Pleasant, helpful staff. Building was always clean and temp controlled as advertised. I thought my stuff was safe there and I did most of my transfers after hours and felt comfortable doing that alone. Mostly well lit but the motion lights in front of my locker didnt stay on all the time I was there. A rest room would have been handy. I only left because prices increased from under $90 to $130 and that was adding up long term.

The facility is clean and very well run. The managers of this location are thoughtful, helpful and professional.

Sharon was absolutely wonderful getting me a unit quickly and was able to think fast and get me a unit in a desired location for easier loading/unloading due to the unit becoming available just minutes before I got there. She’s a pleasure to work with, we rented a unit last year and she helped us then as well.

I had a wonderful experience at Extra Space Storage in Grafton, WI. They are not the cheapest in the area, but I would argue that they are the cleanest and offer the best security. You get what you pay for. The staff was extremely helpful getting me set up into a space for my vehicle storage needs. I would, and already have, recommended them.

Due to Covid, we had some complications finding a different apartment after our lease was up at the end of June. Extra Space was a FANTASTIC experience. Not only were the employees absolutely fantastic and knowledgeable, the building itself was extremely clean, well lit, safe-feeling, and easy to move in and out of. (We stored our items for a couple months until we found a place to move to) Because we signed up for our unit online we were able to get a discount which was a HUGE financial help to us. Again, I cant stress enough--our experience was fantastic. I would HIGHLY recommend the Grafton location to anyone who needs to store items, whether short or long term.

The Pro’s: the storage space is clean. Access is easy. The storage area seems secure. The storage area is partially heated. The personnel is friendly and helpful.The con’s: Items stored are NOT insured unless you purchase an additional insurance that is somewhat costly. We were not informed of that additional cost when asking for a quote.You cannot use your own lock but are obliged to purchase the ExtraSpace special lock to lock your unit. Again, this was not mentioned when we made our phone reservation. So be aware of these hidden costs.

Acquiring the space is fast and easy. Erin did a great job of professionally assisting me in choosing the right space for my needs. I rented a unit and the staff member put a lock in so no one would take the unit. When it was time to put my belongings in I could not get in cause they put in there own lock. So I had to connect the office so I could gain access.

Customer service is severely lacking. When there is an issue there is no clear number to call, instead I spent 20 minutes calling different numbers until I finally found a representative to talk to. Then when I told them the issue the told me the location manager knew about the issue, but there was no communication received as a customer. If there was an email or text sent out I wouldnt have had to waste 20 minutes trying to talk to someone about the issue and find a way to get into the storage area of the building.

I was searching for local storage facilities and contacted Extra Space Storage in Grafton, WI, to inquire about their facility, security measures, costs, and exact location. I spoke with Pahoua. She was exceedingly helpful and invited me to check out the facilities. It was highly secure, organized, and well maintained. I was able to view the 10’ x 20’ unit and to see how their specialized locks functioned. I would highly recommend Extra Space Storage to anyone. In addition, when signing a lease, the first month of rent is free, as is the 13th month. If you are in need of a secure, spotless storage unit, please strongly consider the Grafton, WI, location.
