of the team.Thank you GuysSprinter HappyMartin
I had a small emergency while travelling and these guys worked me in. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Confident in their recommendations and in their work. Great mechanics!
The Sprinter expertise at this shop is unmatched! They took me in broken down and 800 miles from home and got us back on the road resolving issues that had been occurring for over a year. They are a godsend. We will be making the 12 hour drive several times a year for LinDen to do all of our major maintenance going forward. Excellent service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Always the best. I will continue to return and I have mentioned you to another friend.
Stopped in for a quick transmission checkup and the fine folks at LinDen Automotive helped me out even though they were one employee short. Very knowledgeable and caring of their customers!
These guys are terrific. Knowledgeable, flexible and just good human beings. We encountered problems with our Sprinter Westfalia on the first leg of a 7,000 mile coast-to-coast trip. Dennis and Linda squeezed us into their already-overloaded schedule and stuck with what turned out to be an elusive intractable problem until it was resolved. Our Sprinter ran flawlessly for the remainder of the trip.
Dennis was amazing! I have a Dodge Sprinter van that needed work, he diagnosed and made suggestions for repair immediately upon arrival. He spoke to me as a person, explaining in detail what was going on with my van. I agreed to the repairs and during the day was offered used parts to cut down the cost. I would 100% suggest Linden Engineering. I will be back for any and all repairs to my much loved van. Linda was also very friendly and helpful.
If you start me up, I will not stop talking about how much I love Linda and Dennis at Linden. Its strange, they actually seem like they just want to help you but unfortunately also have to ask for money for their services. They seem genuinely concerned with the well-being of my car, and they always do an amazing job and walk me through their steps. I sit there and watch them do the work. Its so great to find a repair shop you can trust. Im from Chicago but I honestly leave most of my repair work for when I come to CO, just because of these guys. Highly recommended.
If you own a Mercedes Sprinter I would highly recommend going elsewhere. I asked Dennis and his team to install a Webasto heater in my van and have had nothing but difficulties since. He charged me almost $700 more than other shops locally quoted me but I wanted to support a local Golden shop. After the install the heater was not heating the cabin of the van. I called Webasto and sent them pictures of the installation and they recommended I NOT use the heater because of the risk of CO2 poisoning. When I brought it back to Dennis he was irate and belligerent. He reluctantly repaired the botched install. two weeks after the second installation I am prepping for a trip to Wyoming and yes, my heater is NOT working and my battery array is losing power abnormally. I now have to go elsewhere to finish the installation because Dennis will not return phone calls. The communication from the staff is as though you are imposing on them when you call. The shop is filthy and unorganized. Dangerously incompetent, expensive, and slow. Not a good combination. Multiple phone calls not returned. I would avoid this place.
My one-time experience with Mercedes recommended maintainence on my Sprinter at LinDen Automotive:PROs°Needed to schedule well in advance..no problem as this is generally a sign of a thriving business°Estimate for specific service recommendation was given over the phone and generally consistent with the going price°Work was completed quickly and efficientlyCONs°Invoice during checkout was NEARLY TWICE the price quoted over the phone despite there being nothing added. On the positive side, I raised this issue immediately upon seeing the invoice and the price was reduced to the previously agreed amount on the spot.°The place is a complete mess. Although this is often the case with good mechanics, I have a personal issue with this level of disorganizationUNRESOLVED/NEUTRAL°I cannot address the overall quality of LidDens expertise working with Sprinters given my work order. They did give me a good referral to work on an alignment issue I had but could not do the work themselvesBOTTOM LINEMake sure you know the going rate for any specific work you need or scheduled maintainence (easy to Google given the large number of Sprinters out there). This will definitely help during checkout.
This is a unique old style mechanic shop. He works on mostly British and foreign vehicles, and does a fair price for the work he does. I havent heard anything bad about him and I think if you have a foreign car like a Jaguar, Mercedes, BMW, or something like that, he would be a good person to go to.
Dennis took incredible care of us. My Sprinter van is a bit of a lemon and he took the time to go through every single aspect of what was going on. In my wide experience with sprinter repair done all over the country I have never had someone be so knowledgeable, attentive, and caring to the needs of my van and my wife and I. Problems that I have had mutliple other mechanics, including dealerships, say they cannot fix, Dennis was able to sift through, diagnose, and fix everything. Total rockstar. You will not be disappointed coming here.
I had very bad experience with this mechanic shop. Although it is two years ago, I still cannot forget it. And I think it is my responsibility to make people aware of their dirty business, especially for International students at Colorado School of Mines. Dennis is a liar! My 2004 Land Rover has knocking noise. He told me it cost 2000$ to fix it. However, when I received the bill, it is 4300$. After about 2 month, the engine was completely DRY! And the engine is knocking again! The engine light was also flashing. They promised 6 months warranty. So they fixed the problem temporarily. However, the engine still burns oil heavily. I had to refill the engine every 1000 miles.
If I could give more stars I would. Dennis and his crew really know their stuff especially the om642. I brought my diesel grand cherokee in and they saved me from the stealership.Honest hardworking team that you wont mind giving your money to. Everyone that works there was awesome. Thanks
This place rocks! Dennis is a font of sprinter knowledge and the staff are expert and professional. I couldnt be more satisfied.
Love, love, love Linda and Dennis is ok. These guys are great! Top notch service always there for me when I call about something. Great family business with just terrific people! Dennis has kept my Pinzgauer running great for almost 8 years now. The great work and personal touch, thats why I keep coming back.
This place is amazing. During a trip from California to Colorado I had an issue with my Winnebago View (Sprinter drive train) losing power. I limped it to Linden and Dennis went above and beyond to get me back on the road. He even drove it personally to the Mercedes dealership for some warranty work because it was too heavy for the tow truck. While it was there I had them to the 20k mile service. Thanks Dennis and Linda!!
Wonderful skillful folks whose hospitality and help were top shelf - last year had a Sprinter problem while driving through Colorado and stopped in Golden to see if the reputation was deserved - it certainly was and I would drive across country for further service - they found solutions that the factory mercedes service center could not (despite repeated expensive trips) and provided six stars worth of knowledge at a reasonable cost.. Thanks again and best regards!
Ive been going to Linden Engineering for years when my Range Rovers need some TLC and I have nothing but great things to say for the whole staff and family, both Dennis and Linda are great, and the rest of the staff are wonderful to work with, if you want that personal touch and attention I will always recommend Linden Engineering to my friends.
Very knowledgeable and helpful with any issues Ive had on my Sprinter
Worst customer service I have every experienced! 2.5 weeks ago I call to get service done and never get a call back. Then am told the parts finally came in (from Cali. 4 days MAX)! Then after calling them to see if they are going to be able to service my vehicle, they tell me we are swamped! Im swamped as well
We embarked on a long journey from Alaska to Colorado in 2013 for our son to begin his first year of college at the School of Mines in Golden. Our Sprinter RV broke down 80 miles out of a tiny village in Canada, and we were stuck and couldnt get parts because it was Boxing Day for Canada. We made it into Colorado, but had a major axle issue going through Wyoming. Dennis and his mechanics got us back on the road in just over one day. We also lost our turbo on the return trip from PA, but again Dennis and his wonderful family greeted us and made our stay in Golden, Colorado a pleasant experience. It was a real blessing to experience both their kindness and professional excellence. Our 11,600 mile trip was a great adventure, and our rig has operated flawlessly since LinDen repaired it.
When the ECU has its own adventure plans, it is good to find a guy like Dennis at Linden Engineering in Golden Co.. I suspect the only shop with speed sensors in stock for a 2013 3500 in the US.. We were on our way in a few hours way less $$ than a dealership. Works mostly on Sprinters Rovers and Puch Pinzgauers. Dennis is larger than life with some great stories and great staff.
Been doing business with Linden engineering for many years now Dennis and his wife & family are Pleasant and the man knows what hes doing I would recommend them Anytime Anyplace sincerely Ryan senior AKA tiger
As a contractor we know the value of professionals, You get what you pay for!!
These guys really saved me! I limped my van into Golden, on my way home to Kansas, with a long standing, intermitten issue with my 2006 sprinter van. I had thrown parts at it for weeks based off the opinions of other shops in other cities, which of course hadn’t fixed it. Within a few minutes Dennis knew the issue and agreed to arrange time, on their already slammed schedule, to repair it. I was lucky to find them. My experience with LinDen couldn’t have been better. They know Sprinters!! Thank you very much!
Rolled my 03 Disco II twice on black ice and dented up the body pretty good, but the drive train and everything still worked well. Dennis Took the complete shell off of an 02 Disco, doors, hood, roof, everything, and replaced it over my 03. Unbelievable--very reasonable and an incredible feat. I used to always go to the LR Dealer because it was closer to my house, but I drive an extra 1/2 hour to get Dennis opinion on work.Ive also got a 04 LR that he has worked on. I cant emphasize enough how much this guy knows Land Rovers. I paid one shop $350 to tell me that the oil pressure was low, and they were guessing as to if the pump needed to be replaced, or perhaps I needed a whole engine overhaul, or a higher grade oil----Dennis told me exactly what I needed to do to fix the problem over the phone. This is what years and years of experience gets you from Dennis. Very satisfied with the work and integrity of what he has done. Three + years with Dennis, and never a problem--Plus his stories are worth the drive.
I had a terrible exprience in this shop two months ago, and I need to let more know. They quoted $900 for a starter replacement (even before they checked the starter!). When I declined the service, they said there was a nonrefundable $130 diagnosis fee. Finally, I had to pay $75 to get my car back.It turned out that nothing was wrong with the starter, and I only need to replace the battery, only cost $160.
I had a great experience with every one at LinDen I leave my recommendation for them
We had a foreign exchange student quotes $900 for a starter replacement. When we declined the service ($290 at another shop) they said there was a nonrefundable $130 diagnosis fee. Unbelievable. These guys are crooks and I would avoid doing business with them at all costs.
Best Sprinter work around, hands down.
They found the problem, fixed it right the first time and for significantly less than the dealer quote.
Gotta start off with I had a few repairs done by Linden and they did them fast and effective, but gotta say with that came more headaches that seemed to be related to the first fix.Now with that said, I have been around automotive my whole life and have seen all the problems you fix one thing and another one goes it is just the name of the game, but it was very suspicious in this particular instance. After those repairs and many more visits of things going wrong we had been back on the road, for about 2 weeks, and had a vibration that seemed if we were driving on rumble strips. I decided to call linden Engineering to discuss this, the secretary answered and I asked if I could talk to Dennis, She asked why and I explained what is going on. She immediately diagnosed it as the transmission needed a new computer board. I was blown away ad asked how she new that? She explained it was something they just fixed on another about a few months ago and it was identical to this description.I was game and it was going to be a 6 hour install so I scheduled it, but asked to please put on scanner before any work was done. The Sprinter was taken down and since no work could be done we stayed with it,The Tech grabbed his scanner and preceded to take it out on a test drive to see what codes it was setting off. At first could not get it to do the rumble strip thing, and no codes. Went for a second drive and got it to do it, but no codes. After a discussion and not getting any codes I decided we would wait and see what happens as I do not want to through 1400.00 at it and its not the problem, plus it was getting late and had to be back to Fort Collins as it is a 6 hour job and it is now 1:30pmDennis then got flustered and the secretary was telling us the parts are already there to do the job, I discussed that if that is not the problem then why fix it, but got told that just cause the scanner is not throwing a code that they were for sure it was the problem. I was also told they could get it done in 3 hours and have it ready to role by 4:30.Well with all that being said, they did get the job done, but not till 6:45, the problem was back immediately and when called they said it might possibly be the torch converter going bad, This was what they said almost 1 hr after fixing it, I can not explain how I had a bad feeling and should have not done it, but when an expert says they are for sure this is it you tend to believe them. Please understand the torch converter replacement was going to be another 2400.00 dollars, at this point I was told by a local transmission shop I could have replaced the whole transmisison between the cost of both repairs. We decided to get another opinion and took it to a local shop, the put it on a scanner and it was reading bad fuel injector #1 & #5. I called Dennis to ask if he checked this when they did the test drive and they discussed that was not what they thought it was, and SnapOn scanners are not as good as Mercedes so he can not trust them.I told the shop that so they called a local shop with a Mercedes scanner he stopped by cost me 80.00 to put it on that scanner and test it.It was the same results.I called Dennis again and he wanted me to email them. I did and then he started saying they fixed what was going on at the time of hand and this must be a new problem.I WARN EVERYONE TO PLEASE NOT GO IT SEEMS IF THEY HAVE A GAME PLAN AND KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IS GOING TO GO WRONG AND WHAT WOULD BE NEXT TO BE FIXED AFTER THAT.AND PLEASE BE AWARE IF YOU TRY TO DISPUTE THIS YOU HAVE TO GO TO COURT AS A CREDIT CARD SERVICE WILL NEVER REFUND IF YOU HAVE AGREED TO SERVICES RENDERED.
If you have a Sprinter that needs anything, this is the place. Great service and extremely knowledgeable about Sprinter vans.
Despite being fully booked for weeks out & running into an issue that had him hiking down the mountain that morning, Dennis went out of his way to help me midway through my cross-country trip. He was able to quickly diagnose an issue with the EGR valve that was brought on in part by a shop in MD filling my Sprinter with high-ash oil, walked me through important maintenance peculiarities to keep my Sprinter running optimally, and sent Bree all the way down to the Sprinter dealer in Littleton to get my part that day. I now understand and appreciate why Sprinter owners come to LinDen from neighboring states, and will gladly make another visit the next time Im in Colorado. Of course, with an appointment scheduled in advance next time.
