We started this order remotely from another state. Todd Faulkner was very understanding and helpful in our unusual situation. The installation team was on time and very thorough. They cleaned up after themselves and did an excellent job. We LOVE our new floors!

Thought it was going to go great, since the customer service in the showroom was great. It all went sharply downhill from there. We are now awaiting our third re-install since they can not seem to get anything right. But they have no incentive to do right by the customer since you pay for everything upfront. First installer did such a poor, sloppy job and left a hole in our dry wall. Second installer was great but didn’t have enough carpet to fix the poor job. Of course the carpet wasn’t in stock so had to wait another two weeks. Because the second installer was so good we requested that he do our third attempt. They made it seem like that was going to happen. Fast forward to the third re-install day, and it’s not the person they told us they were sending - but instead someone who missed the delivery window despite calling us at the beginning because he kept getting lost and then ran out of gas so just turned around. Carpet exchange is taking no accountability since they dole out the install job to a separate person that we never actually deal with. It has been a complete nightmare. Worth any amount of money to have this over and behind us and never use carpet exchange ever again.

Todd Faulker at the Golden store took good care of us. The installers of our luxury vinyl flooring were quick, professional and did a good job. We were amazed they could do about 1000 sq ft of flooring through multiple rooms in a day and a half.

The experience started out positively for having custom carpet stair treads done. Fast forward 10 days late past the promised completion (my sales person went on vacation so apparently that halts the process dead in its tracks) and this is what I am left with. Its perfectly cut! If you dont need the carpet side up 🤦🏼‍♀️ - responding to the business: that is fine and all but meanwhile Im going to have to wait another 3-4 weeks (it will have been two months at that point) and drive an hour and a half to go pick it up. Not really worth $100 off the order. You could at least deliver it to my house.

This is the third time having used Carpet Exchange. Excellent workmanship all three times. The third time, the product was lost in the warehouse and this delayed the installation for two weeks until it was located.

The day of the installation the installers arrived at 11:15 am. half the day was gone. There was a big rip in the middle of the roll of carpet also from where ever they picked up the carpet about a foot of the roll was dragging off the back of the truck on the road to our house. The thing that infuriated me the most and made up My mind to ask for my money back was the right thing to do was the sales lady whos name starts with and A said to me very cavalier, Well I guess in a perfect world these things dont happen. After all that she was trying to make me feel guilty for wanting my money back . WOW!!

We had a positive experience with Carpet Exchange. Matt was our salesperson. He helped us select the right carpet for our needs. He had excellent product knowledge. The best part, he was not pushy but gave us all the information we needed. He was flexible when we needed to push our install date back. He also returned phone calls and emails promptly. The install team was excellent - very customer focused. Worked late at night to finish - quality install!

When we had a water leak on our new Cortec flooring Todd was quick to manage the process of getting it repaired. Although the procedure took longer than we had hoped, it was done well and looks great. Todd was quick to return phone calls and explained the process clearly.

She purchased an area rug from the Golden location and insisted on thanking them for there wonderful service. After taking home a runner to check the colors she returned it and ordered a larger rug for her living room. All her friends think the rug is beautiful and compliment her daily for the selection. I experienced excellent customer service at Carpet Exchange in Golden. I ordered an entry area rug a few weeks before my daughters wedding. I really wanted to have this rug in place for our wedding guests as the wedding was held in our backyard. Todd, the store manager, drove to pick up the rug so it could be delivered to my home in time. He went beyond my expectations and I will never forget it! I am so grateful for his personal effort on my behalf.

Good selection of tile and we like the one we installed, but installation was a fiasco! The bid was much lower than the independent installer. I guess you get what you pay for. Despite my attempt to discuss potential issues with the installer, I was told it would be no problem. It was! An estimated 4 day install turned into 2 months and a lot of mess.

Do NOT shop here. The store Charged me - accidentally over $6000 for a $600 rug. Yes. You read that right. It is STILL- over a week later - NOT reversed so I am - day 7 - into my overdraft. Horrific customer service. Golden location is the worst. I am absolutely letting every single person know to NOT use them. Horrible experience.

EVERY ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES WERE SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. MY SALESPERSON WAS ORIGINALLY ALAN, HOWEVER, HE WAS OUT OF TOWN FOR AWHILE ON EMERGENCY LEAVE AND IN HIS ABSENCE I RECEIVED PHENOMENAL HELP FROM ALL OF THE SALESPEOPLE. IM A VERY INDECISIVE PERSON SO I CAME IN THE STORE ABOUT TEN DIFFERENT TIMES TRYING TO MAKE A DECISION AND EVERY TIME THEY HELPED ME NARROW IT DOWN EVEN MORE, AND ULTIMATELY HELPED ME PICK THE PERFECT CARPET, HARDWOOD AND EVEN A NEW BACK SPLASH FOR MY KITCHEN, WHICH I DIDNT KNOW THEY SOLD. I COULDNT HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT THEM. My husband and I ordered a small bedroom rug on November 26th at this location. Although we were told this was a special order rug, the saleswoman assured us that the rug would most likely arrive before Christmas. Over two months and a handful of patient-minded phone calls later, still no rug. It is now February 12th, and weve officially determined the order was not worth the trouble and waiting. I can understand how special order rugs take time, but the seemingly experienced saleswoman shouldve been honest regarding the arrival of the rug. Its almost impossible that she did not foresee an extremely delayed fulfillment of an order, not to mention every time we spoke with her on the phone, she seemed surprisingly unaware of the increasingly prolonged arrival date. Overall, this a mistake well never make again. The whole situation wouldve been different had there been an upfront, honest arrival estimation date.However, the manager at the location handled the situation swiftly and professionally. We greatly appreciated the help he gave us.

Customer service is lacking in communication. I expect to receive a call when our product arrives at the warehouse, not have to call to keep checking to see if it has arrived. Spent over $11K and would expect a bit more follow up after the sale. Still waiting for a call from the warehouse to coordinate pick up. I assume I will need to call again........ Hopefully the product is in good condition and complete when we pick up.

Had a wonderful experience with Carpet exchange recently. I went in and Alan was able to help me pick exactly what I wanted to carpet my entire house. It was easy, fast efficient. Thank you Alan! The carpet layers did a excellent job and were very miticlous. They even moved all the furniture back the way I wanted it. This place is way better then Home Depot who not only charged me $50 for the qoute but qouted my $2,000.00 more then Carpet Exchange. This is the place to go!!! I will recommend to everyone!

We have had nothing but bad luck with this store. And now, four inspections, three written reports, and a year later, and I still have a 1 gap (or larger by now) in my kitchen floor. My kitchen floor is not waterproofed, has a huge bow in it, and actually moves underfoot. It was glued down in order to stay in place, and even after a report said it was a defective product, they reinstalled the same product again! The store refuses to refund our money now. Ive filed a BBB complaint. BE WARNED!

Since Im still angry at the stores ineptitude, Ill try to keep this adjective free.Ordered, and paid for, 22 boxes of tile on 24 January. I was told the tile would be ready the next Thursday. On that day, I called to check, and was told that 6 boxes were broken. I elected to wait another week to get the whole order at once.The next Thursday, my salesperson, Alex, told me the tile was at a warehouse in Denver. I asked for it to be delivered to the Golden store, as that had always been my understanding of where I would get the tile. Alex said yes, but told me it would be another week. My contractor would start tiling the next Friday, so it was ok. I agreed.The next Thursday, I called the store, and was told, your tile is ready at our warehouse in Denver. When I spoke to my salesperson, Alex, she said, were just a showroom, we cant have it delivered here. I attempted to cancel the order, as they had not met their agreement. The manager, Todd, talked me out of cancelling, assured me the whole order would be put together (the original 16 boxes and the 6 replacements for the broken boxes) and ready first thing on Saturday for pickup at the warehouse. I needed the tile, so I agreed.Saturday, I picked up the wrapped pallet at the warehouse. I was assured it was the whole order. When it was unwrapped at my home, by my contractor and myself, it was 16 boxes, and 3 were broken. I called Alex, who said, Well, you should have counted at the warehouse. The manager, Todd, agreed to have the six, plus replacements for the three broken, delivered to my house the following Friday. I agreed, and my contractor installed the 13 boxes worth.Thursday night, the store called to confirm Friday delivery between 830 and 1230 on Friday. At 1230 on Friday, I called Alex. She a) denied anyone had called for the delivery, b) denied it had ever been scheduled for Friday, c) told me it would be Tuesday. There were no other options offered.Tuesday, at 9, I called to confirm delivery. They could not confirm I would receive the tile. Todd took offense that I was angry, and said, you dont understand how these things work. He told me he would call back in 5 minutes to confirm that days delivery. 15 minutes later, I called back, and he told me that it would be delivered that day. He also said that the whole issue was Alexs fault. He acknowledged that he had promised a Friday delivery, and it had not only failed, but I had waited for a delivery that wouldnt happen, but again said it was Alexs fault for not calling me.In sum: Ordered 24th January, with scheduled pickup in Golden on 31 January. Finally received the complete order on 1 March. The cost to me has been that my contractor has moved to his next job, so my job will be complete as he has time between jobs. Painting, installation of a new gas stove heater, and use of the renovated rooms has been delayed for weeks.

BEWARE: We were ready to buy carpet and schedule an install after three store visits and taking time off for a measurement, but the sales manager who wrote the estimate was not in the store. Another sales associate started to help us, but he could not confirm the measurements, which involved middle school geometry and basic addition. He nor his manager could account for a 33% waste and, therefore, extra cost to us. His attitude let us know that he clearly did not want to waste his time with us because he was not getting a full commission. In fact, he literally told us to go away so that he could help a new customer while we were trying to get a bit of clarification before handing over the credit card. Not only did this sales associate lose our business, but he also lost business for his manager and the company as a whole. Due to his lack of professionalism and rude attitude, we will never purchase anything from Carpet Exchange. Carpet Mill, here we come. Carpet Exchange, you clearly need to retrain some of your employees in elementary mathematics and customer service.
