Ive had two interactions with this place, and theyve both been stellar. They literally just told me they dont fix TVs, but exactly how to do it myself. WHO IS THAT NICE?! And so casually!

My laptop battery was only lasting 30 min so I had to keep it constantly plugged in. Then I bought a new battery but couldn’t install it myself. I kept putting off taking my laptop somewhere for help because I need to use it every single day for work. Perfection Tool & Mac PC Repair installed my new battery and gave me my laptop back in less than 24 hours!Now I can go half a day, moving around to different spots while working, without needing to find my charger. Perfection was able to fix a Ryobi air nailer that the local Ryobi dealer, big-box lumber yard could not fix. They took care of all the details, contacting Ryobi warranty support, examining the tool on-site, fixing her right up. It now works like it did when it came out of the box. From this point forward, every nail driven will be viewed with gratitude, as I thought the tool was destined for recycling or land-filling.

I have gone to this repair place twice for my Mac laptop now, and have had great customer service and good deals both times. As a student, I avoid going to Apple because of the expense, and this is a great, if not better alternative to that because no appointments are necessary, they will get your machine back to you very quickly, and dont charge outrageous prices. They are also very thorough, and you can opt to have them send you texts about their progress so you feel in the loop the whole time. Thank you!

So assuring knowing that I have a place now where I can go to have my tech issues resolved. Like going to an auto mechanic, a computer repair place could tell you whatever they want and you’re over a barrel. These guys (especially Shelbi in my case) were ultra-straight with me, got the job done completely and quickly and I’ve had no issues since. Solid!!!

Took in my MacBook Pro when the backlight stopped working. They claimed the entire LCD assembly needed to be replaced for $400. After searching online, this part is about $250 and takes about an hour to replace: meaning they charge $150/hr in labor. I got a 2nd opinion and it turns out the motherboard had corrosion from water damage by the previous owner. I replaced the motherboard on my own and the machine works fine. I do not believe the merchant even opened my laptop - if they did, they did not notice the water damage which is perhaps even more disconcerting.I do not know what would have happened if I paid $400 for the LCD assembly to be replaced, which was not the cause of the issue. I tried to get my money back from the bank, but the merchant insists their incorrect diagnosis was in-fact correct. This whole issue, on top of their sarcastic notices on mask policies, the fact that they were watching Netflix instead of communicating me, and their inability to provide a correct, specific diagnosis makes it difficult to recommend this business.

Shelbi is amazing. Shelbi and Marlin have been taking care of all our computer needs for 5 years. Whether it’s an Apple issue, PC issue, hardware or software they are the ones to see. They are prompt, knowledgeable, and very fair priced. I highly recommend their shop.

Shelbi was awesome! College daughter was home for fall break and her hard-drive died without a recent back-up. Thought the data was gone, but Shelbi replaced the drive and determined the drive cord was also bad. Once she replaced that, she was able to clone the drive and recover all of the data. Big relief for my daughter! Shelbi did all of this on a Saturday and stayed late to finish cloning the drive so my daughter could head back to school on Sunday! She was a life-saver!

I called Perfection and they were able to take my computer the same day and I got it back the next day. I had a new hard drive and more RAM installed. They gave me a bid price before doing any work which outlined exactly what they would do. The bid price and what I paid did not change. I even cross-referenced their pricing and turnaround time with a couple other places and they were by far the best. So so pleased with their service!!!

The staff at Perfection did a very good job communicating the issues they found with my computer and did everything in a very timely manner. Shelbi continuously texted me to let me know what was going on. It can be a pain to go to big stores such as Best Buy where it doesnt seem like the staff care at all, this is not the case at Perfection. They were up front with the issues with my computer and straightforward/honest to how much it would cost.

My Windows 10 laptop was aborting on Excel and Word files. Each time,I could recover the file I was working on, so I let the problem go on until I suddenly was unable to recover two files. That caused me to finally take it to Mac PC Repair. She found that the hard drive was failing, and she replaced it and reloaded my files and applications. She tried to recover my two files, but that was not possible. She also did a tune-up. It was returned to me in great condition after only 1 day and at a very reasonable price.I can highly recommend Mac PC Repair....just dont wait when you think your computer might have a problem!

Helped fix my computer very fast.

I was recently in a major bind with some potential lost data on my crashed work computer. I always like to support local business but in this instance, I felt like I needed to go to one of the large national stores who actually has a department who handles this. They took my computer to their work area for about 15 minutes, came back out with it and I was then told that my only option would be to send out my computer...and it would be around $700. I ran into a friend here in Golden who recommended I speak with Shelbi at Perfection. She did an amazing job; only needing my computer for a couple of hours and was able to pull over all the “lost data” at a fraction of the cost of the big store. I would highly recommend her services!

Took my HP Spectre here to get a new dc jack, service was friendly and quick. However, the back of the case wasnt put on fully, half the screws werent in all the way, one was completely stripped, there were tool pry marks on the metal case, and I can see two places where it was cracked in the replacement process. I feel like I could have done a better job myself, just didnt have the time. Decided to just finish putting it together myself.

I brought my machine here as I needed my windows reloaded and data backed up. They were super fast, I got it back in less the 5 hours! I will go nowhere else!!! Worked hard to fit in my busy schedule where I almost always need my comp, 2 short visits (one for part model number to order, one to install) later and my comp works much better than before! They helped replace my screen cause there were a lot of dead pixels stuck on green, even after running software that was supposed to fix it myself

I have been coming to this place for years. From tool repair to computers they have you covered, I recently bought a used computer from here they were very helpful and got me exactly what I needed for a great price. If you need anything for tools or computers this is the place to go.

These folks provide tech expertise backed up by great customer service. They also sell refurbished computers. I was able to put together a complete (gently used) desktop system for $170 !!

The turnaround is rapid fire as not only does Shelbi know Macs, but she knows how dependent we are on our computers and how important it is for them to work with perfection! Convenient location!

Took my computer to these people to diagnose my computer and they sold me a new hardrive and windows 10 ($200) and later I upgraded my motherboard, cpu, and ram. My computer kept crashing on my games so I took it back to them. They said they needed to wipe everything and charged me for windows again ($100) and they installed version 1511 of windows and the current version is 1813 and didnt install all the drivers needed, and my games still crash. I recommend going to the geek squad or somewhere else in town because these people just take your money.

I brought my laptop in to get my speaker repaired. They told me they would give me a call with a quote. I didnt receive a call after a full day, so I called back. I was told on the phone that they were looking for the part and couldnt find it yet. They called me back the next day and told me that they couldnt find the part. They told me that I could pick up my laptop whenever it was convenient for me as they could not fix it. I went to pick it up and got charged $50 because they took off the frame to check the part. Overall, I paid them $50 to take out a few screws, keep my laptop for a few days, and give it back. My left speaker still doesnt work.

Please dont listen to Nicoles review she did it without my permission and this is the boyfriend and I got my receipt and he is working with me to get my computer working and being cool with me and we have been testing the power supply for a 1hr or more to make sure that it will not die on me and now my computer works and bought more stuff that I needed like a fan for my PC and when I get home I will have Nicole remove her review ASAP so please come to this store for all of your computer needs thank you 😇

My computer seemed like it was bricked after I had performed a rather haphazard install of a new tower cooler. Wouldnt boot into Windows and couldnt see the video card. For $100 they cleaned it up and got it so that Windows was boot-able again. They also performed some low-level diagnostics on the video card. Although they recommended that I install a new motherboard to solve the issue, I was able to flash the BIOS when I got home and everything started working normally. Happy to trade $100 for a working computer, especially when I thought I had broken something irrevocably.

After bringing in my hardDrive in to find a replacement dc power supply cord, my SeaGate external hard drive smelled of burnt electrics/hardware. The lady working at the time offered to attempt to transfer data onto another device, for a fee of course. She was polite/cordial, but had just fried my baby... I was upset, so I left and took it to “GeekSquad- Best Buy,” they determined after diagnostics a recovery of data would cost around $800, with severe reservations on actually being able to retrieve any of it😔Catastrophic failure!! Data is gone, don’t feel like it’s worth pursuing any further, sucks..Just wish I would have gone into Best Buy first, and purchased a cord, before having years of data/investment lost to the digital gods...I’m not seeking reimbursement, just want to share my experience....Thanks Elise🙄
