Staff isnt friendly, very snobby, especially the older lady that was working. Maybe she doesnt like her job. I dont appreciate the way I was followed around like I was there to take something. I was there with my son to buy us both shoes, they stood starring the whole time like I was there to steal something. I understand some people are thieves but you dont have to treat everyone like they are. There is a way of watching without stalking. I will drive out of town next time.

Honestly, I wouldnt even leave a star if I could. I walked into the store with my daughter, without a mask on. The store manager asked if I had a mask, I politely told him I do not. He then said because I did not have a mask that we would have to leave. I proceeded to tell him that was not the case and kept walking. He continued to get a nasty attitude and argue with me. I turned around and told him I would not continue to argue with him. My daughter and I continued to look at sneakers for her while the store manager huffed and puffed and paced the store like a crazed person. As we were finishing up her selection he sat down on the bench, mean stared at us, and as we scooped up the box to make our purchase he blatantly stated that we would not be able to check out. I told him they could not refuse service and I have never been treated this way before and told him how he was acting. He proceeded to call me a few choice words. We continued to walk to the front of the store to make our purchase. I said to the sales rep that she could not refuse service because we did not have masks on. The store manager told her to go to break and he was going to refuse service. He handed me a mask which I then held over my face to complete our purchase. Had my daughter not needed tennis shoes, and this really being the only decent shoe store Goldsboro has left, we would not have continued with our purchase from the start. His attitude was something else. My partner went into the store after hearing what had happened without a mask on as well, to see how the manager conducted himself. He asked him if he had a mask and he told him no, the manager handed him a mask but he never put it on, nothing else was said to him the entire 10 minutes he browsed. He then spoke to the manager and the manager told him it was because I had a nasty attitude to begin with. I have contacted Corporate, they have seen I have been a loyal customer for years and are working on this. They will be reviewing camera footage as well. The mandate the store manager had posted on the door was from November 2020. I have never been treated in such a way and will probably not step foot back into the store, I will likely make the drive to other rack rooms or purchase online. This dude needs to go!!!

Like the fact that I can by one get one half off but its very hard to find wide width shoes.

I love coming in here. The employees there are amazing. They are always so helpful and pleasant. I dont like to be harassed when walking through there but I understand that they are being helpful. Lol however I still enjoy my time when I come and shoe shopping is always a great stress reliever.

This is the only place I can find a variety of 4e shoes. Everywhere else has none or at best 2 options. I weight this against high end work boot places also,where most max out at 3e and on most ocations have 2e on hand.

The staff is great and theyll order what they dont have. That said its a rare occasion (about twice a year) they have my size. If you wear regular size shoes your in luck! If your foot is above size 11 or wide good luck. When they have them in stock get them as I do, half off the second pair or delivered to you for free.

I was refused service because my 2 year old was not wearing a mask. I spoke to the male manager (who had an attitude)who stated this was their policy and no one could come in without a mask on. I have contacted everyone and i will make sure this is posted everywhere!!
