They have a great selection of used and new items. I was looking for a catchers gear set for my 9 year old daughter and they had a large selection of everything I needed. They even had a new boxed set that they even priced matched for me. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend coming here.

SELLERS BE WARNED!!! I swear the guys here are 100% out to get over on you. I traded a golf club for some money because it was desperately needed.They WOULD NOT negotiate the price. This a 400$ driver in great condition. I figure half of 400 is 200 and they give me HALF of 200. That’s on the low end. Well needless to say I needed money then so I had to take 60$. I went back a few days later looking for another club and the driver was being sold for 265$. They couldn’t even meet me at 100 but they are making 200 profit off of me. I will sell another club at this particular Play It Again...

They had everything I had been looking for! Brand new dumbbells, lightly used golf clubs, and tons of sports equipment! You cant ask for much more! The guys at the counter were very friendly as well.

Some people dont know about this place. Thats why Im here to tell you. During COVID some of us put a little extra wt on. Just come here pick up some workout equipment for 1/2 price you would pay at the store. Use it then trade it bk in. Cant go wrong.

We went there to get baseball things for our 16 or old to play for his high school. We get cleats and pants so on and so on. Well we found a pair of cleats at ross for 10. 00 cheaper. So I go to take them back and thr guy was rude and this was at 10am!! They just opened!! I had the receipt and the shoes and handed them to him. He asked for the card they were purchased on. Naturally I didnt have that debit card. I said debit is like cash. I have the receipt and the shoes had never been worn. Nowhere in there policy did it say you can only put your returns back on your debit card he argued with me till I got fed up and just left mad. I will not be revisiting the avondale location again after I make the return. And I really hope the owner or manager reads this cause Id really like to give them and ear full on the fundamentals of teaching good customer service.

If you are trying to actually make decent money on your sporting equipment do not go here, I was cleaning out my garage and didn’t really care what I was getting for my equipment but I know I got screwed out of a good amount of money. Let’s just say what I got paid for 4 items they will sell 1 of my items for that amount, I do appreciate the money though for items I wasn’t using

Associates were great and very helpful. Prices can be a little high for used equipment, but it is a business. Supplies are a little low but Im sure its because of the times.

Bought a set of golf clubs that came with driver, 3 hybrids, 7, 8, 9 irons, pitching wedge, putter, bag and 2 packs of tees. The clubs shafts were still wrapped in plastic and the driver and hybrid clubs had leather covers. This was sold as a used set but was not used. It was a trade in and best of all it was for left handed golfers. Brand name is Orlimar with composite shafts. Great set for the remarkable price of $149.00. Went back to day for another left handed set and no luck. Will keep checking back when the golf season gets into full swing. When duffers start getting better the want to move up into more expensive clubs. Play it Again Sports is the place to go whether its on Litchfield or their store in Tempe. MANY clubs and sets to choose from for right handed golfers. MANY brand names to choose from.

Definitely some great deals. Its a smaller location but for the size, the selection is decent but that all depends on who brings in used gear! The staff was extremely helpful and personable. They have a military discount and their rewards program doesnt require an email which is a huge plus for me. Great spot for children sports equipment.

This is an absolutely amazing place to go when looking for used sporting good items at a reasonable price, and they did an excellent job relaxing my baseball glove when the laces ripped for a reasonable price. Highly recommended this place if you need sporting equipment in good enough condition to last you a few seasons at a good price.

I originally bought weights at Play It Again, for $121 - went to Walmart - saw the prices for EXACTLY THE SAME WEIGHTS- $66. The staff/Mgr was loading the exact weights from Walmart into his vehicle. Since they had bought out all of the Walmart weights there was none for us to buy.I myself have been going to this Play It Again for years...my son practically grew up with their hand-me-downs...after this experience - never again.Trust me, I understand needing to make a profit and I have supported it for years from them however the audacity and pride they took in making 50% profit and in treating their community in such a way is shameful. They took pride in doing it and saw no reason why they shouldn’t make as much money as they could off of us.

Kind of desapointed used to go a lot at the Largo Mall in FL. Which was a nice store .This one is kind of messy I was it able to see or find what I was looking for.Sorry guys get of the cell phone and try to organize the store that will help the customer

Great place to find sports equipment at a very affordable price. I bought all the equipment for baseball that my nephew needed and he was very happy. They are very professional and very nice here. Have to give a shout out to Trevor and all his help. I have 2 kids that needed to be fitted for football gear and he spent so much time fitting them and helping us out. We did not buy anything just because we wanted to check around. Ended up going back two days later and he remembered us and gave us the same great customer service. We got both kids equipment package deals. Definetly will go back. I recommend asking for Trevor.

Dont buy a treadmill here. I bought a used one, used it three times and it was dead. The motor was shot and the belt was bad. There are better options out there.

The young blonde man that attempted to help us was a complete jerk! Instantly started our experience off poorly by saying, We have another one. How professional! Was trying to fit a small helmet on my son, did not fit - kept telling him he needed a medium which he said they were out of...then shows up with a helmet that had a M on the back and a S on the front - appeared to be a small, he just thought we were not able to tell. This is not my idea of professional assistance- we have never had to purchase sports gear before and this was by far the worst way to start! Went to Big 5 and thank the Lord they were actually nice and helpful! It was so worth paying the extra money for the awesome experience! Will certainly NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone looking for gear! Thank you for nothing! A$$!

Went to purchase a punching bag and the store rep was assisting someone else. The customer finished his transaction and struck a conversation with the staff member. I stood there 10 minutes waiting to get some assistance and the staff member would not even acknowledge me. He looked at me and I looked at him and waited. He still kept talking to guy about roofing. I still waited and he looked and never once said “ Can I help you or do you have any questions?” I just walked out! Poor customer service. He know I had questions.

This place is great. The staff is very helpful and they have a great selection. They were very helpful getting my twin boys ready for baseball season.

One of the last great places to get sports and fitness equipment in store. Competitive prices on both new and used equipment coupled with the fact they buy your used gear, this place is usually a one stop shop for sporting goods.

For being used equipment a bit pricey found used dirt bike goggles for my son they wanted 30 and I found new ones for 24.99 same thing with gloves over priced. Then wanted to sell some golf stuff I had and they wanted to give me less then 10 bucks better off selling on offer up

They have a lot of used shoulder pads for a good price.

Went in I have no idea about football gear and the young man there was so helpful. He worked with my son and had the patients to explain things to us. Will definitely recommend this place and will continue shopping here.

Went to sell my all star gear that is in great condition and they lowballed me trying to say it was only worth 20$ which in fact it could run for upwards of 80$ used. Some of the cheapest people ever work there

Used shoes are a mess, Im sure that they have a lot going on but I think a simple process when buying used shoes to ensure they stay paired up, and an ordering system by sizes would be greatly helpful.

Took some decent golf clubs in to sell...no major dings, almost a complete set of irons/woods, including a putter. Included an almost brand new Calloway Diablo driver...the dude (a younger guy) offered $15 for only the driver and said he couldnt use any irons or the putter. To me, this was insulting and a complete waste of my time. If they want to brag about how they buy used equipment, then they should low ball to such a degree. Ill never set foot in that store again.

Way overpriced for used broken machines. They dont even tell you or mark issues with machines if they are not immediately apparent.

Ive been to a few Play it Again Sports but this one is the highest priced. For the prices of weights and kettlebells I can get brand new ones cheaper elsewhere.
