Dave isn’t professional. He is working out of his garage. Sometimes he will answer the phone and sometimes he won’t. He has lied for weeks about the service he said he would complete. All he has to do is be honest and say “he can’t complete the work”. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. He’s a phony.

Had a pleasant experience with Palm Valley Garage Doors on Tues and Wednesday. My garage door developed a ghost, it would suddenly just open, come up half way and stop.I used what little knowledge I had and then called Palm Valley Garage Doors. Their Tech showed up Tuesday on time and proceeded to diagnosis the problem as a defective power head, he then replaced it and suddenly the door would come down 2 feet and stop all by its self, a totally different situation. We decided that it was a defective power head, new out of the box. As he didnt have another one on the truck we rescheduled for Wednesday and again he was on time and replaced the power head. But to both our dismay it was still opening and closing by itsself, not the opening 2 feet and stopping, it would just open all the way and stop, close by its self with no buttons pushed on the remoter or the master switch. He was stumped!! He then when back to the basics and rechecked his work. He checked the Master Switch, both remotes and suddenly said, I found the problem. Inside the remotes there are 3 micro switches that open and close the door. My remotes are stored in the garage during the summer time and with the heat it melted the plastic so the switch was intermittently triggering the door to open. Removed the battery from that remote resolved the problem, no more ghost. With out his perseverance and professional attitude, i.e. we are going to fix this. I would have still had a ghost in my garage door!!!I highly recommend Palm Valley Garage Doors and the price was more than reasonable.

Dave was amazing! Came out to see me at 7 am this morning (even though it says he opens at 8am)when I called him yesterday afternoon! I called precision first and had requested a consultation because I had just bought this house in November and I didn’t know any better. I read the terrible reviews about how precision scams people a lot of money and read about Dave in a review one person left. I immediately cancelled my consultation with them and decided I would rather have a local business man like Dave to come take a look than a big company that would up sell anything and everything. Palm Valley Garage Doors replaced my 2003 builder door and opener a few weeks ago. The door panels had to be ordered due to my color choice. It took a couple of weeks but they were great with communication. The panels arrived July 3rd and they sent the installer out on the 4th of July. They arrived on time and did an excellent job. The new door is well insulated and keeps the garage about 15 degrees cooler than the old door. The new Marantec digital opener is so quiet I have to check to make sure the door is closed. Very pleased with the products and service. Highly recommended.

Dave from Palm Valley Garage Doors installed a garage door opener for me the day before yesterday, and I couldnt be happier with him! It is clear that he his very knowledgeable about all things garage-door-related, and he answered all my questions and gave me a lot of information when I asked him about springs and spring ratings (he even pulled out his book of charts and ratings to reinforce what he was explaining to me). I only wish I had known about Dave and called him last year when my garage door spring broke, especially since the company who did install the spring (one of the “big boys”) installed one that was inadequate and charged me a lot more money. And no, Dave did not try to sell me a new spring; he did however adjust the existing spring so that it was a little more balanced to work with the garage door opener a little better (which it did).
