There was only two men on duty. I learned later that one man was the owner. Both were preparing food, nobody to wait on customers and of course nobody to clean tables for dine in customers. There was one person ahead of me in line and a mother and daughter came in after me. There were several tables already occupied by people eating or awaiting their orders. I waited about 5-7 minutes and was never greeted by the staff to tell me they would be with me shortly. That was all I expected as I could see they were busy. It didnt happen so I left. I drove to Einstein Bagels in Mequon and had my coffee and bagel sandwich in 5 minutes. It was delicious I will never go back to Big Apple as apparently I am not worthy to be greeted by the owner on entering his business. It also made me wonder, why does Einsteins Bagels have adequate staffing and this guy doesnt?

Highly do not recommend. It’s cheap and you definitely get what you pay for. We ordered 5 bagels and it took over an hour to get them with only 3 orders ahead of us. The owner started and finished multiple orders that came in after us instead of chronological order. On top of that, he sold the bagels we had ordered before they started making our order to people who came in after and we had to switch what kind twice. The most inefficient way to run a restaurant. Absolutely pathetic.

My daughter and I have been loyal customers over the years. We stopped going because the owner chided me on a few occasions on how I dont know how to use his credit card machine.

I am not a fan of the bagels, they are not bad, but there are a lot a places I would rather do for bagels. That being said, the guy who waited on us was so friendly that I worked go back again.

This was my first time at this location. Placed an order ahead of time. The bagels are very thin. They also gave us the wrong type of bagels (as I discovered when I arrived home) and the wrong type of cream cheese.

Ordered a cinnamon sugar bagel with cheddar and bacon cream cheese amongst other items. When I got home, looked in the bag and unwrapped bagel, turned out to be a better cheddar bagel. Very disappointed as I travel more than 15 minutes to this location and been ordering the same item for over 10 years.

The owner of this store is unreal. He is just amazing. Every time i go there, he is super sweet, remembers people orders, no matter how rare they come in, their families, etc. I highly recommend and suggest everyone supports this business.

Ive been to other Big Apple Bagels, but this is the best one so far. You can tell the owner truly cares. He is friendly with his regulars, and I daresay he remembers all their names. Once you sit down with your food, if the owner is on duty, he will make sure everything is to your liking and make sure you havr everything you need. You will feel like youre being served at a fine dining restaurant even though it has the speed of fast food.

The owner is always very nice and friendly - he gets to know his regular customers orders and the food is always delicious! My boyfriend and I go their every Sunday for breakfast and I always order ham and cheese on a pizza bagel while he switches between numerous breakfast sandwiches. I don’t have one bad thing to say about this place because the service and the food are both so good.

Joe is always so kind, personable and remembers my Moms favorite order every time I stop there to pick up for her. Just wish they had gluten free bagels and bakery so my family could eat more than just a salad there.

Some of the best damn bagels Ive ever had, and hands down some of the friendliest people in the service industry.

Always very very delicious. I only ever go there for the bagels, I never order the sandwiches. But everything is made fresh daily, so they sometimes run out of bagel flavors. Go earlier for the freshest and biggest selection of best bagels in town.

Always has great service and bagels are great.

Was as awesome as I remember. Havent had their bagels for a couple of years & CIEARA wanted bagels today so we came here to get them. Little disappointed they didnt have the ones we really wanted but it was already after 3. So not to upset. Will be going back soon.

The owner is very nice and the food is great, but the teenagers working there are very rude and have no customer service skills. When we walked in, we were the only ones in there and they did not greet us or offer any help. This is an hidden gem here in Grafton.Joe is the owner and one of the nicest people I have ever met. He makes its own bagels and many different cream cheese flavors.A must visit if you are in or near Grafton.

Delicious... However, the toasted is always different levels of toasted. Anywhere from chewy to crunchy. Consistency here would be nice.

The staff and food is amazing!

Food is always good and polite staff but it never seems to fail that people ordering similar food (usually toasted bagels) get their food before us. I’m talking 3-4 people after we order on occasion. I walk in looking forward to a good breakfast and generally leave frustrated. If they could fix it I’d give them 5 stars.
