Great ice cream, got the coconut chocolate swirl and the double dark chocolate, both flavors were very good. The coconut was like a mounds bar in ice cream form. The dark chocolate was a fudge brownie on a cone.

Boy when I need a good ol hefty scoop of ice cream I know where to go; Golden Sweets! I love their ice cream, chocolate, and most of all that raspberry chocolate melt. The staff is so friendly too!

FAST service, delicious Smores icecream, and if I had a bigger budget I would have bought so much candy. We also bought a big rice krispy treat and carrot cake cupcake. There was just such a lovely local feel to it.

I had a disappointing experience here unfortunately - saw all the wonderful ice cream flavors and wanted to bring my friends after lunch, but when I went in to purchase some of the delicious looking candy, I was passed up by the staff not once, but twice.They spoke with other customers and served them before me, and messed with the register for quite some time while I was standing there very clearly wanting to purchase something. I was the only person there who was not white and the lady seemed uncomfortable engaging me. No friendly welcome or smile like with the other customers. It’s palpable when you know you are not welcomed.I think if I ever come back, I’ll make sure to bring a white friend so they recognize my presence. At least the candy was rather good.

This is a classical old time sweets shop. You can tell once you walk in the door.Everything is good, staff is always wonderful and very kind. They just make you feel like youre a kid in a good way; the carefree, nothing matters in the world kind of good.I honestly cant sing enough praise to this place, its just incredible

Decent ice cream and selection.We had the funky Donkey and a malted coconut. Different flavors than other places.It was very busy and we had to wait in line for a bit, not sure that I would wait in line for it again but glad I got to try it.

The ice cream was great. I got two scoops. Rocky road, my favorite, and dark chocolate. The lady at the counter recommended the dark chocolate and Im glad she did.

My husband and I visited Golden Sweets today at 3pm. The ice cream selection is great! The line was out the door. - there were 3 girls working and they really kept the line moving! They were so cheerful and friendly to each and everyone. As busy as they were they always had a smile. They tag teamed if needed. The customers all seemed delighted. So refreshing to see such great help.

Delicious ice cream! We stopped in pretty late Saturday evening, the line was out the door but the staff managed to get through a horde of clients very quickly. Our party of 5 all commented on how delicious and creamy the ice cream was. Love the little mini-waffle cone option for when you dont feel like scarfing down a large waffle cone. Store was clean, staff were very friendly and they had a great selection.

Very nice establishment with helpful staff and chill vibe. They had all sorts of chocolate treats and candies that any child-at-heart will appreciate. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars, and its a silly one, is because they do not make their icecream in house. They make it in Boulder and have it brought down. I didnt enquire as to if the other treats are also shipped in but if you are in Golden and have a sweet tooth, do yourself a favor and stop by.

Everything looked so delicious! We got a double scoop of the funky donkey and it was awesome. Shared it with my 2 kiddos. Great serving. Could have gotten a single serving and been just as satisfied!

The perfect spot to satisfy your sweet tooth with a treat or a scoop of ice cream on a hot day. It is small and the ice cream line can grow out the door but dont let that stop you. They staff is very friendly and fast so you wont wait too long in line. It is a small shop with only 3 tables to sit down.

I got their sea salt caramel oreo ice cream. This was amazing! Ive never tried anything like it before. I also got the little taster scoop of other flavors and all were pretty tasty as well. Besides the bunch of ice cream flavors, theres plenty of candy and Colorado T-shirt options as well!

The Funky Donkey flavor was incredible! They even asked me which flavor I wanted to be on the bottom of my cone, which is the MOST important question when ordering a double scoop, yet Im rarely asked by most creameries.

Chocolate raspberry ice cream was delicious. Single scoop is more like a double and should be plenty for most people. $12 for three cones which seems like a fair price for the quality.

This is a nice little ice cream shop in the middle of a small town. Definitely worth stopping by. Will be going back soon.

Went three times in a week. When flavors run out, they bring a different one in to replace it. At first I was disappointed by this (I came here specifically for _______ and youre out of it!!??) but then I felt thats what makes this place unique because you could go at different times a day and not have the same selection. Chocolate confections looked great but I didnt have any.My only hesitation is that I feel the prices are a *tad* high; just a *tad* though.

They also have a selection of candy and other treats, as well as handmade pies. A great place to stop while in Golden.

Went back for my 2nd visit after 3 years and all i can say is that golden sweets lives up to its consistency and excellent quality. The ice cream was delicious, people are amazing, and the vibe is amazing. Golden sweets will always be on my list when i visit colorado.

Its not bad! The ice cream was good and thats really what matters.The layout of the restaurant needs to be a little better in my opinion. It just seems a little cluttered with random merchandise when you enter inside. Instead of using all that space to sell strange candy (which gives the atmosphere a weird, touristy feel to it), use it for extra seating spaces! Me and my family wished we could sit down inside just to chat instead of awkwardly stand.

Very friendly staff, quite clean area. I got one of the best chocolate malts I have ever had in my life! The service was relatively fast although for a Saturday night they seemed understaffed.

My wife really wanted to stop here for her birthday. We noticed the hours were until 9 p.m., so we went to dinner first. We got there at 8:25 p.m. and they were closed, but employees (5) were still in the store and said sorry through the glass. Please post the CORRECT HOURS on your door! WILL NOT BE BACK AGAIN. NOT A HIGH-END CANDY STORE.

Amazing and worth the wait! My usually go to for ice cream is cookies and cream so it was refreshing to see a different flavor on that, which is the salted caramel Oreo which was creamy and the cookies were fresh not stale.

Love this place always a nice place to be all the ice cream is so good and they have a loyalty program (punch card) I have never been disappointed by them and dont think I ever will be!

I just walked out without getting any ice cream. A worker helped my friend and then the other workers helped every single person behind me. Seriously ridiculous, I cant believe I stood in line without being helped or acknowledged. The male working with long hair was obviously high and had no concern for customer service.
