We prefer to get it to go. The service is great. Super friendly and helpful to explain the menu. Love all the options. Burgers, chickens, fish and salads. Huge portions. They have a app menufy i think its called. And doordash delivers it i believe. The inside seems clean but also covered with a film of grease if that makes sense? Prices are decent. Its very delicious.Drinks were very small when was there. Not sure if was a regular thing. Will continue going many times

We usually eat there and never had a problem. Well, tonight was a different story . Our fries werent cooked completely. Our buns werent toasted. The sandwiches were barely warm. My son didnt get his sauce for his shrimp. I called the store. The lady that answered the phone said come back tomorrow for a free order of fries. Like what about the sandwiches that are cold ? That is all I can do is give you fries TOMORROW. What about tonight? I spent over $20 on food we cant eat.I all they can do is fix me fries tomorrow? I am highly unsatisfied. Most likely wont return.

My son had been there, because he was going to dipper. Dipper was busy, so his family tried this restaurant. They loved it. I took several friends and family there, after a visit for my grandson who had died. This was a great choice. The workers were great, even with us being confused. The food was the very best ♡ I have told several people to go try it.
Today the quality was less than stellar. The shrimp were soggy and the macaroni and cheese was more like noodles in slightly cheese flavored water. Ive been more impressed in the past. Hoping today was just a fluke.

I live love their food BUT today right before what is evidently closing time. I ordered fried green tomatoes, a crab cake and large sweet tea with extra ice. Well I ended up with ubsweet tea and practically no ice so they fixed that right away. Then when I got home I discovered I didnt have the tomatoes and they gave me fried pickles🤮 So I tried to call them at six straight up and no one would pick up. I will comment that their service is usually good but for the money they charge it should be. Hopefully tomorrow when I call them theyll make it right.
Food came out. Had the Philly chicken, and Philly cheese steak. Both are great. Chicken is my pick. Not too bad pricing. Burgers are a little too salty overall ill be back.
Sams is a good little spot to get you a good ole bowl/plate of southern eats.
Bummed they didnt have any fiddlers but the food we ordered is delicious. Red beans and rice are the bomb. Very nice staff.

New local restaurant - Drive thru- I ordered the Buffalo wings (sauce on the side)with red beans & rice, slaw, fried mushrooms.. food was prepared quickly, to order (so you might have to wait a few minutes) traditional Buffalo sauce with Ranch to dip, and I recommend the Sams sauce for the Mushrooms. Price was a decent value.. the wings were HUGE! Everything was very tasty.
Great service. Catfish is 🔥🔥!! The chicken strips are very tender but could use seasoning (more if already used). Jumbo shrimp taste great as well. The green beans are ok ( Ive had better). The coleslaw is good but the red beans and rice are on point! I could eat that alone with some cornbread!! So far that is all I had from the menu. Food is definitely hot and freshly cooked upon ordering which (other than being busy) is the reason for the wait. I dont mind that at all. Try the house sauce on the chicken tenders... its called Sams sauce with is great tasting and different. I would consider this spot like a catfish shack because the catfish is definitely a hot commodity 👌🏽👍🏽💯

Its a lil pricey in my opinion but the Philly is great, gumbo was good but needs less juice. Pour most the juice away and its good. ( for example ya know how Campbells chicken noodle soup is 3/4 broth and 1/4 everything else. Thats what this was like). Id go back again
Very good food! They were quite busy but still quick. Had fish, shrimp, crab cakes and red beans and rice. All very good. Will be a repeat customer!
We prefer takeout when we buy from Sams. My complaint is the Styrofoam plate gets condensation from the delicious hot food. Sometimes we get home across town and it gets less crunchy. Otherwise the seasonings and tastes are very good.

I really had high hopes when I heard about Sams Southern Eatery and was excited to find out they were finally opening. I never post reviews but I was really disappointed tonight. They forgot part of our order and I had to go back for a side of green beans. They were straight out of a can with no seasoning and the fish was just okay. Not southern cooking like I expected and not worth the $16.99 I paid for my meal.
If you like salt with extra salt you might like this restaurant.
They put the phone down after putting us on hold and we could still hear everything. They sat and talked for 10 mins and we heard a customer walk up and they took there order just fine. So we called back and asked to speak to a manager and she said he is busy.
First time here and my food was burnt and hush puppies were burnt were black instead of golden brown. Won’t come back here again. Could be good if had a different cook.

I ordered a Philly cheese steak with fries the employees were very friendly the food was hot I mean I live 20 mins outside of town and it was still hot when I got home it was a big serving well worth the 9 bucks and some change was very very good Ill definitely be back to try some other things
There is was this gentlemen who came in and was short on a meal. Me and my husband was there have the gentleman some help. The ladies there took out of their check told him to keep his money and bought him a whole meal this has touched my heart❣️. This food is amazing. I will keep coming back.

So happy to have a Sams ! Loving the fish, its seasoned just right, crispy outside and delicious inside . The deep fried Oysters are sooo tasty, fresh, juicy, love them also . Im putting in an order as soon as i finish this review for some other goodies . The service is fast, they are very efficient, and kind . So thanks to you all for a great experience .
