I had heard a lot of great things about this place before I ate here and it did not disappoint! The tacos are delicious and the chili dusted chips with fresh guac are phenomenal. Great music and overall fun vibe

The burritos are so delish... and everyone knows it! This location is very popular and Id advise getting there as early as possible to get into the very limited seating and parking areas. The menu includes unique tastes and flavors found only inside Bonfire Burritos. They are swift with online and take out orders. Sitting down with them is always a pleasure as the staff is so warm, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The is a must eat location here in Golden, CO

Their burritos are good but their wait times are not... its def gotten worse over the years. While I get that they have grown, they were clearly more efficient when they were in their trailer. We ordered our food online and expected a 45 min wait. Bit much but thats fine. Got there and they said they were backed up with no time estimate. We then waited for another 45 mins to get our food. For two burritos, not worth the 1.5 the wait. They clearly need to figure out their system if they cant handle the orders... maybe try turning off mobile ordering?

Vegans, rejoice!So, full disclosure:Their breakfast menu is the best simply because it has hash browns. That said, the Bonasaurus with the (newly) vegan green chili and extra hash brown is THE burrito.You will not be disappointed.

One of the few places that make you stop after taking a bite and say “God damn that’s good”I would say that the breakfast burritos are slightly better than regular, but you certainly can’t go wrong either way. Definitely a place to take folks if you’re in the area

Surprisingly tasty and very filling breakfast burritos! Got the original size Classic with bacon and wasnt sure it would be enough - it ended up keeping me full for hours on a long hike! It was actually spicy too, which was awesome and can be so hard to find sometimes!

Great burritos! Both breakfast and lunch offerings are excellent. This is one of my favorite lunch stops in Golden. The menu is short and sweet. One warning: the hot salsa is very hot. Even the 50/50 is on the hot side for me, and I like spicy food.

Burritos are good and have a lot of taste, but it seems like the original location produced more filling burritos. I noticed at the new location the burritos are more soupy. Sometimes you will get a splash of chorizo and all green chilli with some eggs and potato.

Very long wait. Burrito had a lot of chicken however it had a very strong and nasty burnt flavor. It looks like a lot of people like it but this place is not for me! Just my opinion.

I drive 35 minutes every month at least to get a burrito from Bonfire. They can not be matched. These are the best burritos I have ever had. I’ve been coming since they were in their food truck. I’ve had both their breakfast and lunch burritos and have never had one that was not as good as the previous. If you are looking for a excellent burrito, this is the place.

We got the classic and the jackelope breakfast burritos. They were good and filling but nothing special. The classic was like taking a traditional side of the road diner breakfast smashed into a tortilla. The jackelope was too juicy, everything tasted the same, runny scrambled eggs.

The food is absolutely amazing and the staff is as friendly as can be! Highly recommend stopping by if you havent already!

My Hot Burrito was awesome but a Medium Hot Bloody Mary was WAY to hot. I could not even drink it and I love hot and spicy.

Fast casual with a simple menu. The smell of bonfire was not over powering and was always there as a hint of taste and small. I am a fan of shredded hash browns and bonefire rolls these into all of their burritos. Being sunscreen if it is busy as the patio has some shade.

First: The burritos are great. No complaints there. The thing that stops me from coming often are the minor details in orders. Like asking for a smothered burrito at the register and receiving a handheld instead. Or ordering a side condiment online and not getting with your order. Fix these little things and Ill sing the praises of this place.

Stopped here on the way to a hike and grabbed the vegan burrito called the bon-asaurus. anaheims were on point and the mushrooms were inspiring. for $9 the burrito could have been bigger but i was just pleased i had an option. the atmosphere is chill and i like that people arent eating there during covid

This is the best burrito place in Golden. Theyve got great lunch burritos and fantastic breakfast burritos. Definitely plan ahead on the weekends because it gets busy.

Great burritos. However the wait can be long, stopped here on a Saturday at 11am and the wait was about 30 - 40 mins for burritos. Got the one with grilled pineapples, it was wonderful. Do yourself a favor and order ahead. Burritos are awesome!!

The farther north of Texas the harder it gets to find dope Mexican/burritos. This place is awesome, it’s one of my favorite burrito joints in CO. The fuego is actually spicy and the hot sauce will make your nose run. The various burritos are great and all cost a bit pricey 9.25 but one burrito will leave you stuffed. I’d recommend this burrito spot if you want a bomb American style Burrito. You won’t be disappointed eating here.

This is an excellent burrito place serving up burritos you just cant get anywhere else. Their seasoning, sauces and style are not to be matched by any other burrito joint. Delicious menu items and the ability to modify them to suit your desires makes Bonfire a definite go to for lunch in Golden! I asked them to make my burrito dank... and they did not disappoint.

I havent been able to find decent Mexican food since moving to Colorado. Im used to the greasy tacos and fat burritos from hole-in-the-walls on the West coast. I was skeptical about Bonfire Burritos, even more when I stepped inside. Theres nothing Mexican about the decor & vibe. It looks like a beer garden that just happened to serve Mexican food. But they surprised me. Flavorful burritos with real heat (get the fuego level chile) and theyre prepared fast. I wish they would open a second location east of Denver.

Great burritos but theres not a lot of value in their pricing but then I guess goldens kind of a swanky town now.

Been here before and the food was amazing. Traveled out here again from PA and made a special trip just to them. You wont be disappointed.

The food is delicious! But the orders take forever! We ordered ahead online and the pick up time was an hour out. When we picked up at the designated time, we still had to wait a 1/2 hour!

This place is very busy and now I know why. Even with the amount of people coming to buy burritos at 9:30 AM they handled it very well. Great employees with smiles to share. I absolutely love this place. I used to get it all the time when I lived in Denver. Now that I live over 300 miles away, any time I visit Denver this is a solid stop on my list. The best part, the guys working there still know my name and remember me...even after months of not going in.

UNBELIEVABLE. Luckily, my office is over in this part of town so I can come over for lunch/breakfast burritos. Even if this place is not convenient, I would recommend others to drive from far and wide to try these amazing burritos. There is a lot of Mexican food in Denver and Colorado in general, but this is unlike any other burrito I have had. My new favorite burrito place, can not say enough good things about Bonfire!

Got the meaty burrito which was pretty good but it was very greasy. The small option is good enough if youre a bit hungry.

We first found this must visit restaurant 3 years ago. They were still in the trailer. It was so good that it was a mandatory stop on our vacation to Colorado from Atlanta. These guys are insanely good at what they do...making spectacular food. The tacos were equally as amazing as the burritos. You cant be within 59 miles of Golden and not stop here.

Heading to a climbing gym nearby and needed fuel for the wall. Searched nearby and this was the top of the list. Out of the way but looked interesting. I like interesting! Kids had to use the restroom, they dont have a public toilet, so we went down the road then returned. Very short wait on a Friday evening, Not too much of a selection but just enough for variety. Chose some tacos as they sounded like real tacos not those crunchy bland ones franchised Mexican places sell. Loved it so much we had to buy some stickers, and patches to commemorate the occasion. Threw a couple I brought with me from Bremerton, Washington on their window. The burrito my child had was a little spicier than she expected but she ate half for dinner, then ate the rest for breakfast (with extra water to drink). When I visit this area again I will return to try more of their menu.

Its okay. Burritos take 1.5 to 2 hours when they are busy and honestly they are good; they arent 2 hours good. We put the order in online and arrived at the prescribed 60 minutes that the site said we would need to wait. It was another 45 minutes before they were ready. They are doing great business though! The pre-order line is on the patio at a separate opening and they store the food in a warmer. You pour your own cold brew coffee inside when you pick up.

There are a lot of Burrito choices out there but if your on the west side of the Denver metro this is definitely the place to go.

I ordered 2 carne asada burritos, drove 30 minutes to get them and got the complete opposite. One of the burritos was pork, and the other was just peppers and onions. When I tried to call them to explain what happened their phone lines were down. This has been my go to spot for burritos, but I think I’ll go somewhere else next time.

The vegetarian taco was delicious. But overall the food was low on seasoning and there was a huge chunk of meat in a burrito wed ordered vegetarian.

I decided to stop by and buy my husband a burrito for fathers day. The line was kind of long so my son suggested we order online. We ran an errand and came back. An hour and half later our two burritos were ready!! I sat in my hot car with a melting pie for the majority of that time. I do not know how it could take that long to make two burritos?! The crowd was not that big either by the time it became 1:15. I have never waited for food that long in my entire life and I will not be going back. Made me so cranky and I do not appreciate poor service.

I dont understand the hype.... Waited in line for what felt like hours for rittos that were ordered online.... Just to have to deal with a rude employee and sent into a different line to wait some more. Mind you, my food was paid for and ready when I arrived, but after 2 long lines and like 5 rude employees I got a cold ritto that was def not worth 5 stars even if it was hot. Pathetic. Waste of time. Teach your employees some manners.

Subpar customer service for take away service. Burritos are good but dealing with the grumpy staff isn’t worth it. There are too many other options in Golden with equally good hand-helds that are more affordable with better customer service at the register.

It was so good that I forgot to take a picture until I was 3/4 way done. This is THE breakfast burrito spot. Always packed, always good. I’ve tried all the meat ones and you can’t go wrong w any, but Javelina is my new favorite. The chorizo and pineapple is a ridiculous combo. Wow
