Troyer carpets did our newly built house a few months ago and did a phenomenal job. So much so we wanted to do a few rooms in the basement and picked them to work with again because they proved to us that they are worth every penny. To be honest you don’t know what your getting yourself into when choosing vendors for your house . Out of all of the vendors Troyer carpets proved their business to be true. Tyler is a wonderful guy to work with and my husband and I will definitely keep using the company. He cares about his customers. Also Amos and Todd care about their work and I am excited to work again with them in future! Thank you Troyers!!

I contracted Troyer for a relatively small job--replacing the grout on our 15-year-old tile floor. It took one day to grind out the old grout, and another to lay down the new grout. I was thrilled that they were willing to take it on, since it is difficult work. And I will say, right up front, that the new grout looks very good. The job I asked for was done in a timely and professional way. However, I also got two other things I wasnt expecting. First, I asked in an email 2 days before the job, and again when they showed up, whether there was any preparation that needed to be done to protect the rest of the house. Both times I was assured that no, it would all be fine. I work in a small home office, where I could hear the work of grinding out the old grout and sucking it up with a shop vac proceeding all day. When I came out at the end of the first day, I was shocked by the site. The whole downstairs, including the adjoining carpeted living room and dining room, was filled with a cloud of grout dust. By the time it had settled, there was a thick coating of grout dust on every wall, shelf, window sill, appliance, decoration, and piece of furniture on the ground floor. It was even inside some of the cabinets. This was exactly what I had hoped to avoid with my questions about preparation. Surely they should have known that this was going to happen and done something to block off the other rooms and cover the appliances. Perhaps they felt it was my job to know this and prepare, despite the lack of information. That was the first issue (minus one star). The second was that when I called the office about this that evening (I was polite but firm), Randy got upset. He told me that they hadnt wanted to take the job in the first place, that they were willing to walk away from it (leaving it half done) if thats what I preferred, and that the best he could do about the mess was to tell his worker to clean the place up a bit when the job was done the next day. I was stunned. I had not expected that response. They finished up the next day and the floor looked fine, but I could hardly tolerate being in any of the rooms. I ended up paying a professional cleaning company $200 to wipe down and vacuum the entire downstairs. Like I said, the floor looks very good now, but it was an expensive lesson.

Excellent service- huge inventory. If your putting carpet down or buying a rug, this is the place. I had trouble with places like lowes and menards in the past, but Troyers is a true Full service flooring co.The price came in lower than thier original estimate. Under promise over deliver which I like alot.
