Stopped here while vacationing in Colorado and I have to say, this was my favorite shop. The manager is very talented and kind, the employees are so sweet and more than willing to help you. I am definitely coming here again when Im in Colorado. Their crystals are beautiful and the perfect gift/souvenir to bring back home. Great store! A MUST VISIT if youre in Denver! New store manager is amazing.. very knowledgeable and helpful. Priced fairly and one of the few gifts you can bring back home with you and keep on you forever. TSA Safe I always grab some moonstone and got introduced to pyrocite 🙏 Good vibes all around go get yourselves some quality gemstones while walking out feeling refreshed and chakras realigned.

I love this place so much!! As soon as I entered I was welcomed by so much positive energy! As I was walking around I felt at peace and at home. The staff here are amazing and have so much knowledge and insight. Barb and Isaiah helped me as I was looking around and I was able to learn more about myself and with their guidance I was able to buy some items they felt could benefit me and my spiritual journey. Cool little metaphysical shop in downtown Golden. Nice, helpful staff. All stones labeled with attribute cards you can take. Prices reasonable but watch the sticker. Some stones are rarer and $$$.

My friend and I came on Sunday. Absolutely wonderful place. We felt so welcomed. I’m horrible anymore with names. But, I can definitely describe the 2 wonderful spirits there. Fantastic beautiful lady, who welcomed us and my friend’s corny jokes. She’s a Cancer and the other amazing soft spirited guy- he was a Leo who has a Gemini 5 year old daughter. They were so inviting - like meeting old friends on a shared journey. In addition, the store has such a wonderful inviting atmosphere with a great selection. My new favorite place!!! If you are into crystals, chances are you’re pretty into vibes and energy. This shop has nothing but good vibes. The set up of the store is amazing and they always have back up cards if for some reasons there aren’t specific ones on the floor.Now let’s talk about the staff. Wow. What genuine human beings. Andi (sorry if I misspelled your name!) was an absolute gem and so were the other employees. All of them are educated in crystals and can offer so much insight.We didn’t get to go to any of the workshops they were offering when visiting, but we plan to when we come back!

Best crystal shop in Colorado and the smell of the place is literally heaven...my dad past away and Ive been looking for ways to get over my loss and i figured i try something new with crystals and the whole spiritual side,as soon as i walked in i was welcomed by a lovely young man who was very informative about the store and the space. Not only did he help me find a few crystals that really brightened me up he did a special clearing with a large white crystal wand and helped me let go of some of the sadness and pain...They even do classes for whoever wants to join, I will definitely be returning for more great conversations I LOVE THIS PLACE.. YOU GUYS ARE A BLESSING!!!!!

This is an incredible store in that they have amazing selection, organization, prices, and quality!!! Maddy and Liz were there the night I went, and they both are incredible. We came in from Texas and while I love the crystal shops we have down there - Golden Rock Shop felt very special and I’m glad we found it. Very beautiful, unique selection. Nice store, but the employees make the experience unsettling. I was greeted by someone not wearing a mask. The whole time I was browsing I was being watched closely. I’m not a thief! The cashier was also wearing their mask improperly. Overall a poor experience, but I’m happy with the purchase I made.

Id give it less than one star if I could. In terms of the pros of this store, the specimens they sell are a very high quality and that the selection offered is actually fairly decent!However, as someone local to Colorado whos stopped in from time to time Ive had a fairly sub par experience overall. Though the natural specimens were top tier, the prices are criminally high, especially compared to the plethora of other gem and rock stores Ive been to elsewhere in this state. Most of the gemstone carvings they sell are priced at twice and sometimes thrice the amount that the others charge for the exact same carvings. I recognize bulk when I see it and it should not be this expensive!! especially if its just selenite or quartz!!The shock came when i was charged around 68$ for 3 items two of which were smaller than my fist and one of which (a really pleasant laser etched crystal grid smaller than a dinner plate) was $26 dollars...if I had known before coming to this store I would have just waited until I returned to my college to make one myself. The previous time I visited they had a stock of Moldevite, I was in with a good amount of money and purchased a Moldevite bracelet from the place but later found out it was fake and I had sank $90 into it. This, I feel, attests to the staffs blatant lack of knowledge on the products sold at their store, risk should not be something for the customer to take on especially when dealing with potential fake specimens that burn money.Price is just one of the qualms I have with this store, though i dont doubt the beliefs that the staff may have at this store or care that they hold toward their jobs, theyre very lackluster with their understanding of the gems they sell and though the atmosphere of the place of itself is good..I cant help but notice how passionless and pandering to tourists it feels, suffice to say Ive seen dollhouses that feel less plastic than this store.I can say with complete confidence that I will never be coming back to this store unless Im dragged here kicking and screaming.TL;DR:if youre a beginning or in general a witch, practitioner or someone who just really likes rocks THIS STORE IS NOT FOR YOU!! its fake and clearly money/tourist driven, the bulk stock turns my stomach and you can feel how fake this place is the moment you walk in. Theres another place in the area 5-10 minutes away thats much more worth your time!

This little shop is worth the visit! How can a place feel so calm and electrified at the same time? The staff was so attentive and answered all my novice questions. I left with the perfect bracelet! The energy is amazing and the giant Amethyst alone was worth my visit! Something for every price range and style! The quaint storefront on a charming stretch of shops makes the whole street an experience! They even had sage bundles and cleared the energy of my bracelet before I left! If you are looking to find your Zen, increase your empathy or improve your energy, look no further than Golden Rock Shop!

I am very sensitive to the energy I feel walking into metaphysical shops. I can feel right off the bat if they’re doing what they’re doing just to make money or to make a difference and but genuine intention into their business. I am obsessed with everything about this shop. I don’t live in Colorado but I heard about this shop from a friend and I have been following their Instagram to see more. I came across this beautiful Oracle deck and immediately was in love. I called them and told them I wanted to buy it and they were so accommodating! They took my card info over the phone and shipped it to me and I had the deck in had in only 4 days! I couldn’t believe how amazing their customer service is. Especially their lovely employee Madi. She was so kind and so willing to help me with answering all my questions. She even gave me tons of advice about the Oracle deck I ordered such as when the best time to use it is and how to cleanse it. I highly recommend this shop to everyone! It’s a 12/10 from me!

I am so thankful I decided to stop in this store. Having visited from Wisconsin, I was blown away by the quality of their crystals and the prices. They were extremely reasonable and the staff were there to help all the time! Blessed the Powers that be for this shop was beyond my expectations. I had been looking for a Peridot Ring for awhile. I called the store spoke with Madi who took my number and name said she would contact me when my size came in. Than just as I started to look at one I recieved her call. Went the next day loved it so much I walked away with 3 more just as amazing. The energy from the varity of stones is through the roof. I came in last weekend with my family. Im in a wheelchair and sometimes its hard for me to move around. These guys were incredibly nice and made sure I was able to get around the store. Awesome place came out tingling

We drove in from Berthoud, not far, but we really needed what we were looking for. The staff at Wings of Eagles (just up the street) told us about the Golden Rock Shop; we were blown away by the number and variety of stones and crystals available there. Even though the Rock Shop was very busy, it was still serene, a mood set by the beauty within the store, the light incense and the happy, calm, competent staff member. We found exactly what we needed...and more. Great prices. We are going back tomorrow!

Totally awesome place. Its a hidden gem. Pun intended! Ive spent a good part of my life hunting crystals in Arkansas. (Look it up. Arkansas has crystals for days.) So finding this place was absolutely awesome for me. They have an amazing supply of different precious stones. Perfect place to buy gifts for family and friends. Very well priced, given its location. I suggest you stop in and check it out if you have any love for rocks. Staff is very knowledgeable.

The people here are friendly and knowledgeable. I loved learning about different crystals and now have a little collection. They also have an amazing incense selection.

Shop has some cool things but unfortunately Leadership and owners are very unprofessional and do not run the business well. They do not practice what they preach as a healing, open and spiritual place of business. Do not treat staff with respect and do not pay on time. This is not a place to heal or learn about a higher vibration. It’s just about making money. Just another group of people jumping on the metaphysical and crystal healing bandwagon ! Go elsewhere for your spiritual and metaphysical needs !

Glad I found this place. I met Drew and Lailee (sorry if I mispelled) and they were able to guide me to the right crystals. I especially got timely advice from Lailee. I stopped by the Golden Rock Shop about a week ago because I was looking for something to help with my inability to sleep well lately. The lovely lady who helped me (Sarah) recommended that I get a quartz crystal for my bedroom to clear the negative energy away from my sleeping space and also showed me how to clear and bless the quartz for future use. Sarah was delightful and very helpful, especially since I am an almost complete novice when it comes to crystals. Ive been sleeping much better, thanks Sarah!

I am so glad we finally have a gem store here. They have a great atmosphere and I dont feel rushed when Im browsing. Theres products for sale too like malas and rings and necklaces. I bought a succulent and rose of jericho there too, both of which are thriving. Good selection of rocks and gems, and I like that they have a little explanation on the metaphysical qualities of the gems. They lose a star for being a bit expensive.
