Had the part I needed, at least the employee pointed me to the right drawers, they only had 2 o-rings I needed, so I let them know they were out now, and was told they only order once a month, so no more coming soon.

Went to Meyer’s to support a local little business today. Wanted to grab lunch next store at miners saloon next store so I popped in to let them know not to tow me. They said I wasn’t allowed to park at Meyer’s.I asked if I shopped first would it be ok.Nope.I wouldn’t have minded not parking there if they were busy at all but the two ladies working in the front were also incredibly rude and there was no one else parked in their spots.

Another great visit to a nice, well-stocked local hardware store. Friendly staff, competitive prices (had 4 keys cut at 1/3rd the price of a locksmith shop 6 miles away...) and 9 times out of 10 they have exactly what I need - what more could you ask for?

Once again, saved by Meyer Hardware. My 42 year old BMW motorcycle rebuild was going well, till some stripped screws inside the old Bing CV carbs threw me a curve. I looked at all the good BMW restoration sites, no luck and knew Id just have to go trying to find a match in a store. A needle in a haystack were my odds, I thought.First stop, Meyer because their assortment of nuts and bolts for every application is second to none. An older gentleman (even older than me!) immediately asked to help and within minutes, we found a likely match.The cost - $.88 for 4 tiny bolts Id have gladly payed many (many, many) times that for online, had I found them. So as always, I bought some other items so I at least hit $10.00 and made my business somewhat worth their while.They fit perfectly.Nicest most helpful store youll ever experience. In a world gone crazy, this store (and its staff) is a beautiful ray of sunshine.

I have been visiting Meyer Hardware for about 20 years and have never been disappointed. I tend to improvise projects so I sometimes brainstorm a bit with the staff to reach a reasonable solution to my problem. They have never let me down. Just this week, I went in because I have to repair a delaminated ski and asked for recommendations on a more flexible epoxy. This isnt your usual hardware store type of question, but as usual, the advice was exactly what was needed.

Surprisingly big selection for a small town hardware store. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the prices are comparable to Home Depot or Lowes.

Staff at Meyers is personable, patient and helpful. They have many things the larger hardware stores dont carry. In fact, Home Depot suggested them to us for that reason! Family run for many, many years!

I have always appreciated that you can buy the amount of nuts and bolts you need for a reasonable price and not have to buy double the amount of nuts and bolts for triple the price!

If youre a fan of Lowes or Home Depot, this place is probably not for you. If youre a fan of excellent customer service, Meyer Hardware should be your go to hardware store. I went to have my house key duplicated today.Although I cant always find what Im looking for, they carry a large variety of items.Kevin assisted me, he was very courteous and helpful. As he removed my key from my key ring he explained why he had to do so (my car key may have been damaged if it had been left on the ring). We engaged in a discussion about the replacement cost for the remote fobs. I mentioned how much I paid recently for a battery ($25) and Kevin mentioned that he could change it for $4, including the installation. This is what I refer to as old fashioned customer service!!Getting back to my house key, the fee schedule is posted in clear sight ($1.00) for a single key. Ace Hardware charged me $3.00 to duplicate the same key.Furthermore, no one blinked an eye when I walked in with my dog, in fact, a cashier asked if she could give Morgan a treat. Needless to say, I am very pleased with this place!

Amazing hardware store!

Great, medium size hardware store in convenient location in downtown Golden. Great for paint and all sorts of DYI items for around the home and garden. The only supplies they dont really have are lumber, bulk building supplies eg. Concrete plus plants. Unfortunately these types of special, traditional family-run hardware stores are under pressure from the Home Depots of the world. Highly recommended. Suggest you support Myers where you can if you like small family businesses in the community

Love this place, they have a great staff. Always friendly and ready to help in anyway they can. Our company has been using them for years for most all our hardware and paint needs.

About the same prices as the box stores, but the expertise of the employees is so high here is such that youll get what you need much faster and with little stress. Ive even found that it saves time to go here before I head out to the box store rather than try to find all the little pieces at the giant store.

Meyers is amazingly stocked with most any widget I need on a moments notice. How many places offer 4 different ways to repair a broom handle? Meyers does! The ambient music is as dated as the old school but generally quick and solid service. As a Golden resident I cherish this place!

The employees greet you every time you come in, direct you to the area you need to go, and help you as needed. One of the pluses of small home town business.

This place should be your first stop for a project and project help. Customer service here is top notch. Way way better than the box stores. The prices are very competitive with the box stores, sometimes a little less and sometimes a bit more. But the shopping experience really can’t be beat and harkens back to a time when the customer came first. Great variety of things as well for something better than box stores. And if they don’t have it they are happy to suggest another store that might.

If it exists, some body at Meyer knows about it. If they dont have it, they know where you can get it and probably how to use it. You wont ever find your self wandering the isles of desperately seeking a knowledgeable person. The employees really are the best. You definitely pay a premium for their products, but you wont waste two hours wandering the canyons of the Home Despot searching for your widget either.

Always have exactly what I need and good prices. The employees are all so helpful and nice. Whoever manages this store...kudos!

Best small town hard wear store around, with the best customer service.

The best kind of small town hardware store. A surprisingly wide selection - from hardware to home repair, automotive, electrical, camping, bicycling, hunting, painting, cooking, cleaning, .... The knowledgeable clerks will take absolutely unreasonable amounts of time to give advice on a $5 item. I go at least twice a week. Very friendly to dogs and children. They can send items out for repair and also order specialty items for you.

Excellent Hardware store. They dont have everything but as someone said, If they dont have it, you probably dont need it. At least you can find out that they dont have it in five minutes instead of wandering around a warehouse for 30-40 minutes. For someone who has been dealing with the big chain stores, this place is a relief. The folks at Meyer Hardware actually want to help!

Steve, Jimmy, Greg, and the entire staff consistently provide excellent service on every visit. And the selection of items in the store seem to reflect most every need a Golden resident will have - from kitchen & household products, camping gear, hunting gear, lawn & garden, to plumbing, electrical, tack, & most every nut, bolt or washer you need.
