First time. Great selection. Had the exact item I wanted in stock. Customer service was not great. I did not find a helpful, sincere attitude. Instead, I felt unwelcome and talked down to. Bad vibe overall.

Such a vast store of every type of bait and tackle you can think of. I was blown away at the selection. I will be making a stop here before every outer banks fishing trip. So much better than bass pro in my opinion.

Has everything a fisherman can ask for, if they dont have it they will get it. The best bait and tackle store i have ever been in. Even better than Bass Pro shop. Not as big as Bass Pro,but have a better selection of fishing gear. Simple the Best!!!

I asked for assistance and I had to wait for the young man behind the counter to finish with a complicated phone call. I asked for the older employee or manager that was ticketing item on the shelf, who said to wait for the young man to finish. Bad service

I went to EZ Tackle today for the first time. I was amazed at what they have had in stock. As I was walking around I ask the guy working there a Question and he said they didnt carry what I was asking for and he had never heard of them. He never smiled and looked like he was mad at the world. I didnt ask him anything else. I noticed he never smiled the hole time I was in there. I was able find a few things that I had been looking for on Ebay for less moneyI went to pay for my things and was joking with the cashier and she was not very friendly either. I spent about $45.00 and got the hell out. dont know if I will ever go back there again. I love to fish and dont mind spending money tackle I need to catch fish but I had rather buy off Ebay.

I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt fully understanding that everyone has “off” days but today I simply went to EZ Tackle to pick up some shrimp. I get my shrimp to pay for it and on the way to the front a lure that I was looking at had a funky price on it ($115). I take my shrimp and lure up to the front and an older Caucasian lady (I know how this climate is, I’m not trying to indict the Whites, I simply don’t know her name) SNATCHED the lure from my hand after I point out the price possibly being wrong. She asks a coworker who was on a phone call with a customer (I didn’t intend for my simple inquiry to interrupt that) and it was correct. I’m a grown man, if you don’t want my business or me to come into your store...plenty of tackle shops where I fish sell shrimp and everything else EZ Tackle sells. A couple of weeks prior, another male worker was very rude and pretentious when I simple made a joke that “y’all moved everything on me.”“ItS iN tHe SaMe PlAcE iTs BeEn FoR tHe PaSt 4 yEaRs, bO.” 😒😒First of all I didn’t ask any of that, I just want to know where an item was, but again it seems like there is a lot of hostility towards me, and I don’t know anyone there except one other worker, who is ALWAYS sweet to me. I know in this climate, people cry foul and whine and complain about that you know what card, but when you treat me very poorly and you don’t even KNOW ME..AND I’m spending $15, $20 every time I come, but you treat others with common decency..2+2....You don’t have to like everyone and if that’s how you were raised, it is what it is, but ALL MONEY is green and you as an adult should be able to at least feign respect for your damn customers, since you’re running a business.

By far the most knowledgeable and friendly staff Ive ever encountered in a tackle shop. They literally have everything! Went for the first time yesterday and will buy all of my gear from them from now on. Thank you guys for the great experience!

The experience and knowledge of the employees in this store is unmatched. You will not find the everyday fishing knowledge these guys have, this side of the sound!! These are real fishermen. They have the knowledge and experience to sell you what you need. And educate you on how, when and where to use it. If EZ Bait & Tackle aint got it, you probably dont need it. Dont go to a bigger named store just to get ignored or not be able to talk to someone who knows fishing. Every employee in this store, including the young 10-11 year old fella, know their stuff. Fishing is what they do!!

If you cant find what you need here they probably dont make what you need. they carry everything. prices are decent and a couple times they took an extra discount at the register.

The most well stocked tackle store in North Carolina! Ethanol free gas for boats and small equipment. Most of the staff is very knowledgeable about where the bite is and what they are biting on. If they by chance do not have something in stock they will order it and have it in a few days. The owner is there most days and takes care of his customers. It is well worth the drive and plan to spend at least an hour to see everything!

WOW they have Tackle and Gear from top to bottom and all around the outside, its an anglers dream and your bank accounts worst nightmare.

Take all the inventory from 3 big box stores, throw in live bait, add extensive surf rod selections, now sprinkle in actual knowledgeable staff, cram all that into a convenience store structure and add gas pumps and you have E-Z. Should be a destination for any avid or aspiring amateur fisherwoman or fisherman.If you are visiting on a holiday, call to verify their hours and call right before you leave just to make sure they are there. You never know, they might get to go home early on a holiday (like they did July 4th 🇺🇸).Trust what I’m telling you, you will get addicted to visiting this store! 😁

Dont judge the outside of this building, I was traveling through the area & I had the itch to hit a fishing store. There are no images on google that do this store justice. Do yourself a favor and stop here. The place is slammed full of fishing gear for just about any type of angler. Actual helpful staff... WHAT... lol asked some question to a kid that looked no older then 18, but he knew what he was talking about and was attentive, & respectful. This place is a diamond in the rough. Really is!!!

I LOVE this place! They have everything you need, period. We go to E-Z Bait even if were going fishing at the coast. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices.

If you never been here you will be absolutely blown away by the quality and amount of fishing tackle. I’ve never been to a tackle shop with the quality staff and products as this one. This is the one.

I have bought gas and a couple of items several years ago from this establishment when the prices were reasonable. I did not for some years as the gas prices have been much higher relative to everywhere else. Also the owner usually be quite unfriendly and generally I personally do not like because if you do not spend a great deal of money with him will treat you quite rudely. I recently went there with a friend to cash a small check and he refused to do so and made comments about me not doing business there for some time. I was doing a reasonable transaction and was polite but was treated rudely and he refused to cash the check. I guess all I have to say if you are not well off financially do not do business with him because he will be disrespectful to you. I did not intend to frequent his place of business on this occcasion and will certainly never do so again.

This place is huge! Just about anything you want, they have, for fresh water fishing.

The staff at EZ was extremely helpful and friendly. These guys have anything you could possibly need.

This place has so much stuff! Ill be going here from now on.
