Another game store happy to get in on scalper prices for pokemon. Watched their celebrations delivery arrive, only to be told that 3 mini tins ($27 MSRP) were actually going to cost me $70 plus tax. And to think, I even thanked them for their time before leaving and having the owner yell guess you can try your luck on ebay as I was leaving.

We went in for the first time today, semi late in the day, with young kids. I have to say, the staff here were nothing but helpful. They helped my kids pick out paints for figurines, recommended board games and were extremely knowledgeable. We will 100% be back.

One of my go to places for hobby game stuff like warhammer. They always have a great stock and often have stock of things you cant get anywhere else. All the staff are super helpful. Its easy to get caught up just having a conversation with them. They carry a lot of other games and have a good selection of d&d. All in your local hobby shop, skip the big corporate chains and come here.

This store is so cool, really helpful and knowledgeable staff I strongly recommend you go there for your warhammer and magic the gathering needs. They also have cool specialist games and some board games. Highly recommended.They also dont pressure upsells which is really nice. Like every business will try to upsell thats normal but they have just the right touch where you really dont feel on the spot. Ace business practices. Will absolutely spend more money here and so should you.

Worst store Ive been to. Smelled like weed, no one was wearing a mask, a blasting TV, and an unwelcoming staff. I felt like an annoyance being there, and they dont even have a good selection of games. I dont plan on ever returning.

Nice family friendly Store

Friends and I came in to look at MAGIC cards and was greeted by a very friendly and helpful employee behind the counter. My friend and I explained what kind of decks we wanted to go for and he walked us through the decks he built and even helped save us some money by keeping us in budget. Will definitely be stopping here again when Im in the area, and wish all game shops were like this one. Kudos again to the employee that helped us, he was one of the nicest and most helpful dudes.

Arrived at posted time of opening and waited 15 minutes. Nobody was there. I tried calling a few times and nobody answered. I will spend my money at another store. Dont waste your time.

This place is cool and independent. They have a bunch of stuff, though not everything to my needs. I prefer more board games but they have some, as well Magic the gathering cards and Warhammer type stuff.They do in house gaming so check their schedule if you want to play.More of a gaming store than a game store but still pretty cool

I live nearby and have been by two times. One time it was 3pm on a Saturday. The other was around 2.15pm on a Wednesday. Both times no one is around and its closed. I looked through the window and the selection looks decent, but I bet theyd make more money if they were actually open when the hours state they will be.

I just moved here less than a month ago and was looking for a place to play some magic nearby. I came in to check this place out and I was sorely disappointed. This place is horrible and here’s why:1.) The shopping center doesn’t look like it’s been mantained at all. Chipped paint, trash everywhere, serious disrepair. It looks downright post apocalyptic. If I owned a business here I would lose it on my landlord. Yikes. But I thought maybe the inside of the store would be nice.2.) Nope. Upon walking in, I first noticed how small it was (no big deal) then how filthy it was (big deal). The pictures on Google we’re clearly taken after the store opened or after some through cleaning. The carpet was foul and needed to be replaced years ago. There wasn’t any decoration or attempt to make the store feel branded; white walls, mismatched furniture, everything looked cheap as hell. It was cramped and cluttered. Just awful.3.) While the store was extremely cluttered, they didn’t seem to have much at all. The selection was sparse, nothing was priced, and it was hard to tell what was for sale and what wasn’t. There seems to be a lack of storage space, and what little there was wasn’t being used well.4.) I walked in and meandered around the store for a few minutes to see how long it would take to be greeted. I made a loop around the entire store. Finally, when I came within 5ft of the register the dude behind the counter looked up from whatever he was doing on the computer and asked if he could help me. He mostly mumbled throughout the transaction and I had to ask him to repeat himself several times because I could hardly hear him... he seemed to get a bit annoyed with this. I was hoping to stay awhile when I came in, but I just made my purchase and got the heck out.All in all, I’m pretty bummed. I wanted to support a local card shop (this one is within 2 miles of me), but I can’t do business here. I can’t spend money in a shop that the owners clearly don’t take any pride in. If it cleans up, I will be back, but for now I will be driving 10-15 miles to other shops just to avoid this one.TL;DR this place is disgusting. Don’t shop here.

My first judgment of this place was wrong. It is not a magic store necessary but the owner will find what you want to the best of his capabilities. And have a warm greeting for you. Now if you are a War Hammer player or games like that this is the place I would give it 4 star review for that. But now I am considering playing.

Went in for the first time with a list of mtg singles to build a custom deck, the owner was quick and relatively organized in searching for and finding every card I needed plus a few keen suggestions. Prices were exactly where I expected them to be, and checkout was quick and painless. I didnt do too much looking around, but it appears they stock a wide variety of trading card games, Warhammer odds and ends, and some legacy game systems and video games as well. Nice space, spacious, plenty of tables for events and such, some snacks too. Seems like a good spot, and it seems like theyre doing pretty well for being a relatively new business (I think I heard 4 years? Nice work!). Ill be back next time I need to build another deck, for sure.

Honestly I gave three because its in the middle but me and a few of my friends will be going Sunday for all the fun Im new to magic so Im hoping this will be a helpful friendly place for a newbie who has much to learn . See you Sunday atomic games !

My Honest and Truthful experience in this store was the worst I have ever experienced I am fairly new to area/gaming world and thought it would be a good store to go in and spend too much money on things, but had my mind changed in hurry. Very Dirty and Cluttered tables set up for tournaments to where you couldnt get around and through to the back of store to see everything else on the shelves. Took a couple minutes to be greeted. Now the first time I went in I bought a $35 legendary creature, once I got home realized I already had one in excellent shape in my deck so I decided to go back the next day when I got off work to exchange for a legendary that I did not have and at first was told that would be able to be done(at the cash register) walked to the first glass case closest to cashier to look at creatures, within the time of walking between places and pulling out my deck to double check he changed his mind because he started saying that it wasnt the card he had sold me because it was too worn. Now granted this was a Goblin Wizard and their original price was at $37.80 when we first asked to see it and he said that we probably dont want to pay the price on it as soon as we asked to see it. When we said yes we do we are willing to spend money in this store he then pulled it out and lowered the price $2 and sold it to us for $35 and husband bought a starter pack along with this card so grand total almost $50. we were stoked we said we would be back and we found out about the game days and were going to do those too but when as soon as he said that I didnt hear what I did hear and that there are no store exchanges period right after I was told there was I got upset and he said he is honest and was trying to be nice and this is what he gets for being nice. if you were being nice first off then why did you change to upset me and call me a liar to my face. may its because I am a Woman or because Im in my mid 20s... I was also the only customer in the store when this happened the day I bought the card though I was the only girl among 20 guys in that store because there was a tournament or something going on, was with my husband and he only acknowledged my husband even with me there next to him talk too.

They helped my friend build a bogle deck I still havent been able to beat.

Worst card shop around.First time I went the store was still closed an hour after business hours said they open. No big deal. Ill wait. Owners ex wife shows up more than ready to air their personal drama. Dude finally shows up, lets us waiting folks in, place smells like weed. I dont personally care but those of you w kids might. Dude was short and demeaning, but I chalked it up to Baby mama stress. Got my cards, went about my day, no review.Trip 2 Im just browsing looking for a fun card to alter or build a deck around. I ask to see a binder and he asks what card im looking for. I tell him nothing in particular, just looking. He tells me he doesnt want me looking through his binder because people steal. I mention that I am the only one in the store and he can watch me browse if he is worried. You need my keys for security deposit? Dude starts yelling, i stopped listening and peaced out. Wont be back. Ever.

My go to place for Warmachine on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Good vibe, lots of tables. Owner is very friendly and has not pressured anyone that Ive scene to finish it wrap up a game because it was getting late.

If you are a parent and are ready by this do not bring your kids here. The owner is constantly stepping out back to smoke weed. I know weed is legal in CO but I still dont want my kids sitting in the play area near the back door when a cloud of weed smoke comes billowing in to give everyone a contact high.

I love going into Atomic Games for cards. They are always friendly and willing to take time to get to know you even if you are only there for 5 minutes, and are also willing to give advice on cards for a deck, even if they dont have it.

If you guys are not going to stick to your store hours, then dont post those hours. Drove all the way over there because you were supposed to open at 1pm, got there at 1:30pm and you were closed. Thank you, I went some where else.

One of the Best Stores for Warmachine/Hordes and MtG:Commander

Definitely not the place for video games. I was fooled by the other reviews into checking this store out. Without question the worst game store I have ever been to.There is a very small selection of video games. Those few games are kept behind a glass counter where they cant be touched by customers. If you see something interesting you can ask the owner to take a break from playing his table top game for a moment and maybe let you check it out. The owner will then come over to help you, but will not actually let you see the game. Instead he will take it over to the computer and start searching for prices.At this point I was a bit confused, but then I noticed that none of the games had a price marked. So every time you want to know what a game will cost, you have to wait several minutes for the owner to go through this process of checking Amazon, then checking eBay to try and figure out how much he can charge.Now comes the best part. I asked for a price on a used copy of ChronoTrigger DS and a couple of other games. After waiting while he searched, and having the owner explain to me that the video game market is too fluid to put a price tag on games, and I should expect to pay what games are worth, he finally came back with a price that was $2 higher than amazon charges for a brand new copy. He then started the process over again for the next game. When I told him it wasnt necessary to look up any more if theyre just going to be ebay prices, he got mad, said something condescending and went back to play his table top game.He went on to say some more nonsense but thats probably enough to give you the idea. Terrible selection, hostile atmosphere, games under glass, no set prices, no need to waste your time.

UPDATED: not only are their hours different than the ones here, the store also was not open almost half an hour after their Sunday hours were slated to begin. Im trying to support this business, but these behaviors make my patronage unnecessarily difficult.I have shopped here many times in the past and had good experiences every time. That being said, their hours are extremely unreliable as here it says they open at 12 on Sundays when I fact they dont open until 3 PM. After driving out from Denver it is very frustrating to turn back empty handed because they dont have courtesy to update their hours.

So my dad and I went in to see what the store had to offer in terms of video games, there were some problems:a) nothing was priced, he wanted to squeeze out every dollar he could.b) He tried to sell us a new copy of chrono trigger DS for $125. Chrono trigger new is about 24.99 US.c) After we said that we werent interested in his obvious rip-off, he was very rude and said If you want a discount, go to the flea marketSo, in conclusion: dont go here if you expect fair prices.

Great selection of cards for edh and standard. Carry lots of sealed product . Awesome prerelease events, true midnight prereleases. They also carry retro game product. Store is located next to some bars and restaurants if you want to get a food or drink.Cons: On the smaller side of games stores, and disorganized at times. Can be difficult to do trade ins with. Not much of tournament or competitive scene. No cash payout events. No Yu-Gi-Oh scene. No mtg modern scene.Overall a great place to play a casual game of commander, Warhammer, xwing or warmachine. Although lacking in the competitive/tournament scene.
