Highly recommended!After flooding in Hurricane Florence I was faced with the daunting task of rebuilding my home. A friend in the same boat (pun intended) recommended Southern Stone after I found that lead times in our area were 3 to 4 months. The showroom had an extraordinary amount of samples in the showroom as well as numerous slabs to choose from. Audry helped me select a quartz; she was friendly, knowledge and above all patient. Unfortunately, the product was not available from the manufacturer because of the amount I needed but Katherine reached out to me immediately and had identified options before I arrived. Her suggestion of granite turned out amazing, I cannot be more pleased. The installers and templater were prompt, efficient and professional, and the ctops were less expensive by far than the local big box stores. Make this your first stop and in all likelihood, it will be your last.

My experience with Southern Stone was very positive. Stephanie did a great job leading us through the design process, and their inventory and selection of available colors and materials was fantastic. I am very pleased with the finished product, and I was happy to get such great service from a locally and family-owned company.

They had an excellent selection of stone additionally they helped us save money by choosing a remnant. We got Level 3 granite for the price of level 1. We had a problem when the installed the piece but they sent out a repair guy and he took care of the issue and you cant tell that there was a problem and they gave us an extra discount they might have taken a loss on this work but they wanted to make it right for us.

Stephanie and Mamie were a great help in picking out my granite. Installers were great also.....they arrived 10 minutes early and had both of my barthroom counters replaced in an hour. I thought I would have a huge mess to clean up and paint to touch up but I didnt!! I highly recommend Southern Stone!!!

This company really care about their quality of work and customer satisfaction! They stand behind their service from beginning to end. Our cabinets are beautiful, and the countertop really brought out the color nicely. They have many colors to choose from and give you a chance to change your mind before installation. I know we will enjoy our products for a lifetime.

I have made three visits to Southern Stone in Goldsboro. Adri is THE BEST. She was very knowledgeable, informative, and patient. I think I changed my mind 3-5 times before THE slab was found. If you’re redoing your bathroom or kitchen and working with a contractor, have them use Southern Stone. Be sure to ask for Adri.

Sales person did not tell me about inherent flaws in the granite I picked out. Company said the sales person was new and unfamiliar with the issues with the granite. When I tryed to get them to try to correct the problem they blew me off. Basically said oh well that is just they way it is, just make sure you get your final payment in. If you deal with these folks you better be well versed in the characteristic of the different types of stones or you may be stuck with a very expensive disappointment like I am!

We have had granite installed in two different homes by Southern Stone and have had a great experience. Professional service and a beautiful product. We would highly recommend them.

Great service and quality..

Southern Stone is by far the best granite countertop business in town. They had over 400 slabs and one of the top fabrication facilities in town. Everything is done by machinery and have very nice employees that went over and beyond for my family.

Have used on multiple occasions. Highly recommend them for granite needs.

Poor management and unprofessional -- store is closed during business hours frequently. They list their hours on their door, and all three times I went in, during the hours stated on the door, it was closed. Called the contact number but never connected with a real person - always an automated answering service. Will be taking business elsewhere.
