I would give more than 5 stars if possible. The staff was more than pleasant, waited on me quickly without being in a hurry with those before me, and they had what I needed (several other places I tried did not). I will definitely shop there again.

Always friendly, and always helpful. Plus their potting soil is a lot better than most brands. Plus I always try to shop local. I am always satisfied.

Needed a key cut for my BMW motorcycle - not easy, and no one else would touch it. The BMW dealership wanted $400 for a new key and fob. Colonial (guessing it was Aaron) was able to do it. Thank you for the great service!

Staff is friendly and available to help you find whatever you are looking for. As some comments have said, it does have a surprising amount of stuff for home/outdoor needs in a small place, so its nice being able to walk in, grab, and go, instead of the bigger stores where you need to walk 10 minutes to get 3 things.

Started to go in today. I did not see anyone...worker or staff with a mask or other face covering. I did NOT go in. Guess my favourite Ace hardware store is not taking Covid or customers seriously. Sad!

First time shopping at this store and the staff were super helpful. They didnt even roll their eyes when I dropped 150 assorted sized O rings in the floor. One of the employees and I worked together to clean up my mess and she was great the entire time. If you need hardware give them a shot and buy local. Support our small business owners, show them tou care!

Friendly and helpful service. It is amazing that you can find just about everything and definitely some things here at Colonial Hardware in Graham North Carolina. I always enjoy making a trip and just spending time walking the aisles and looking at some of the items that you may not see in any other hardware store. Do yourself a favor and visit one of these rare jewels of small town living. Lets get these guys a thumbs up!

Thanks to Colonial Hardware Company in graham NC today for helping my wife out while I was at work. For $75 they reprogrammed my key fob for my 2007 Chevy Tahoe. Never hurts to have a spare. They tested both key fobs to make sure they worked, very through. Beats paying a dealership several hundred! Remote start and everything else works!

I really like colonial hardware in Graham. Its like a nice hometown hardware store that carries items you cant find at Lowes or Home Depot. For a smallish store it is packed! I can buy items there that the chain stores dont carry. The owners / staff is always nice. Very enjoyable place to shop.11-21-18Went to Colonial Hardware this evening. The young guy behind the counter was lacking personality. Its not that he was rude. But working a counter / checkout is the last impression the customer gets from any shopping experience and is actually the most important. If the customer feels like the cashier doesnt care when leaving its not a good thing. I still love Colonial Hardware and glad they are there and I will continue to go there as long as I am thanked for my purchase.

If you like high prices and service that makes you feel like your a bother, then this is your kinda place.Edit: Nope not the gas can person. Prices are the least of the issue. I think it’s the expectation of a friendly home town atmosphere. Only to be greeted or spoken to as if you were doing the customer a favor by helping them. Or the scowl on the employees face. And to be clear, I have frequented your store several times a month.

Employees refuse to wear masks, this was disappointing in the lack of concern for customers, i went there as opposed to a large store thinking it would be a safe place to go with my daughter. As a nurse it was a slap in the face to hear an employee say they arent wearing a mask becauee they cant breathe in it, I wear one all day every shift. Its reckless and inconsiderate. Ill never return to Colonial Hardware, even after the pandemic.

Love this store . Had a guy make a key for my 1989 Ford probe. He was determined to make it . And he did . He used a key that did not match and made it work. I told him that I dont think you will find one because other hardware stores dont have it . He spent a lot of time with me just for a couple one dollar keys. Hats off to colonial hardware store.

This is a wonderful Real hardware store ! They have everything you could possibly need. The staff are absolutely great. They treated me like family. They are there to help no matter what you need.

Always helpful with what you need. Dont buy bulk at the big stores, come here and get just what you need. And Ive found items here that the big box stores did not have. Nice staff too.
