Dropped off a package there a week ago - they packaged it, affixed the label to the box, and assured us the package would be delivered in two days. A week later, we have no updates in tracking information and the package has not been delivered. Contacted UPS and they told us that there is no record to indicate it ever even left the UPS Store. They recommend we contact the store directly. I called about a dozen times throughout the day and no one ever picked up the phone. I went into the store and talked to a staff member, who told me that they have no idea where the package is. They indicated that if I didn’t buy extra insurance for the package it’s on me - apparently they take no responsibly for packages lost on their watch. They told me their manager would call me this morning to discuss. I haven’t received the call back and have been trying to get a hold of the store all day (already called 9 times today). Absolutely horrific experience. I’ll update the review if the issue is resolved..

Store 2652 outstanding service, prompt and always courteous. Julie is my go to to pack and ship my honey jars to family. I trust her to wrap and box delicate items with glass. Boxes always arrive out of state perfect. Thank you Julie, youre the Best!

Came to drop off Amazon orders. Chose drop off at ups, they’ll box and ship. I come to this location and dude at the counter is trying to sell me bags and stuff to send back the package with. Trying to talk to me about colors and different orders. I’m just trying to drop and go not fight with you for 30 mins after i get off work. Just go to the other one in Goldsboro . Much nicer

Red headed lady that works in there has very poor customer service. She is not friendly. She doesn’t speak when you walk in and when it’s your turn she just stairs at you. Very rude. She may work best dealing with packages and not customers.

Ive always had excellent service here at this UPS Store. Theyve shipped many a return for me as well as I was in a couple days ago for Notary services and the lady who helped me was hilarious, easygoing, and efficient. The parking definitely leaves a lot to be desired, but the service in the store is great.

Its pretty much like walking into the post office except you dont have to stand in line as long. The service is quick and efficient. It is just about the same price for shipping as the Post Office charges. I was shipping a small box that didnt weigh very much. It had two bags of dried butter beans that cost less than $2 a bag and one box of dried chicken pastry noodles going to California, and it was going to cost over $20 to ship the Box. I ended up taking the chicken pastry strips out of the box putting it in a lightweight plastic package mailer mailing it from the post office and it still cost me over $17 so theyre very close in cost, and they both provide tracking numbers but it is easier to park at the post office t h a n it is at the UPS Store as they have one dedicated parking place. That will be the last package I mailed to California. Ridiculous and its still going to take at least 1 week ground shipment at that price.

Reading these reviews is the greatest tea Ive ever had, I want the owners autograph. Props to you for standing up for yourself man. Also just a great location in general, anything ive ever had to drop off here or ship here has been extremely convenient and fairly priced, highly recommend.

Went to ship a package, I had previously written the address on the package and had the address on my phone from the company for shipping. The girl put it in wrong so my package was returned to UPS they called me to tell me it had returned my option was to come get it or come back and pay again to have it shipped. Terrible business!!!

I own a business and I needed something notarized IMMEDIATLY because I only had 30 minutes to have a document dropped off at the DMV that I missed a signature on. My father and I walked in and told the owner/manager that we needed something notarized and he LITERALLY scoffed at us before explaining that it would be 20 minutes before he MIGHT be able to fit us in. He used a rude tone and seemed irritated like he didnt want to be there. We didnt have time to wait so we ended up going to our bank who were nice enough to take care of us. Later the same day when we were in another town and needed another document notarized we walked into a much nicer UPS who notarized TWO DOCUMENTS for an employee and I both in under 3 minutes with no attitude. Read the other reviews and you will see a recurring theme and that is: The owner does not like his franchise and isnt happy to be there. I have filed a complaint with UPS corporate and hopefully they can give him some retraining. This isnt the first time Ive had a bad experience at this store but it will DEFINITEILY be the last. Its USPS or FedEx until there is another UPS location that can offer professional services.

Manager copped an attitude with me when I had a little girls bike to ship back with a box-less Amazon QR code and refused to ship it. Scott Smith (the manager) needs a refresher course on manners and customer service. I won’t be back.

They refused to do a notary because they were down two employees. Coming from Clinton, Mississippi, our UPS store had 2 people in it most days. Even with the pandemic and long lines due to capacity restrictions, they never turned me or anyone else away. I guess I got spoiled and expected the same at all UPS stores.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION!Go to the Staples up the street for all of your shipping needs.No recognition of time. Closing earlier than posted. Smart business...The owners response is all thats needed. Closing early when customers are trying to make a deadline and brushing it off shows that even the incompetent can own a business. Those few 3 minutes, pushed our shipment 2 days. UPS must love Scott as a representative of their company.Reading other reviews this seems like a recurring issue.I also couldnt imagine what the employees have to deal with regarding the owner/managerThose three minutes you were so willing to defend have cost you...whether you believe it or not Scott.Some fun owner responses clipped from other reviews. Careful how you review, you might have to defend yourself if your not happy with Scotts performance.Woo-hoo 2000 views!

Bad experience. The employees were ok and were trying to help, but the manager/owner was rude as soon as he came out I felt the disrespect. As soon as he seen what i wanted to send he started to to kinda yell $300 thats going to run $300 . Idk why I guess he was trying to be funny. I did not find it funny. Im an ebay seller and I have used this ups to send many products . Then telling me he cant send it and that he doesnt want to waste his time filing an insurance claim if something happens. At that moment I felt he didnt want me in the store. And if I did want to send it it would cost $100 to sendit. I told him was their any cheaper way and he basically just walked off. I run a business and I would never make my customer feel as if hes a burden and no longer want him in the store. You have to have some sort of decent customer service with the people that pay your bills. I felt none of that today and highly advise people to find another shipping site. Rude rude rude!

Thank you to the wonderful UPS store for your gracious service yesterday. In addition to a UPS package needing to be shipped, I had a package labeled with tracking for the US Postal Service that needed to be shipped via the post office. The young man working said he could take it & make sure it was picked up by USPS that afternoon. I just checked the tracking numbers and my packages are on their way! Thank you!!

Although the young lady who helped me was very nice, the owner Scott Smith was very rude. We needed help sending off a larger item and ups told us to set an appointment with our local ups stores someone would be there to help with the large item, so we did just that. We explained what the item was and how heavy it was in the description but none of the details mattered once we finally spoke with the owner. While being rude and difficult saying “he doesn’t do treadmills” and not even coming out the back just yelling at his employee what he is not going to do. Instead of being a “the owner” he kept referring himself as and showing some kind of customer service and at least helping us find who can help us since ups is the one who told us to come to that store, he kept repeating he isn’t ups that is his store he has nothing to do with what ups told me to do. The store clearly states that it’s a ups store. Once he came to the front he was being very defensive and would not even look at me when he was y’all saying i don’t know what to tell you but I will not be doing no treadmill here. I asked him well is there somewhere else that I can go that can help me he brushed me off like he didn’t even wanted to answer my questions. I was very disturbed in my entire experience with this store and will not go back. The customer service was horrible.

Got there at 2:55pm. Store closes at 3pm. Door was already locked. Woman comes out, I slipped in. Owner says, Im closed! I said Sir, its only 2:55pm, I traveled 30 minutes to get here. He yells IM CLOSED!! Very obnoxious, not customer service friendly. Bald guy with a very bad attitude. Wont be going there again.

Not really impressed with this place or staff. When its slow female staff has friends hanging at counter & strong smell of cigarettes on one of the female employees (awful) on several occasions. when its busy they rush through but give you a look when you want a receipt. Name tags are hit & miss & can say only the male staff member has ever thanked me! I really try to only go if i absolutely have too

Nice store; convenient location, clean approach, good parking. All what Id expect.What I didnt expect was that the store, which is a franchise, is free to decide that it will NOT accept billed to corporate UPS accounts.The store was happy to take my money to box up my goods. They would not put a UPS label on that box unless I was giving them real money. They sent me to the UPS warehouse clear across town.In addition, the staff at the store could have been MUCH more clear that the warehouse hours were split-day. I thought I heard closed by 3:30, and instead the warehouse was closed UNTIL 3:30.When I turn to UPS, I expect to be able to USE all of the UPS services. FedEx is right across the street. Next time, Ill ask my partners for their FedEx number.

The first time they tried to deliver my item at 9 am on a work day and decided to leave a note saying it “won’t fit in the mailbox” which it was a desk so, duh. We tried calling and the phone was disconnected so we had to drive up and pick them up.Now I’m waiting on another item that is either 4 days late as of right now or possibly lost according to Amazon.

Went on 12/17/2018 and there was a long line. We were in line like everyone else was and we needed to get a document notarized. When we finally got to the front of the line and a young lady was assisting us, a man that was also working there came over and asked the girl what we needed. He was really rude asking her what we needed, that we were holding up the line and told us to move to the side so he could assist us. First of all, I was going to pay for the service that I went to get just like everyone else and second of all that is not the way to treat people. I would understand if he talked to us in a polite kind of way. This is the place were I usually go to make copies and use the mail service, but this will be my last time going in there with this type of customer service.

The last time I used this location I was sending Christmas packages. It cost me well over $100, which was more than the items cost combined. The wait was a bit more than what I had expected, but most of the associates are nice. May need to think about air circulation, as it was getting HOT inside the store while waiting. There are some with not so nice personalities. And I wanna know who it is that is responding on behalf of the owner? Your replies seem a bit too personal..?

First time visiting this particular UPS store. I had to drive 45 minutes to this Goldsboro location because the one in Kinston will not scan bar codes or print out labels. Anyway...this location not only greeted me..but did not make me pay for taping. Very polite staff. Very professional and welcoming. Thank you Goldsboro UPS!

Worse experience Ever! Had a package shipped to the store, when I called about the package Scott didnt remember the package and told me I needed to call UPS. I had to convince him that my package was shipped to the store. He then told me it was sent back to the shipper. Poor customer service, do NOT use this store for package delivery. I believed it would save me time, it did not.

UPDATE AFTER OWNER REPLY: THIS IS THE WORST UPS STORE I HAVE EVE BEEN TOO.. I am used to great service all over the country, however this store.. wow.. the snotty young girl with black hair wouldnt process my Amazon refund as per her orders and I sat on the phone with Amazon for an hour while she was so smug .. her incompetence was my reward .. Amazon refunded my full 400$ purchase because of the UPS store and this nasty little employees complete incompetence... Thank you Amazon! Ups .. bad bad shame on you for hiring this class of staff.... Update : the idiot owner has now joined the conversation.. yea! First of all your dam right I was on the phone with Amazon that was a 500 dollar ebike, and I for stuck in that awful town when my cars engine died and just went out and bout a scooter out of pocket for my hotel stay.. pool hustler.. I love that one.. lol.. I was on tour down the east coast from NY to Florida when I got stuck there and had to do business with ups and that absolutely right what I said.. I have got better service ANYWHERE bit there ! If you watched your tapes then you know that little snot just sat there with the typical young kid attitude that lazy and doesnt want to help in any way.. the customer is always right slogan of American businesses has been gone for a while now as per your attitude as an owner?? Courteous staff, outrageous prices. $16.69 for a 30X17X16 box and $44.96 to ship less than 5 lbs to Kansas City which will STILL take 6-7 days. I understand the staff most likely doesnt mandate the pricing, and I dont mind paying for good service, but for what I paid ($68) I should have received more. Next time I will use USPS instead. Theyll ship it for 1/2 of what I paid. Plus the box should have costed less than half of what I paid. Apparently this store marks up their sales by 50%. Lesson learned, I wont make this mistake again.

My husband needed to ship something internationally tonight and it was very time sensitive. We arrived at 6:26 and they supposedly close at 6:30. I️ know it’s annoying when customers Come at the last minute, but my husband works late and that was the only time he could come. The doors were locked early and the man inside made eye contact with my husband and rudely turned his back and waved him away. Another lady came before 6:30 and he ignored her as well. Very disappointed.

I am giving 5 stars because everything was fair excerpt one of the employees. I did not catch her name but she wore glasses and she was very unprofessional and rude. I stood in line just like everyone else for about 15 mins. When I was next in line she called on the lady behind me. When the woman explained that I was there first, she cut her off stating she aint got nothing that needs to be boxed and sent off . The lady, feeling uncomfortable now, touched my arm and said excuse me, and I kindly let her by. After the rude worker helped the lady behind, she then asked me Maam do u just need a book of stamps......I was pissed but I held my composure. I did not like the way she handled business and it was very unprofessional.

Have had a UPS Box at this place for 3+ years. Cant imagine not having one. I get single packages on up to pallets of packages delivered and they take care of my shipments until I get there to pick them up (which is now limited to Saturdays only) Never have to wait at home for the FedEx or UPS guy to drop off or pickup my packages.

I ordered a pressure washer for fiancée. Not only was the box completely damaged, they just left it in the middle of the driveway. Our security camera shows the man just basically throwing it out the back and jumping back in his truck. He never came to the door, to notify anyone it was there or anything. I know it was this location because of the tracking information Im highly disappointed in UPSan and the way they handle packages now a days. I pray the new one we purchased arrives in better condition.
