I use the glass chair mat on carpet and it is hands-down the best investment I have made for my home office in years. Im glad I opted for a larger size as I never have to worry about rolling off the edge. The casters I ordered made a big difference and are very quiet compared to the plastic ones they replaced. Shipping was fast and the setup was relatively easy with two people. I am extremely happy with this purchase and recommend Vitrazza to everyone!

The Vitrazza glass mat is so much better than those flimsy plastic mats I used to buy over and over again because they last for such a short time.One thing Vitrazza could do to make their mats even better is to bevel the top edges of the mat in a smooth, gently sloping, rounded fashion so that stepping onto it with bare feet would not feel so unpleasant, and so that rolling an office chair back onto the mat would be much easier. It would make an excellent additional selling point.If this was done, I would consider buying another Vitrazza mat to replace the one I have already purchased.

This glass mat is everything it was advertised to be. While they recommend 2 people unpack and position it I was able to do it myself very carefully and sliding gently and slowly into position. It sits well on carpet . I also ordered the new wheels for my older chair and now I move easily around my desk.

If you want to be able to easily roll around on a chair mat that is placed on carpet, the Vitrazza glass mat is perfect! Dont mess with any of the plastic or vinyl mats. They eventually become uneven and difficult to move around on. You pay a premium for Vitrazza mats, but the long-lasting performance is definitely worth it.

Well packaged, with three sets of self-adhesive rubber feet for varying floor/carpet surfaces. The mat is very strong and remained scratch-free as I rolled my office chair over it. The chair has some sort of plastic wheels.

For years Ive been fighting with the dimples in the old plastic mats. I had replaced them several times but within a few months, there were dimples from the chair wheels that made it impossible to move the chair. This glass mat not only ended my fight with those dimples but it looks awesome. So worth the money!

I love my glass floor mat. I have the 36 x 48 size which is perfect for my desk. It looks lovely over the rug, the desk chair glides smoothly over it - no noise from the casters on the chair. And of course it wont crack and crackle over time as my old plastic one did My only regret is that it doesnt come with a lipto fit under the desk so occasionally, I might move the chair a bit too close to the opening and it will tend to slide off, Not a big problem, but a lip would be nice, Perhaps you can specialize order this, All in all, I can highly recommend the glass mats.

The glass pad is much nicer on the eyes, more durable and smoother than the plastic mats I’ve used in the past. Well worth the cost. Delivered quickly and intact. Would do business here again.

These glass mats are the real deal. Very high quality glass is meticulously packed and shipped to you door. Any issues or questions are handled the same day. I received my first mat and despite the armor like packaging I noticed a slight chip on the very edge of the glass. The chip didn’t really bother me and it would not interfere with usage but I brought this this to the attention of Customer Service anyway. This was basically their response.So sorry. Should not have been that way. We are sending a replacement mat that will ship today Do what you want with the chipped mat, we don’t need it sent back. I bought an expensive office chair with casters that were supposed to work on carpet or hard floors, well, I had carpet, and the very expensive chair didnt roll on the carpet, unless I pushed off with my feet. What to do? I read about glass mats, some made of hard plastic, and the reviews for them were not encouraging, until I came across reviews for mats made by Vitrazza, the reviews were very positive, so, I measured the space in front of my desk, and ordered the mat. I can tell you the surface of the mat is not slippery, I thought maybe it would be slippery, not at all, I walk across it with just socks on not noticing anything that would cause a slip. The chair rolls without any problems, and that is what counts. So, I give a thumbs up for this glass mat.

It is hard to imagine that a chair mat could really make a significant difference to the comfort of working at a desk yet the Vitrazza mat does exactly that. The chair is stable until I want it to move and the mat covers enough territory that I can easily move from computer to printer to files. The mat is attractive, easily cleaned, and clearly will last. Im only a couple of weeks in, but so far, its great. Recent home office remodel. Hated the idea of putting plastic mats or wood mat over the new carpet. Swallowed hard at the expense of the glass mat, but it really makes the room pop. Was expecting solid functional benefit, but I didnt expect it to provide some much aesthetic value. Very happy with it. Glad I got the largest standard rectangle size avail (4x6ft). I think Id be pretty frustrated if Id undershot on size. Its a pretty big step when a wheel goes off the edge. Rolls back on easy enough, but with the large surface area of the large mat, it doesnt happen often.

I have carpet in my home office and find chair mats very annoying. I spent a lot of money on a regular chair mat to alleviate the “dips” in the mat that prevents you from moving smoothly. That still didn’t work. I saw a commercial for Vitrazza and decided to give it a try. I’m so happy I did!!! It’s perfect! Now my chair glides without effort. This is well worth the money!

It is vastly superior to any plastic mat I have ever used. The look is clean and elegant, the chair glides effortlessly acrosss the mat, and if the chair wheel comes off the mat, it is easy to get it back on due to the bevled edges. I am quite happy with the glass mat. Be careful though. Unpacking should be done by two people and if using on tile, be careful to use the rubber bumpers to ensure you do not scratch the glass when laying it on uneven tile. I am happy with my purchase.

Why did I wait so long . . .I saw glass chair pads 5 years ago and did not purchase one. At the time, I had a perfectly good plastic one in my apartment. When I bought a condo with wood floors I just didn’t have a chair mat until now. No question I should have done this years ago. My floor is protected and it’s amazing how easy it is to move around. I love everything about this fabulous chair mat. It was packed perfectly, arrived quickly, and does not scratch or obstruct movement at all. If I had to change anything, I would have gone bigger. It could be a little deeper for me, but everyones setup is different. I immediately bought new inline-skate type wheels for my chair. A set of five is like $25 and now free moving and silent. Highly recommend that addition. What a great invention! Expensive, but worth every cent.

The chair mat is great. Low friction, it makes moving around much easier. It does wander a bit on the underlying carpet, but stops when it hits a desk leg. Hopefully, it wont move the desk.

Bought the 46 x 60 / Luminoso (Low Iron Ultra Clear) glass mat. If you want the best of the best in glass mats, this is it. It sits heavy on the carpet, and I think itll sit just fine without the stabil-a-dot system but I went ahead and used it anyways. I have a thicker carpet, their default stabil-a-dots work great. They do have a larger stabil-a-dot available for thicker carpets.The mat is elegant, and I feel oh so classy. 10/10, would buy again without a moments hesitation.You remember the good old days when youd walk into a mom-n-pop local store, and youd feel like youre the most important person in the world? Thats how I felt working with Vitrazza. I sent an inquiry about the best way to use the stabil-a-dot system, and they responded back super quick. They addressed my concerns, and offered solutions for the future. That last bit gives me peace that down the road, theyll be there to help.

After having them for the past few weeks I can safely say I would order them again and order from the same company. The product is great and Vitrazza gets an A in my book. I believed the Vitrazza glass mat would look great on our LVP wood-grain floors, and it does! My desk chair was beginning to wear on the edges of the LVP flooring, creating a tiny lift that would likely grow to become noticeable. Now the floor is protected, looks even better like it is on display, and my chair glides with renewed ease. I want to order the fancy in-line skate casters for even better performance now! This product replaces the standard plastic style chair mat in a home office, which did not enhance the appearance of a good rug. The rug now shines through the clear glass. To negate the moving/slippage of the glass mat on the rug, I used white Velcro tape (Industrial Strength) in the corners and along one edge. This is a light colored rug, so the Velcro is not apparent upon casual inspection. Great product!!!

Looks great. So much better than plastic mats (no divots to escape from!). My chair rolls easily on it without skidding. Its heavy, so a bit tricky to unpack and get into position. Takes two people, just as the instructions suggest.

I never liked my the plastic floormat, especially as my office is carpeted. I was constantly kicking the caster swivel to knock the wheels out of their indentations. The difference with glass is truly amazing. I was so glad to get rid of those plastic rug covers that would crack and then the wheels of my chair got stuck in the cracks....and they did not last long at all. The glass is fantastic. I even dropped a heavy stapler on it and it did not break.

Don’t be intimidated by the fact that there’s instructions for opening the box and putting down the floor mat - it’s very easy. We just had finished concrete floors installed in our lower level and the Vitrazza glass floor mat allows the beauty of the floor to show through while letting us glide around.
